Recently, in order to guarantee the quality of the final product from the production line, several equipments able to examine the polymer ingredients' quality are being used. Rheotruder is one of the equipments manufactured to measure the viscosity of the ingredient that is an important factor for the quality of final product. However, Rheotruder has nonlinear characteristics such as time delay which make systematic analysis difficult. In this paper, in order to enhance the performance of Rheotruder, a new scheme is introduced. It incorporates TDNN (Time Delay Neural Network) bank and Elman network to get a right decision on whether the tested ingredient is good or not. Furthermore, the proposed scheme is verified through real test execution.

It is widely recognized that ISO 9000 certification bring some profits, such as enhancement of quality system and some concerns. Since one of the major concerns is cost for certification, this paper considers the cost for ISO 9000 certification in Japanese companies through review some winning reports and case studies. Specifically, a model that describes the certification activities and their cost is derived through reviewing some winning reports in order to give a framework of cost estimation. Based on the model, we estimate the certification cost in an electric division of a company through an interview survey. Furthermore, we focused on the cost for promotion and administration as a cost for the sake only certification, because these activities will not be needed if a company does not implement ISO certification. It is concluded that this cost may vary approximately 300,000-700,000 (US$) per certification by the interview and telephone surveys to Japanese steel companies.

Chemical industry has contributed significantly to the enhancement of quality of human life, but it has been regarded as a major area of environmental problem due to the potential hazards in environment and safety. This paper examines environmental management programs of chemical industry such as RC(Responsible Care) and PRTR(Pollutant Release and Transfer Register). Through the survey of Dow Chernical's environmental management system, it is examined in detail how a leading company in chemical industry has coped with environmental problem companywide.

The full-field digital mammography (FFDM), which has been known as a digital breast imaging system, carries out more outstanding performance than the screen-film mammography in overall image quality, skin & nipple, description of pectoral muscle and expression of micro-calcification. Thus, in this thesis, I perform experiments for both the enhancement of image quality and accurate estimation of the result in question, when detecting the very tiny-sized lesions in mammography. The image of digital breast X-rays is the important diagnostic tool for detecting early breast cancer and micro calcification lesion. The experiment of how much compression rate has an effect on the result of diagnosis in the case of microcalcification lesion, with JPEG2000 40:1 compression and over 50% enlargement led to obscure or definitely unacceptable diagnostic results is performed. And in another study of assessment of PSNR degree. I recognized the importance of standardized management system in mammography, where not to mention the accurate reading of the image has the most crucial role in diagnosis

본 논문은 적응적 영상개선을 위한 전 단계로 자기상관함수를 이용한 지문 영상의 방향성 특성과 화질의 관계 분석에 관한것이다. 이를 위해서 원 영상을 방향 영상으로 변환한 실험영상을 대상으로 부 영역의 크기를 16, 32, 64, 방향성을 1, 2, 3, 4로 설정하고 화질의 척도인 방향성 누적값을 산출하였다. 또한 지문영상에 대한 화질 특성을 추출하고 최적의 부 영역과 방향성 관계를 정량적인 실험 자료로 제시하기위해 군집환 알고리즘을 이용한 분석 과정을 수행하였다.

Load effect which occurs due to the electrode structure for PDP(plasma display panel) can seriously reduce the image quality of PDP. In this paper, we propose the method of reducing load effect in presentation images, which have the possibility of load effect, by using LUT(look-up table). The proposed method enhances the image quality of PDP by correcting load effect region of the still image.

In various areas of the 4th industry, a big issue is software quality enhancement for stability and reliability of the smart software systems. After revising software promotion law at 2020, we must clearly define requirements and separate design parts and implementation parts of an all public software development contracts. In this study, we need to validate whether the final implementation of software is followed by the original design or not. To do this, we consider the design restoration through software visualization based on reverse engineering. Therefore we propose an UML design extraction and visualization method based on reverse engineering. Based on this, we may validate whether it is implemented according to the original design, and how much visualizes and includes the code the internal complexity for improvement of software quality.

최근 기업 경영에 있어 정보기술의 도입 및 전략적인 활용은 선택이 아닌 필수로 자리잡고 있다. 기업의 전략적인 목표와 정보기술 간의 상호 의존은 기업의 생존 및 성장에 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며, 이에 따라 이미 많은 기업이 지속적으로 정보기술에 투자하고 있다. 정보기술 투자 성과 관련해서는 기업 내부의 요인들과 전략들, 기업외부의 고객까지 여러 가지 복합적인 요소들이 서로 상호작용하고 있기 때문에, 각 요인들을 독립적으로 분리하여 정보기술 투자 성과에 미치는 영향력을 분석하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 연구들을 바탕으로 정보기술 투자성과에 영향을 줄 수 있는 변수들을 도출하여, 각 변수들의 관계를 수리적인 모델링을 통해 단순화시키고, 시뮬레이션 방법론을 이용하여 각 변수들의 변화에 정보기술 투자 성과는 어떻게 달라지는지를 밝혔다. 본 연구의 결과는 정보기술 투자는 서비스의 품질을 증가시켜 경제학적인 성과들에 간접적으로 영향을 주고, 정보기술 투자와 동시에 소비자 잉여는 증가되지만, 큰 투자비용으로 회사의 이익은 감소하게 된다. 그리고 시간이 지남에 따라 품질 증가에 관한 정보가 고객들 사이에 퍼져 나가게 되므로 최종적으로 기업의 수익을 증가시켜준다. 또한, 정보기술 투자 성과 극대화를 위해서는 회사가 제공하는 서비스와 소비자들의 네트워크 효과 등이 고려되어 정보기술 투자 여부를 결정하고, 회사에 맞는 정보기술 투자 전략을 세워야 함을 시뮬레이션 모형을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 구체적으로, 한 번에 많은 투자를 할 경우는 단기적인 성과는 클 것으로 기대되나, 장기적으로 좋은 성과가 이뤄지지 않는다. 그러나 정보의 확산 속도가 빠르거나 정보의 장벽이 될 수 있는 정보를 받지 못하는 소비자가 적을 경우 단기에 집중 투자 하는 것이 많은 수요를 얻을 수 있다. 또, 여러 번에 걸쳐 투자하는 경우는 적당한 주기를 가지게 될 경우 장기적으로 큰 성과를 낼 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 경제학 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 결합시켜, 각각의 한계를 모두 극복할 수 있는 방법론을 활용했다는 측면과, 정보기술 투자의 성과를 제품 품질의 매개 효과 모형에 적용하여 정보기술 투자와 기업 성과간의 관계를 보여주었다는 측면, 마지막으로 정보기술 투자 전략 및 정보의 확산 효과를 반영하여 정보기술 투자의 성과를 확인할 수 있다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.

Purpose: Recently, many quality issues are aroused in military forces, such as failures in K-series weapons, combat boots defects and 40mm ammunition explosion accident. To address these problems, the one and only government defense quality assurance agency, DTaQ(Defense Agency for Technology & Quality) tried to improve many quality assurance procedures and introduced new systems such as MRA(Manufacturing Readiness Assessment), TRA(Technology Readiness Assessment), and etc. However, as the amount of war supplies increasing every year, the resource(budget and manpower) for quality assurance is limited. Therefore, DTaQ had difficulty to handle the issue efficiently and effectively, and we propose the method to address this problem. Methods: The most popular quality assurance technique is a sampling method, in this research, we first review the many sampling techniques and compare the strength and weakness of each method. After then, we selected the most appropriate sampling techniques and applied the procedures in combat force support material and ammunition areas. Results: We can reduce the number of samples dramatically, thus the required amount of labor time and money can be saved. Also, the new sampling technique enforces the supplier to produce the product which meets the target value(desirable value). Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of two types of information quality, which are platform-oriented information quality and customer-oriented information quality, on customers' decision-making processes in the Online to offline (O2O) platform environment. Grounded in the product brokering efficiency model, which encompasses screening cost, evaluation cost, and decision quality, a model framework was developed. Furthermore, this study explores how these decision-making processes affect customer loyalty. Methods: Given that food delivery apps are the most widely used O2O service in Korea, this study targeted users of these apps for data analysis. We conducted hypothesis testing through a purposive sampling methodology focusing on food delivery app users. A Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis was conducted to analyze the data. The data collection occurred via an online survey from October to December 2021, with a total of 212 respondents participating. Results: The results of this study revealed the significant role of information quality in helping customers' decision processes while using food delivery apps. Specifically, it was found that platform-oriented information positively influences decision quality, while customer-oriented information significantly affects both the reduction of evaluation cost and the enhancement of decision quality. Additionally, the study indicated that lower evaluation costs and higher decision quality lead to increased platform loyalty. However, a reduction in screening cost did not have a significant impact on platform loyalty. Conclusion: While previous studies have overlooked the existence of two sides, service provider and user, in a platform, this research holds significance in its analysis of how information quality impacts loyalty by utilizing the two kinds of information quality. Practitioners can enhance customer loyalty to the platform by enriching customer-oriented information, thereby reducing customers' evaluation costs and encouraging more loyal usage of the platform.
