대사증후군을 동반한 허혈성 뇌혈관 질환 환자의 맥파속도에 관한 연구 (Determinants of the Brachial-ankle Pulse Wave Velocity in Patients with Metabolic Syndrome and Ischemic Stroke)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity and the features of metabolic syndrome, and differences according to sex in patients diagnosed cerebral infarction. The study group comprised 61 patients over age 30 who were diagnosed cerebral infarction, accompanied with metabolic syndrome. The brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity, blood pressure, lipid profiles, fasting blood glucose, body mass index were measured. Also we checked past history of patients. Then we analyzed the association between brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity and the features of metabolic syndrome. Pearson correlation analysis reflected the variables affecting the brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity as follows : Age, SBP(systolic blood pressure), DBP(diastolic blood pressure), FBS(fasting blood glucose) were positively correlated. As a result of regression analysis, in patients with cerebral infarction accompanied with metabolic syndrome, the brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity is affected by age to men, SBP, FBS, DBP to women. The brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity is not affected by the components of metabolic syndrome, except blood pressure, FBS, in patients with ischemic stroke.

Peripheral Blood Flow Velocity and Peripheral Pulse Wave Velocity Measured Using a Clip-type Pulsimeter Equipped with a Permanent Magnet and a Hall Device

  • We measured radial arterial pulse signals using a prototype of a clip-type pulsimeter equipped with a permanent magnet and a Hall device, which produced signals through a voltage-detecting circuit. The systolic peak time and the reflective peak time for a temporally pulsed signal were analyzed for an arbitrary pulse wave at one position of a small permanent magnet. The measured value of the peripheral pulse wave velocity was about 1.25-1.52 m/s, demonstrating the accuracy of this new method. To measure the peripheral blood flow velocity, we simultaneously connected the radial artery pulsimeter to a photoplethysmography meter. The average value of the peripheral blood flow velocity was about 0.27-0.50 m/s.

  • 본 연구에서는 집게형 맥진기와 심전도계를 이용하여 전기적인 심전도 파형과 요골동맥파형을 동시 측정하여 얻은 맥파전달속도를 분석하였다. 두 신호의 동시 측정에 의한 맥파전달속도는 평균 6 m/s의 값을 보여 주었으며, ECG 파형과 홀소자 맥진파형으로 동시 측정한 방법은 기존 방법들 보다 정확하게 맥파전달속도를 측정할 수 있는 새로운 방법임을 입증하였다. 따라서 이결과는 한방의료기기인 맥진기에서 측정된 데이터를 임상적으로 활용할 수 있음을 보인다.

  • Recently, non-destructive tests are getting popular in evaluating concrete properties without braking specimens. Among several NDT methods, P-wave velocity measurement technique has been widely used to evaluate the stiffness and strength of concrete. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors influencing P-wave velocity measured by impact-resonant method and ultrasonic pulse velocity method, such as moisture content of concrete, existence and size of coarse aggregates, sensor and sampling rate. Test results show that rod-wave velocity measured by impact-resonant method and ultrasonic pulse velocity are significantly affected by the moisture content of concrete, i.e., the lower moisture content, the lower velocity. Moisture content influences rod-wave velocity stronger than ultrasonic pulse velocity. Rod-wave velocity is faster in concrete than in mortar and is also faster in concrete containing small size aggregates. Sensor and sampling rate have little influence on velocity.

  • 1. Objectives To evaluate effects of bee venom acupuncture on cardiovascular system and differences according to each constitution. 2. Methods Heart rate variability, pulse wave and the velocity of cerebral blood flow were measured before bee venom acupuncture(BVA), right after and after 30 minuets, had been applied to 20 subjects. 3. Results 1. BVA did not have effects on measurement variables of heart rate variability. 2. BVA had effects on pulse wave, showing total time, radial augmentation index up and height of percussion wave, time to percussion wave, sum of pulse pressure down. 3. BVA did not have effects on the cerebral blood flow velocity when considering not Sasang Constitution. 4. Considering Sasang Constitution, BVA demonstrates different responses in time to preincisura wave, mean blood flow velocity, peak systolic velocity and end diastolic velocity. 4.Conclusion From those results, the following conclusions are obtained. Cause BVA alters pulse wave and makes differences in the cerebral blood flow velocity according to Sasang Constitution. Various methods of BVA treatment are needed considering Sasang Constitution.

  • 영구자석과 홀소자로 구비된 집게형 맥진기를 이용하여 목 부위의 경추동맥의 맥진파형과 손목 부위의 요골동맥 맥진파형을 각각 측정하였다. 두 개의 맥진파형을 비교하여 얻은 맥파전달시간과 맥파전달속도를 분석하였다. 맥파전달속도는 기존의 방식으로 측정한 값과 유사한 약 8.5 m/s으로 나타났다. 재현성과 신뢰성이 있는 한방의료기기인 집게형 맥진기로 얻은 맥파전달속도를 기준하여 동맥경화도를 예측할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

중풍후유증 환자에 있어서 맥파전달속도와 초음파 족욕에 따른 상관관계에 관한 임상적 연구 (The Correlation analysis of Hydrotherapy and pulse wave velocity in patients with sequelae of CVA)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to know the clinical effects of hydrotherapy based Ultrasonic spa using SoPung-Tang on pulse wave velocity in patients with sequelae of CVA. Methods : PWV(Pulse wave velocity), Bio Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Pressure were investigated in 20 patients(Experimental group 13, Control group 7) who have been in Semyung Oriental medicine hospital from December 2005 to February 2006. Results : 1. In experimental group, Rt PWV diminished 4.8%, Lt PWV 5.1%. 2. In control group, Rt PWV diminished 3.3%, Lt PWV 1.8%. Conclusion : Hydrotherapy based Ultrasonic spa using SoPung-Tang showed useful effects in patients with sequelae of CVA.

수분 함유량이 콘크리트의 종파 속도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Influence of Moisture Content on Longitudinal Wave Velocity in Concrete)

  • 최근 초음파속도법과 충격반향기법 등과 같이 탄성파를 이용한 비파괴검사 방법이 콘크리트의 강도나 탄성계수를 결정하는데 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 하지만 탄성파 속도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 인자들이 고려되지 않은 상태에서 비파괴검사가 행해지고 있어 실제로 만족할 만한 결과를 주지 못하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 다양한 영향인자들 중에서 특히 콘크리트의 수분함유량이 종파 속도에 미치는 영향정도를 실험을 통해 조사하였다. 콘크리트 내부의 수분함유량이 감소하면, 즉 콘크리트가 건조해지면 종파 속도는 점점 감소하며, 충격반향기법에 의해 측정된 막대파 속도가 초음파 속도보다 수분의 영향을 더 많이 받는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기건양생하에서는 재령이 증가함에 따라 수분함유량이 감소하게 되어 콘크리트의 종파 속도는 거의 증가하지 않는 반면에 강도는 점차적으로 증가하는 경향을 보이기 때문에 종파 속도와 콘크리트 강도의 상관관계 설정시 이를 반드시 고려해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

산양삼약침이 정상 중년여성의 심박변이도(HRV), 맥파속도(PWV)에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Mountain Cultivated Ginseng Pharmacopuncture on Heart Rate Variability(HRV), Pulse Wave Velocity(PWV) in Middle Aged Women)

  • Objectives : The aim of this experiment is to know the effect of mountain cultivated ginseng pharmacopuncture on heart rate variability(HRV), pulse wave velocity(PWV) in middle aged women. Methods : We investigated on 20 healthy Middle Aged women volunteers. First, we measured their heart rate variability(HRV), pulse wave velocity(PWV) and then mountain cultivated ginseng pharmacopuncture 20cc were injected on them. After 30 minutes, we measured heart rate variability(HRV), pulse wave velocity(PWV) again. As a result, method of one-group pretest-posttes design were used for evaluation. Results : 1. In HRV, MeanHRV is significantly decreased from 69.15 to 63.34 after injection. 2. MeanRR is significantly increased from 877.20 to 962.10 after injection. SDNN is significantly increased from 32.56 to 41.34 after injection. 3. PNN50 is significantly decreased after injection. RNSSD, SDSD, TP, VLF is significantly increased after injection. 4. Stress resistance ability is significantly increased from 37.55 to 44.60 after injection. 5. In PWV, E-R, E-L, H-R, H-L is significantly decreased after injection. Conclusions : Effect of mountain cultivated ginseng pharmacopuncture on heart rate variability(HRV) increased adaptability of autonomic nervous system and on pulse wave velocity(PWV) decreased arterial stiffness.

충격공진법 및 복합법을 이용한 콘크리트의 강도 평가 기법 (Evaluation Technique of Concrete Strength Using Impact-Resonance and Combined Method)

  • Among several non-destructive testing methods, ultrasonic pulse velocity method and rebound index method have been widely used for the evaluation of concrete strength. However, such methods might not provide accurate estimated results since factors influencing the relationship between strength and either ultrasonic pulse velocity or rebound index are not considered. In this paper, the evaluation method of concrete strength using rod-wave velocity measured by impact-resonance method is proposed. A basic equation is obtained by the linear regression of velocity vs, strength data at specific age and then, aging factor is employed in the equation to consider the difference of the increasing rate between wave velocity and strength. Strengths predicted by the proposed equation agree well with test results. Furthermore, the combined method of rod-wave velocity and rebound index is proposed.
