수분 함량별 부풀성 보정식 설정 (Establishment of Correction Equation for Filling Volumn according to Moisture Content)

  • To correct the difference of filling volumn for various cut tobacco and puffed stem according to moisture contents, correction equation was estamated by a simple regression analysis. The $R^2$(coefficient of determination) of correction equation was above 0.95. To verify the precision of correction equation, we predicted correction equation of other samples. The filling volumns by the difference of $1\%$ moisture content were $0.018\;~\;0.022cc/g$ (cut tobacco) and 0.060cc/g (puffed stem). The precision of correction equation for various cut tobacco was very high, but that of puffed stem was low due to quality deviation of row stem according to a season.

잎담배 및 제품담배의 재떨어짐에 관한 연구 (Ash Drop Measuring on Tobacco Leaf Grades and Brand Cigarettes)

  • In this study, we have investigated the natural and puffing combustibility of cigarette brands and the compulsory ash-drop, and analysed factors related to the materials. Cigarette combustibility was greatly affected by the tobacco weight in cigarettes rod. Combustion rate of 4AOR cigarette made by flue-cured tobacco was 5.02 $^{mm}/_{min}\;and\;10\%$ faster than 1BO cigarette. Combustion pattern has interrelation with sugars, chlorine and ash contents among tobacco components. Combustion rate of 4DL, flue-cured tobacco was 55 seconds faster than 1CL tobacco extremely much in sugars contents, and ash drop was maintained at $21\%$ longer. Combustion time and burning rate were fast in cigarette made by expanded tobacco slice and tobacco stem and the formation of ash was poor. The length of puffed ash drop of expanded tobacco slice and tobacco stem were 18.6 mm and 25.2 mm and these forced ash drop length were 3.8 mm and 4.9 mm respectively. Puffed burning rate of general cigarette was $14.3\%$ faster than static burning rate and super slim type cigarettes was $21.3\%$ faster. Combustion rate and ash drop of domestic and foreign cigarette brands were quite different depending on tar level and cigarette types. The lower tar level, the faster combustion rate and the shorter ash drop.

잎담배 성분(成分)이 평형수분(平衡水分)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Influence of the Hygroscopic Components in the Tobacco Leaves on the Equilibrium Moisture Contents)

  • 국내산(國內産) 황색종(黃色種)과 버어리종(種), 판상엽(板狀葉), 주맥(主脈) 평형수분(平衡水分), 전당(全糖) 및 수추출물(水抽出物) 등을 분석(分析) 측정(測定)하여, 상호관계(相互關係)를 검토(檢討)하여 얻은 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하연 다음과 같다. 1. 잎담배를 품종별(品種別)로 $20^{\circ}C$, RH60%조건(條件)에서 72시간경과(經過)시키면 평형수분(平衡水分)에 도달(到達)하게 되는데 주맥(主脈)이 13.2%로 가장 높다. 2. 담배 원료(原料)의 상대습도별(相對濕度別)로 흡습되는 속도(速度)는 주맥(主脈)이 가장 빠르며 버어리종(種)은 느리다. 3. 황색종(黃色種)의 등급별(等級別) 함수분(含水分)의 변화(變化)는 후엽(厚葉) 1등(等) 3등(等) 5등(等)순이며 박엽(薄葉) 5등(等)이 가장 느리다. 이 같은 결과(結果)는 등급별(等級別)로 전당함량(全糖含量)과 관계(關係)가 깊은 것으로 추정(推定)된다. 4. 온습도별 흡습(吸濕) 시간(時間)에 따른 함수분(含水分)과의 관계(關係)는 황색종(黃色種) NC-82 (H. 3)과 버어리종(種) Br-21(H. 3)은 동일(同一)한 상대습도(相對濕度)에서 온도변화에 따라서 함수분(含水分)은 황색종(黃色種)이 버어리종(種)보다 높았고, 온도가 높을때 증가(增加)했다. 5. 잎담배 품종별(品種別) 수추출물(水抽出物)과 흡습능(吸濕能)과의 상관관계(相關關係)는 잎담배의 수추출물(水抽出物)이 많은 황색종(黃色種)이 버어리종(種) 보다 많았고 등급별(等級別)로는 1등(等)이 3등(等)보다 많았다. 6. 잎담배의 품종별(品種別), 등급별(等級別) 전당함량(全糖含量)과 흡습능의 상관관계는 전당함량이 많은 황색종(黃色種) 후엽(厚葉) 1등(等) 평형수분(平衡水分)이 높아, 전당(全糖)과 평형수분(平衡水分)과의 높은 정의 상관관계(相關關係)를 나타내었다.
