Although flounder is one of the most important marine fish for aquaculture in Korea, feeding the flounder in commercial farms depends mainly on moist pellet in which over 70% frozen fishes (e.g. frozen horse mackerel) are incorporated in its formulation. Therefore, for further expansion of flounder farming, it is essential to employ practical formulated feeds that can support reasonable growth. Development of nutritionally balanced and cost-effective feeds is dependant on the information about nutritional requirement and feed utilization of the species. Nutrient and energy source in feed are needed for the growth and maintenance of fish. Protein is probably the most important nutrient affecting fish growth and feed cost. Therefore, it is essential to determine the optimum dietary protein level for the growth of fish, both its high proportion in the feed and because it is the main factor in determining feed cost. Dietary energy level is also critical because protein source in the feed is utilized as an energy source when the feed deficient in energy is fed to fish, whereas when the feed excess in energy is fed to fish, feed consumption decreased and resulted in growth reduction due to lack of other necessary nutrients for normal growth. Improper dietary protein, energy levels and/or their ratio will lead to an increase of fish production cost and deterioration of water quality resulting from wasted feed; thus, they are important in formulating commercial feed. Dietary lipids play important roles in providing energy and essential fatty acid for normal growth and survival of fish. Although carbohydrates are not essential nutrients for carnivorous fish, these compounds play important roles as a low-cost energy source for protein sparing and also as a feed binder. Nutrition researches for flounder have identified its requirements of protein, lipid and essential fatty acid, vitamin, and minerals for normal growth. Other studies have also been carried out to investigate the utilization of the protein, lipid and carbohydrate sources. Based on these nutritional information obtained, practical feed formulations have been studied for improve aquaculture production of flounder. The results of the researches on utilization of dietary protein, lipid and carbohydrate by flounder are discussed in this review.

Resistivity survey is one of the widely used methods for the investigation of stability of the ground or bedrock around tunnel and is also used as an essential base data for stability and reduction of construction cost through first-hand approximation of rock quality at design step. Generally, the analysis of resistivity survey data is performed by single measurement. When distribution variation of groundwater around a tunnel over time is necessary for maintenance of a tunnel, resistivity monitoring is very useful survey method to grasp distribution variation of groundwater. So we performed the grid line resistivity survey to monitoring resistivity variation for six times. And we also tried to evaluate application possibility of the resistivity monitoring for construction safety through providing detailed information on fault zones.

Objective: The aim of this systematic review was to investigate for effective strategies to improve home exercise program (HEP) adherence in vestibular rehabilitation (VR). Design: Systematic review. Methods: A systematic review was conducted to identify effective strategies used to improve HEP adherence of patients in VR. Six databases, Academic Search Premier, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, PUBMED, PsycINFO, and Web of Science were searched from their inception to December 31, 2015. The keywords used for search were 'home program', 'home intervention', 'compliance', 'adherence', 'vestibular rehabilitation', 'motion sickness', and 'motion sensitivity'. Results: A total of eight studies were selected to be included in the review. There was 95.2% agreement between the two reviewers who reviewed the studies using a quality assessment tool. The overall inter-rater agreement (${\kappa}$=0.73) showed good agreement between the reviewers. Strong evidence was identified for 3 major categories of effective HEP adherence strategies, 1) providing patient with written summary of HEP; 2) asking patient to maintain a record of HEP and symptoms; and 3) providing tele-rehabilitation in form of email and/or telephone support along with in person treatment sessions. Also, based on strong evidence, computerized technology was not found to be superior to other strategies for improving patients' HEP adherence in VR. Conclusions: The effective strategies for improving HEP in VR include written summary of exercise, maintenance of log of HEP and symptoms and tele-rehabilitation along with in person treatment sessions.
The elderly population in Korea is rapidly growing. As the population ages, meals become a greater concern, as physical and psychological health problems are directly affected by dietary life, especially for the lower-income elderly. Although the government provides support through a free congregate meal service, there is a lack of systematic management of this meal service. This study investigates the experience of the elderly, especially the symbolic meaning and issues regarding the congregate meal service in their dietary life, to establish strategies for improving congregate meal services. Qualitative data was collected from ten elderly receivers of meal services through in-depth interviews and data was analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological research methods. Overall, 90 significant statements, 13 formulated meanings, and five theme clusters were deduced. The five theme clusters for the importance of meal services to the elderly included the followings: "a real meal", "enjoyment of living", "maintenance of regular life", "place for social life" and "meal of silence". We found that the elderly regarded the congregate free meal service not only as meals to appreciate but also as a form of social life. Furthermore, the elderly did not typically express any complaints regarding congregate meal services because they are free. The results showed that it might be difficult to evaluate the quality of meal services based on the opinions of the service receivers. This study suggests it is necessary to develop multilateral evaluation methods to reflect the needs of the elderly and to improve the congregate meal services at elderly welfare centers.

The purpose of this study is to discuss plan for the development of accreditation system for instructional materials and equipment in kindergarten. Instructional materials in early childhood education are enough importance and effectiveness is high. In addition, the commercialization of materials, a number of common trends in the development of instructional materials, and these materials and ensure a qualitative judgment of the teaching and learning are required. So that can be used easily in the field to develop the instructional materials of excellent quality, maintenance, and management of a professional certification system is a demand. In this paper, the current situation in the instructional materials authentication system to examine the books have such a system, to identify the problems, to suggest preferred direction for teaching and leaning materials certification system.
Fine suspended solids from mine drainage draw attentions due to their potential adverse influences on the water quality, such as increasing turbidity and degrading aesthetic landscape. Currently, sand filter beds are adapted in some mine drainage treating systems. However, more efficient system is in demand, as the existing sand beds reveal some problems, such as frequent maintenance intervals. Various filtering mediums including fly ash, mine tailing aggregates and the sand were tested for improving the current system, using column experimental set-up. Mine drainage samples were collected from the current treating systems in the abandoned H coal mine. The experiment was run for 7 days. Suspended solids recorded as 100.9 mg/L and the value exceeds the current standard, 30 mg/L. Sand was proved to still be the optimum medium for the fine suspended solids, compared to fly ash and fly ash + sand. Mine tailing aggregates were placed at the exit of the columns, substituting gravels. The tailing aggregates is made by mine tailings and clay. Sand bed filters can also be improved by mixing granular activated carbon, which was found to be economical and efficient in the batch experiment, conducted at the same time.
Seasonal variations in the feeding behaviour of Jamunapari and Barbari goat breeds and their utilization of browse and grass nutrients was evaluated in a promising 3-tier (Leucaena leucocephala- Dichro-stachys nutan-Cenchrus ciliaris) reconstituted pasture during summer, rainy and winter season of the years 1987 and 1988. Distinct diurnal pattern of feeding was observed with both the breeds. Jamunapari goats spent significantly more time foraging during winter season (352.0 min) followed by summer (306.0 min) and least in rainy season (277.0 min). Though no significant difference was observed in the relative time spent by Barbari goats on grazing activities during summer and winter season, they spent significantly more (p < 0.05) time during rainy season as compared to other two seasons. The preference of grazing goats for certain plant species in relation to others was evident with distinct seasonal and breed variations. DM intake (g/kg $BW^{075}$) varied significantly (p < 0.05) from season to season. Among the browse. L. leucocephala was prefered over D. nutan irrespective of breed over the seasons. There was no breed difference in DM intake, or proximate composition and nutrient digestibility of ingested herbage. The available nutrient content of ingested forage was found sufficient to meet the nutrient requirements of adult goats for maintenance (NRC, 1981). The reconstituted 3-tier pasture dominated by plant species like L. leucocephala and Cenchrus species appear to have great potential to sustain the nutrient requirement of goats without adverse seasonal fluctuations in pasture quality.
As it is expected that change in trade environment has a significant impact on Korean economic growth as well as foreign trade of Korean economy we need an appropriate political response to it. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the Export Competitiveness of IT Industry to China and our trade policy. Korean balance of trade to China in 2007 records surplus of 18.9 billion dollars. However, many experts estimate unfavorable balance of trade will appear from 2010. In consideration of this condition, this study suggests a desirable trade policy for long-term maintenance of current Export Competitiveness between Korea and China. Using TSI and RCA, it analyses a Export Competitiveness of IT Industry to China from 2003 to 2007. To sum up the results, the TSI has been declining since 2005. RCA of semi-conductors has been declining since 2005 while that of communication equipment and computers has been increasing. During the analysis period, the mean RCA of semi-conductors is 55.01, which indicates that its export advantage is somewhat weak, and the mean RCA of communication equipment and computers are 227.22 and 175.83 respectively, which indicates that their export advantage is very strong. Production and export of Korea IT industry have greatly increased in quantity, but its technological quality and diversity have not been satisfactory. In particular, the base of IT industry is growing weaker due to serious dependence of core spare parts on advanced countries and transfer of simple assembly plants to China. To maintain export competitiveness of IT industry, we should pay more attention to technological improvement through more investment to the original technology for local production of core spare parts.
With the rapid expansion of the economy, consumers' interest in health has also grown and the consumption of health foods is also growing at a rapid rate. However, because of the lack of understanding and Information about health foods, there is growing discontentment societally and in relation to the consumers' individual health. This study was conducted to get consumers to use the health food soundly and provide useful information to consumer behavior researchers of health food by researching consumers' past consumption experience and recognition of health foods. 662 people over the age of 20 in the Seoul area were sampled for this study. Through the results of this study, it was revealed that 71.5% of the respondents said they consumed health foods in the past year. The people surveyed said they thought they were health on the whole(3.72) and were slightly concerned (3.30) with their health. Lastly. the results of the studying the recognition of health food, respondents believe that health foods help to maintenance of good health(3.63) recover from fatigue(3.59), prevent of disease(3.32). They also believe that it is not harmful to the body(2.85) but were concerned about additives(3.24) and side effects(3.24) The study also found consumers to think that health foods are expensive(4.03) but is not of the highest quality(2.84) and that the dosage is not exact(2.84). In addition. they believe the labeling to be accurate(2.89), the ads to be exaggerated(3.88). information about the products to be lacking(3.71) and finally refund or exchange to be difficult(3.85).
