Objectives: In the Republic of Korea (ROK), the notified incidence of tuberculosis in foreign-born individuals (NITFBI) has increased recently, as has the rate of multidrug-resistant (MDR) and rifampicin-resistant (RR) tuberculosis in foreigners staying in the ROK. As Jeju Province in ROK has a no-visa entry policy, control programs for NITFBI should be consolidated. The aim was to evaluate the status of NITFBI, with a focus on the distribution of MDR/RR tuberculosis by nationality. Methods: Data on tuberculosis incidence in individuals born in Jeju Province and in foreign-born individuals were extracted from the Korean Statistical Information Service of Statistics Korea, and the Infectious Disease Surveillance Web Statistics of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, respectively. Results: Among all notified incident cases of tuberculosis, the proportion of NITFBI increased from 1.46% in 2011 to 6.84% in 2017. China- and Vietnam-born individuals accounted for the greatest proportion of the 95 cases of NITFBI. Seven cases of MDR/RR tuberculosis were found, all involving patients born in China. Conclusions: In Jeju Province, ROK, NITFBI might become more common in the near future. Countermeasures for controlling active tuberculosis in immigrants born in high-risk nations for tuberculosis should be prepared in Jeju Province, since it is a popular tourist destination.

During disaster response, prioritization of limited resources is one of the most important bust challenging tasks. At the same time, it is imperative to timely provide the rescuers with the adequate equipment to facilitate lifesaving operations. However, supply of high demand equipment was insufficient during the initial phase of disaster response, challenging lifesaving operations in the case of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. In respond to the Haiti Earthquake, spatial information of the geographic area was not sufficient to support the search and rescue operations in the early phase of disaster response. However, with the help of civilians, information such as road names, infrastructure damage, and victim locations were updated into the spatial data repository. At the same time, resource outside of the disaster affected zone converges into the area to assist the response efforts, which is the effect of convergence that often made resource coordination challenging in large scale disasters. To efficiently collect information and utilize the converging resources, this paper proposes a flexible data repository for information update for equipment utilization in large scale disaster response scenarios.

In Korea, the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) has been introduced. For secure information transmission and identification, the electronic signature authorization system of a certificate-based is built, and then the service provide.The certificate is stored in location what users can easily access and copy. Thus, there is a risk that can be stolen by malware or web account hacking. In addition, private key passwords can be exposed by the logging tool, after keyboard security features are disabled. Each of these security weaknesses is a potential conduit for identity theft, property/asset theft, and theft of the actual certificates. The present study proposes a method to prevent the private key file access illegally. When a certificate is stored, the private key is encrypted by the dependent element of the device, and it is stored securely. If private key leakage occurs, the retrieved key could not be used on other devices.

Objective : A pilot project entitled '50s mental health screening project' was conducted in Seoul. As a part of this project, we conducted surveys to obtain the opinions of psychiatrists regarding mental health screenings. Methods : A questionnaire was mailed to members registered with the Korean Neuropsychiatric Association, which enquired about the '50s mental health screening project'. Results: A majority (90.9%) of the subjects agreed on the purpose and implementation of the project. However, there were fewer individuals that actually showed the intent to participate (65.8%). The mean age of the group with the intention to participate was higher compared to the group with no intention to participate. The factors that negatively affected the intent to participate included prejudice and discrimination against psychiatry (3.795), low health insurance reimbursement (3.784), and inconvenience of reporting to public health centers (3.664). The most appropriate method that scored the highest for screening mental health was face-to-face consultation with a psychiatrist (3.889). Most of the participants agreed on the method of a self-reported survey along with an interview of psychiatrist (84.9%). Conclusion : Subjects were concerned about prejudice and discrimination against psychiatry, low health insurance reimbursement, and inconvenience of reporting to public health centers. These problems need to be supplemented. Face-to-face consultation with a psychiatrist may be considered an appropriate method for future mental health screening.

In this study VOD usage patterns(VOD use and paid amount) of IPTV users were investigated reflecting the level of media use characteristics such as TV viewing time, star preference, and genre preference. Also the impact of media using characteristics and the evaluation of guide channel on the intention to use VOD was analyzed. The web survey was conducted against the respondents who have used VOD and guide channel. The results are as follows. Among the media usage characteristics, star preference has the impact on the VOD use, while genre preference has relation to the willingness to pay for VOD. Secondly, the intention to view the guide channel, entertainment of the channel, and the users' genre preference have significant impacts on the intention to use VOD. Therefore, it is necessary to raise the viewing rate of guide channel by providing the customized promotion strategy and diverse events based on the analysis of VOD usage.

This study is based on social needs for green healing spaces assumed to enhance mental health in a city. This study proposes development directions through the analysis of modern social recognition factors for neighborhood gardens. As a research method, web information data was collected using Textom among big data tools. Text Mining was conducted to extract elements and analyze their relationship through keyword analysis, network analysis, and cluster analysis. As a result, first, the healing space and the healing environment were creating an eco-friendly healthy environment in a space close to the neighborhood within the city. Second, neighborhood gardens included projects and activities that involved government, local administration, and citizens by linking facilities as well as living culture and urban environments. These gardens have been reinforced through green welfare and service programs. In conclusion, friendly gardens in the neighborhood for the purpose of public interest, which are beneficial to mental health, are green infrastructures as a healing environment that can produce positive effects.

Services take place in Internet environment, a formation of the trust relationship between user and service provider for services. Different authentication schemes such as using Certificate of Public Key Infrastructure authentication and using ID/PW for a simple user authentication have been proposed for trust relationship. In addition, in the case of electronic financial transactions, transaction integrity and non-repudiation features are provided. These services are provided in Internet environment, use various measures to ensure service safety. However, it was difficult to prevent attacks using existing security technology because of emergence of MITB attack that manipulate the memory area of the Web browser and social engineering attacks such as phishing/pharming, requires application of new security technologies became. In this paper, we propose a concept of smart secure-pad, and utilize it safely formed a trust relationship between user and service provider, a model has been proposed to ensure safety of data transmission. Proposed model's security evaluation results show security against to MITB attack and phishing/pharming that can't be prevent attack using existing security technology. In addition, service provider can easily apply the model in safe environment can provide Internet service using provided representative services applying the proposed model.

XBRL is fundamentally defined as a structure that enterprises expand based on KGAAP 2.1 developed by the Korea branch of XBRL. Each enterprise selects its type of business and must check and choose the tag suitable to each enterprise. Since a complicated part such as expanding tag exists, there is a difficulty to prepare document through the step of tag expansion and data input. Although the expressive way of style provides the standards using the presentation structure and label structure provided fundamentally by XBRL, there is a complicated problem of using XBRL Processor. The electronic public disclosure system of the Financial Supervisory Service (DART) and Korea Exchange (KIND, KEDIS) use the Markup Language of SGML, XML and XBRL as format language. The procedure of defining document and process method vary in accordance with the characteristics of each language. This study analyzes the effect by step in accordance with format language of each electronic disclosure system and studies a direction of format language.

Recently, the development of the information-communications industry has created a new paradigm of the ubiquitous and the smart environments. An USN is a typical technology for constructing a ubiquitous environments. But the USN technologies applied in practice have a lot of problems and to solve these problems that this study was to build a test bed. For the creation of the needs of USN technology, we suggest a method and service of monitoring of road hazards combining the USN and the Geographic Information System(GIS). We conduct making the USN equipment relevant provisions surveys, making installation guidelines, construction system and real-time testing. This study is capable of the management of public facilities, real-time monitoring of accident and the environment data and is expected to be expanded to a 3D facility management combineded with BIM in the future.

The A low-cost carriers(LCC)' website represents their public face to the world. Futhermore, distribution through their own websites is generally regarded as the being most cost effective for airlines The Internet website has become an effective marketing vehicle for low-cost carriers(LCC). The objective of this study was to examine theoretical relationship of website quality, e-satisfaction, e-trust, and e-loyalty to the low-cost carriers' website. The study sample included respondents who had visited any LCC websites in the last 12 months. Data were collected by conducting a web-based survey to maintain respondents' anonymity and overcome time and place constraints. From the 334 usable data obtained, hypotheses are tested using structural equation modeling. The results indicate that website quality, e-satisfaction, and e-trust are antecedents of e-loyalty in loyalty relationships between passengers and low-cost carriers' websites. Website quality positively influences e-satisfaction, e-trust while e-satisfaction. However, contrary to our expectation, e-satisfaction has a negative effect on e-trust. Managerial implications are provided following presentation of the findings.
