A mobile CARS spectrometer is constructed to measure the instantaneous temperature of gases, of which software include the quick fit methods and a least square fitting method to obtain temperatures from the spectra. Two quick-fit-methods give smaller variance of temperatures than the least square fitting method even though they consume much shorter time to yield temperatures. The precision and accuracy of CARS temperature is measured in the graphite tube blackbody furnace in reference to a radiation pyrometer. The accuracy of the CARS temperature is $\pm$2% from 1000K to 2400K and the precision is $\pm$35K at 1600K with the most accurate quick-fit-method. As a demonstration of the instantaneous measurement, the spectrometer is applied for measurement of the turbulent combustion at a certain condition. eograms(HS) are made using a relatively small number of synthesized 2D images. The influence of aliasing artifacts caused by insufficient or improper sampling is presented, and a new sampling theory is proposed, which is used to making holographic stereograms. Also, the optical system for extension of viewing distance and viewing zone is proposed. Results of this analysis can be applied to design normal holographic stereograms and computer based holographic stereograms.

The recent development of 4G mobile communication system has led to the rapid technology shift from conventional repeater systems using coaxial cable links towards new fiber optic repeater systems using fiber-optic links between the base station and the outdoor fiber optic repeater. The technical changes have brought up the increasing needs of robust optic links that can be used in harsh environments. Based on the most demanding requirements, a new outdoor optical connector employing 2-channel fiber optics, uplink and downlink, has been developed for the applications where the rugged environmental protection is essential. This paper describes the development of the new connector along with the design criteria and performance results. In summarizing, the prototype optical connectors have undergone extensive laboratory and field test, and they have shown exceptional optical and mechanical characteristics under extreme environmental conditions. The connectors have also exhibited capabilities of providing fast and easy installation while maintaining high performance fiber optic connections.

This paper proposes a real-time dynamic storage allocation algorithm QSHF(quick-segregated-half-fit) that provides various memory allocation policies. that manages a free block list per each word size for memory requests of small size good(segregated)-fit policy that manages a free list per proper range size for medium size requests and half-fit policy that manages a free list per proper range size for medium size requests and half-fit policy that manages a free list per each power of 2 size for large size requests. The proposed algorithm has the time complexit O(1) and makes us able to easily estimate the worst case execution time(WCET). This paper also suggests two algorithm that finds the proper free list for the requested memory size in predictable time and if the found list is empty then finds next available non-empty free list in fixed time. In order to confirm efficiency of the proposed algorithm we simulated the memory utilization of each memory allocation policy. The simulation result showed that each policy guarantees the constant WCET regardless of memory size but they have trade-off between memory utilization and list management overhead.
Dynamic storage allocation (DSA) is a field fairly well studied for a long time as a basic problem of system software area. Due to memory fragmentation problem of DSA and its unpredictable worst case execution time, real-time system designers have believed that DSA may not be promising for real-time application service. Recently, the need for an efficient DSA algorithm is widely discussed and the algorithm is considered to be very important in the real-time system. This paper proposes an efficient DSA algorithm called QSB (quick semi-buddy) which is designed to be suitable for real-time environment. QSB scheme effectively maintains free lists based on quick-fit approach to quickly accommodate small and frequent memory requests, and the other free lists devised with adaptation upon a typical binary buddy mechanism for bigger requests in harmony for the .improved performance. Comprehensive simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms QHF which is known to be effective in terms of memory fragmentation up to about 16%. Furthermore, the memory allocation failure ratio is significantly decreased and the worst case execution time is predictable.
The objective of this investigation is to compare the geometric precision of Rigorous Sensor Model and Rational Function Model for QuickBird images. In rigorous sensor model, we use the on-board data and ground control points to fit an orbit; then, a least squares filtering technique is applied to collocate the orbit. In rational function model, we first use the rational polynomial coefficients provided by the satellite company. Then the systematic bias of the coefficients is compensated by an affine transformation using ground control points. Experimental results indicate that, the RFM provides a good approximation in the position accuracy.

This paper proposes a dynamic storage allocation algorithm, QHF(quick-half-fit) for real-time systems. The proposed algorithm manages a free block list per each worked size for memory requests of small size, and a free block list per each power of 2 size for memory requests of large size. This algorithms uses the exact-fit policy for small sie requests and provides high memory utilization. The proposed algorithm also has the time complexity O(I) and enables us to easily estimate the worst case execution time (WCET). In order to confirm efficiency of the proposed algorithm, we compare he memory utilization of proposed algorithm with that of half-fit and binary buddy system that have also time complexity O(I). The simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm guarantees the constant WCET regardless of the system memory size and provides lower fragmentation ratio and allocation failure ratio thant other two algorithms.
This study investigated the current production of women's sportswear tights among a total of 813 yoga, gym and training tights on the market to provide basic data for the development of women's sportswear tight tops. The results found the following: First, according to the analysis of women's sportswear tight tops by brand, polyester, nylon and polyurethane were most used. In addition, elastic, breathable and quick-dry, sweat absorbent products were commonly found. In terms of design, crew neck and sleeveless styles were popular. In addition, mesh was frequently applied to the top of the chest and upper part of the back. The size was mostly marked in S, M and L, and the size range was very large by brand. For color, achromatic color was most common. In terms of price, 'KRW 50,000-100,000' was frequently found. Second, yoga tights were compared to gym & training wear. In the case of yoga tights, elastic, various products in diverse design (e.g., crew neck, sleeveless, long sleeve, etc.) and colors (e.g., red, black, etc.) made of breathable and water-absorbing fabric were most produced. In particular, a combination of mesh materials was common. In gym and training wear, crew neck and short-sleeve styles in achromatic color made of elastic, breathable and quick-dry, seat absorbing fabric were most produced.
This paper describes the development of a software that has the man expert knowledge, experience and inference. This software is helpful for selecting the motors and driving systems which are best fit for the applications. Developed software can automatically select the most reasonable motor driving systems, only if a semi-skilled engineer inputs the performance criteria for the applications and mechanical data. Expert system inference engine and knowledge-base are implemented by C programming language. Data-base was implemented from manufacturer's catalogues for DC motors and brushless DC motors. Efficiencies of the various motor driving systems are compared reference on the average efficiency depends on the operating profiles. Developed expert system was tested in various of applications to verify the reliability, quick and easy selecting of the motor driving systems.
This study empirically investigated the changes of performance evaluation systems under the environment of supply-chain e-commerce. The objectives of e-commerce include obtaining financial profit, internal innovation through processes integration, learning with information flow, and customer satisfaction through quick response. These objectives are generally consistent with the four evaluation measures of balanced scorecard(BSC). This study, first, demonstrated that perceived environmental uncertainty(PEU) has a significant effect on the adoptions of e-commerce and BSC, and severe competition positively influences the use of e-commerce. With cluster analysis and subgroup analysis, we also showed that under the high adoption levels of e-commerce, the high utilization of BSC can improve the supply-chain performance of a firm. In addition, it was found that the use of e-commerce indirectly and significantly affects supply-chain performance through inter-organizational information flow, and the supply-chain performance of a firm leads to the improvement of organizational performance.
