This study intends to analyze the general printed encyclopedia published and circulated in Korea. The main purpose it is to offer extensive information helping users or librarians to select superior encyclopedia. 4 printed encyclopedia published and circulated in Korea since 1993 are selected for this purpose And they are analyzed on the basis of 6 evaluation standards (purpose & scope, authority, accessibility, clarity & readability, format and special features & cost). Especially, 4 printed encyclopedia among the best American encyclopedia having long history were also co-analyzed to certificate the validity of the evaluative standards.

This paper is to develop an integrated environment software on MS-DOS for linear programming. For the purpose, First, the linear programming integrated environment software satisfying both the educational purpose and the professional purpose was designed and constructed on MS-DOS. Second, the text editor with big capacity was developed. The arithmetic form analyser was also developed and connected to the test editor so that users can input data in the arithmetic form. As a result, users can learn and perform linear programming in the linear programming integrated environment software.

Results of RF compatibility test between KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose SATellite) and TTC(Tracking, Telemetry, and Command) station are described. S/C(Spacecreft) RF Test, telemetry test, command test, ranging test, and tracking receiver test were performed with respect to pass/fail criteria. To provide physical RF interface between KOMPSAT and TTC equipment, direct low cable and antenna-to-antenna interface were implemented. Through RF compatibility test, it was fully demonstrated that KOMPSAT and TTC equipment are functionally workable.

The most desirable method for the solution of solidification problems in castings must be the one which combines accuracy, simplicity, and low computer usage cost. The purpose of the present study is to develop a method which includes all these advantages. The purpose of the present research was approached by the introduction of two methods: (1) A pour-out test, employed with very high purity aluminum, for the purpose of obtaining accurate solidification data in L-sections; and (2) an numerical technique, using the cubic spline function for defining solidification curves.

In this study surface modeling .method with 3D curve net is proposed. For surface modeling, ship hull was divided into several parts, Generated surface was loaded general purpose CAD program through IGES file format, and the quality of generated surface model was checked by CATIA's internal function. Lastly it is tried to find a method for improving the accuracy of surface connection by using the blending method in CATIA and the result was discussed.

The purpose of this study is to examine meaning, factors, and diagnostic method of underachievers in mathematics and to propose the idea of the individualized teaching method for underachievers. For the first purpose, previous literatures on underachievers are reviewed. For the second purpose, this study described the procedure of developing the individualized instructional program, and the method of diagnosing and prescribing errors in mathematics. In the future, individualized instructional program need to be developed based on correct diagnosis of factors effecting under achievement for the effective teaching of underachievers.

Usually there are two ways in the method of accounting on tax purpose. One is the method of accrual basis accounting, the other is the method of cash basis accounting. Accrual basis accounting is used broadly not only in financial purpose, but also tax purpose. But, that method is not fit at some special case. For example, lawyer, bank, consulting, small business would like to use the method of cash basis accounting because it is more convenient in book-keeping than the method of accrual basis. I insist on regulating this cash basis accounting.

This study investigates the effects of the purpose of fishery firms' social contributions on consumers' purchase intention as a mediator or their fishery firms' brand evaluation. We surveyed 300 consumers in order to empirically test the suggested relationship. The purpose of fishery firms' social contributions was divided into social contribution activities and public interest marketing strategies. Fishery firms' brand evaluation was divided into three aspects including brand awareness, brand image, and brand loyalty. The results showed that the purpose of fishery firms' social contributions significantly affect consumers' purchase intention, brand loyalty as well as brand image except brand awareness. Fishery firms' brand evaluation significantly affect consumers' purchase intention. This study suggests that social contribution activities and public interest marketing strategies are essential for the positive brand evaluation of fishery firms.

In recent highly competitive business environment, collaboration has become one of the important business strategies for companies to survive and/or prosper. There are many different types of collaboration strategies, and it is crucial for companies to select the right ones according to the types of collaboration they require. To select the right type of collaboration options for business, in the past research, there have been two important criteria to classify collaboration types, namely governance (who makes key decisions - one kingpin participant or all players?) and membership (can anyone participate, or just select players?). In this research, we add a new classification criterion, recognition of collaboration purpose, which means whether collaborators know or do not know the purpose of collaboration in advance. Recently, we see many cases in which social media data are used in many unknown purposes a priori. In this research, we add such cases to develop new classification model.
