  • We consider a closed subspace ${\tilde{A}}^{{\alpha},m}_q$ (ℂ) of the Fock space Aα,mq (ℂ) of q-analytic functions with the weight ϕ(z) = -α log |z|2+|z|2m for any positive integer m. We obtain the corresponding reproducing kernel Kα,q,m(z, w) using the weighted Laguerre polynomials and the Mittag-Leffler functions. Finally, we investigate the necessary and sufficient condition on (α, q, m) such that Kα,q,m(z, w) is zero-free.

  • Let Inn(Q) denote the inner automorphism group on a quandle Q. For a subset M of Q, let c(M) denote the orbit of M under the Inn(Q)-action on Q. Then c satisfies the axioms of the closure operator. In this paper, we study the topological space Q corresponding to the topology obtained from the closure operator c.

  • In this paper, we consider the positive solution to a Cauchy problem in $\mathbb{B}^N$ of the fast diffusive equation: ${\mid}x{\mid}^mu_t={div}(\mid{\nabla}u{\mid}^{p-2}{\nabla}u)+{\mid}x{\mid}^nu^q$, with nontrivial, nonnegative initial data. Here $\frac{2N+m}{N+m+1}$ < $p$ < 2, $q$ > 1 and 0 < $m{\leq}n$ < $qm+N(q-1)$. We prove that $q_c=p-1{\frac{p+n}{N+m}}$ is the critical Fujita exponent. That is, if 1 < $q{\leq}q_c$, then every positive solution blows up in finite time, but for $q$ > $q_c$, there exist both global and non-global solutions to the problem.

Improving the drought tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L.) by exogenous application of vanillic acid and p-hydroxybenzoic acid

  • Water stress obstructs rice growth mainly by oxidative damage in biological cells to cause a reduction of leaf photosynthesis and evapotranspiration processes. In this study, exogenous application of vanillic acid (VA) and p-hydroxybenzoic acid (PHBA) to improve drought tolerance of two Oryza sativa cultivars, Q2 and Q8 was tested. The drought evaluation based on leaf phenotypes to show that both Q2 and Q8 resulted in remarkable water-stress tolerance induced by leaf spraying pretreatment of mixed solution of $50{\mu}M\;VA+50{\mu}M\;PHBA$. The mixtures of $25{\mu}M\;VA+25{\mu}M\;PHBA$ and $50{\mu}M\;VA+50{\mu}M\;PHBA$ treated on Q2 and Q8 in water deficit condition also indicated that total phenols, total flavonoids, and DPPH radical scavenging activity were significantly greater their controls. In general, the accumulation of individual phenolic acids was increased in exogenous phenolic treatments, as compared with controls. Particularly, Q2 obtained a considerable amount of endogenous PHBA after application of $50{\mu}M\;VA$, $25{\mu}M\;VA+25{\mu}M\;PHBA$, and $50{\mu}M\;VA+50{\mu}M\;PHBA$ (0.18 mg/g DW, 0.71 mg/g DW, and 1.41 mg/g DW, respectively); and a negligible content of VA (0.003 mg/g DW) appeared uniquely in the treatment of $50{\mu}M\;VA$. Similarly, Q8 also absorbed a significant quantity of PHBA in $50{\mu}M\;PHBA$, $25{\mu}M\;VA+25{\mu}M\;PHBA$, and $50{\mu}M\;VA+50{\mu}M\;PHBA$ treatments (0.15 mg/g DW, 0.15 mg/g DW, and 0.22 mg/g DW, respectively). In addition, the spraying $50{\mu}M\;PHBA$ and $25{\mu}M\;VA+25{\mu}M\;PHBA$ on Q8 leaves induced similar amount of drought tolerance of Q2 and Q8 were improved, paralleled with the increased amounts of endogenous phenolics revealed that VA and PHBA played an important role to enhance drought tolerance in rice.

The levels of drought tolerance of Q2 and Q8 were improved, paralleled with the increased amounts of endogenous phenolics revealed that VA and PHBA played an important role to enhance drought tolerance in rice.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 정규 기저를 이용한 역원 알고리즘인 IT 알고리즘과 TYT 알고리즘을 개선한 GF(q$^{m}$ )*(q = 2$^n$)에서의 효율적인 역원 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 작은 n에 대해 GF(q)*의 원소에 대한 역원을 선행 계산으로 저장하고, m-1을 몇 개의 인수와 나머지로 분해함으로써 역원 알고리즘에 필요한 곱셈의 수를 줄일 수 있는 방법이다. 즉, 작은 양의 데이터에 대한 메모리 저장 공간을 이용하여, GF(q$^{m}$ )*에서의 역원을 계산하는 데 필요한 곱셈의 수를 줄일 수 있음을 보여준다.

Studies on the fungicidal action and its physico-chemical properties of phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate (Phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate의 살균작용 및 이의 이화학적 성질에 관한 연구)

  • In order to investigate the fungicidal activities against various plant pathogenes, diminishing effect of plant transpiration, phytotoxicities, vapor effect and the rate of reduction by ultraviolet rays of phenylmercuric 8-oxyquinolinate(P.M.Q), this experiments were undertaken under various laboratory conditions. 1. Inhibitory activity on the spore germination of this chemical was shown less effective than that of P.M.A..(Table 2, Table 3, Table 4, Table 5 and Table 6) Also, P.M.Q. was resulted a somewhat higher inhibitory activity on the hyphae growth than P.M.A. (Table 7). 2. In the diminishing effect of plant transpiration, 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate(oxine sulfate) was more strong inhibitory at first than P.M.Q., while, at last, P.M.Q. was more strong inhibitory in comparison with oxine sulfate(Table 8, Fig. 1 and Table 9). 3. P.M.Q. was shown less injury on the germination of rice plant seeds and the emergence of their roots than P.M. A.(Table 10). Injuries was not observed on the rice seedlings and soy-bean seedlings sprayed with 40 ppm of this chemical. 4. P.M.A. had more inhibitory effects on the mycelial growth of phytopathogenes than P.M.Q. on the vapor effect (Table 11, Fig. 2). 5. Biological activity and chemical decomposition rate of P.M.A. were greatly reduced by exposure of this compound to ultraviolet rays. But, P.M.Q. was only slightly affected by similar treatment(Table 12, Fig. 3, Table 13 and Fig. 4). From the above results, this chemical will be a promising fungicide adding fungitoxicities against various phytopatho genes, diminishing effect of plant transpiration and physico-stability.

Electrical and optical characeristics of ZnS:Mn thin-film electroluminescent(TFEL) devices grown by atomic layer epitaxy (Atomic layer epitaxy(ALE) 방법으로 제작된 ZnS:Mn 박막전계발광소자의 전기, 광학적 특성)

  • The ZnS:Mn thin film electroluminescent(TFEL) devices fabricated by ALE system were investigated. Yellow-orange light emission was observed when the applied voltage exceeded 134 V and luminance increased sharply as the applied voltage increased. Luminance of 568 Cd/c $m^{2}$ was obtained under 1 KHz sinusoidal voltage wave application at the peak applied voltage of 230 V. The peak wavelength of the emissionwas 577 nm. The C-V, Q-V, $Q_{t}$ - $F_{p}$ , L- $Q_{cond}$, and V- $Q_{pol}$ have been measured under theapplication of the trapezoidal wave with its pulse width varying 0 to 75 .mu.sec. The phoshor and the insulator capacitance of the TFEL device under test were 24.3 nF/c $m^{2}$ and 9 nF/c $m^{2}$, respectively. It was observed that the threshold voltage changed from 137V to 100V as the pulse width varied from 0 to 75 .mu.sec. The L- $Q_{cond}$ characteristics showed that the light emission increased in proportion to the $Q_{cond}$. The luminance increased from 386 Cd/ $m^{2}$ to 607 Cd/ $m^{2}$ when the $Q^{+}$$_{cond}$ increased from 1.3 .mu.C/c $m^{2}$ to 2.3 .mu.C/c $m^{2}$. The V- $Q_{pol}$ characteristics showed that the V was inversely proportional to $Q_{pol}$./. th/ was inversely proportional to $Q_{pol}$./. pol/./.

  • We define injective and projective representations of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}$. Then we show that a representation $M_1\longrightarrow[50]^{f1}M_2\longrightarrow[50]^{f2}M_3$ of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}$ is projective if and only if each $M_1,\;M_2,\;M_3$ is projective left R-module and $f_1(M_1)$ is a summand of $M_2$ and $f_2(M_2)$ is a summand of $M_3$. And we show that a representation $M_1\longrightarrow[50]^{f1}M_2\longrightarrow[50]^{f2}M_3$ of a quiver $Q={\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}{\rightarrow}{\bullet}$ is injective if and only if each $M_1,\;M_2,\;M_3$ is injective left R-module and $ker(f_1)$ is a summand of $M_1$ and $ker(f_2)$ is a summand of $M_2$.

  • Let p, ${\ell}$ be distinct odd primes, q be an odd prime power with gcd(q, p) = gcd(q,${\ell}$) = 1, and m, n be positive integers. In this paper, we determine all self-dual, self-orthogonal and complementary-dual negacyclic codes of length $2p^{n{\ell}m}$ over the finite field ${\mathbb{F}}_q$ with q elements. We also illustrate our results with some examples.
