With the recent increase in interest in climate change issues, the use of bicycles is complementing public transportation and attracting attention as one of the eco-friendly means of transportation. Daejeon Metropolitan City has been operating Tashu, a public bicycle, since 2008. This study empirically analyzed the spatial characteristics that affect the use of public bicycles by grasping the current status and characteristics of public bicycles and applying spatial econometrics analysis, an analysis model that considers the spatial dependence of spatial data. In addition, a comparative analysis was performed by deriving the results of analyzing six models in terms of rental, return, peak time, non-peak time, weekday, and weekend based on the spatial error model identified as the optimal spatial econometrics model. The analysis model results showed that significant spatial characteristics differed according to the type of public bicycle use. In general, the use of public bicycles was high in areas with a high proportion of young people, a high number of public transportation users, good access to universities and rivers, and relatively low land use mix, and high proportion of apartments. These results indicated that public bicycles are used for commuting purposes on weekdays and leisure purposes on weekends, and if the convenience of using bicycles is improved, the use of public bicycles can be further increased.

This study aims to analyze the intention of public library use of citizens by applying Ajzen's extended theory of planned behavior (ETPB). A questionnaire survey was conducted to identify the relationship between personal characteristics, factors from ETPB, such as attitude, subject norm, and perceived behavioral control, and the intention of public library use, Library knowledge was also added as an additional independent factor in this study. The results showed that attitude and library knowledge were more important factors than others. Subject norm and perceived behavioral control had also positive effects on the intention, Additionally, some personal characteristics, such as age, educational background, and household income, and public library use experience made significant differences in the intention. Based on the results, this study made some suggestions for expanding the scope of public library users.

Housing consumers prefer high-rise mixed-use apartments because of one-stop living style, and high quality of life. This study investigated the residents community with the residents who lived in the apartments and the future residents who will live in the apartments to investigate the usage of the public spaces and the influence of the space to form housing culture of residents family community. All data were taken from the response of two hundred forty three questionnaire to be gathered during 20th of June through 24th of August in 2003. Data were analyzed with percentages, means, t-test, and variance analysis using SPSS/PC+. Residents in four high-rise mixed-use apartments feels that the public space in the apartments were mainly provided by their convenience of the construction companies not for the residents. Physical conditions of public space in high-rise mixed-use apartments should be environmentally friendly housing space in which nature and human can be coexisted. It also should be high-tech system housing with which SOHO can be operated. And different custom-made spaces which the residents' needs can be satisfying should be provided. The public space should be recommended to be multi-purposed room because the space will be differentiated with the circumstances of the area, the residents' age differences, and the variety of the family's life style. Moreover, the various programs should be supplied to run the public space efficiently.

The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the use of superior general hospitals on public holidays by using the medical use model (Dutton's medical use model) with the medical panel data. The study found that 34.2% of superior general hospital emergency rooms were used on public holidays and the factors which made statistically significant influences on the use of superior general hospital emergency rooms on public holidays were whether patients were operated or emergency care and inspection etc. Also, there was a difference depending on whether the type of establishment of the medical insititution is national or private. In other words, patients who received emergency care and examinations were found to make more frequent visit to hospital emergency room on pubic holiday, compared to patients who underwent surgery and those who visited emergency rooms in the private superior general hospital did so, compared to those who visited emergency room in the national general hospital(OR, 4.4, 3.386, respectively). Therefore, it is necessary to consider the introduction of integrated care of health and social care medical service that focuses on primary care in Denmark, which focuses on patients, and pre-The Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale(pre-CTAS) in the UK.

The purpose of this study is to explore factors that affect millennials and generation Z customers' perception on intention to recommend to use the digital payment services and invesetigate factors that affect perception on sustainable growth of the digital payment services. This study applied the following research questions: i) how perceived brand value, easy to use, personalization, open to public, and social value affect intention to recommend to use the digital payment services and ii) how perceived public policy, promotional strategy, and prspects affect intention to recommend to use the digital payment services to others. This study conducted an online survey. This study applied factor, ANOVA, and regression analysis to test hypotheses. The results of this study found that effects of personalization, open to public, and social value on intention to recommend the service showed significance in the case of millennials, while effects of brand value, easy to use, and open to publis on intention to recommend the service showed significance in the case of generation Z. The results provide managerial and policy implications on how to apply better strategies and pepare policies to enhance adoption of the digital payment service in cases of millennials and generation Z.

Administrative city has been developed step by step aiming to being a public transport-oriented new city. In spite of its primary goal, administrative city is dominated by car-oriented tansportaion system because the supply of public transportation has not been adequately and timely performed. In this study, we investigate the current situation related to (public) transportation use in administrative city. Also, we examine the issues of traffic system through a survey on residents' consciousness about public transportation use. Additionally, the analysis of demand elasticity according to the change of the conditions of using public transportation and passenger car is conducted for passenger car users. As a result, it is analyzed that as the neighborhood is more stabilized after the completion of development the resistance to the abandonment of passenger car is higher when the tide demand control method is introduced. Therefore, it is concluded that pre-emptive public transportation supply and the management of car demand management are necessary for the activation of public transportation in Administrative city.

As a result of the study, the main mechanisms and systems of digital technologies for the economic development of the region in the system of digitalization of public administration were analyzed.

Expectations for artificial intelligence technology are increasing, and its utility value is growing, leading to active use in the public sector. The use of artificial intelligence technology in the public sector has a positive impact on aspects such as improving public work efficiency and service quality, enhancing transparency and reliability, and contributing to the development of technology and industries. For these reasons, major countries including Korea are actively developing and using artificial intelligence in the public sector. However, artificial intelligence also presents issues such as bias, inequality, and infringement of individuals' right to self-determination, which are evident even in its utilization in the public sector. Especially the use of artificial intelligence technology in the public sector has significant societal implications, as well as direct implications on limiting and infringing upon the rights of citizens. Therefore, careful consideration is necessary in the introduction and utilization of such technology. This paper comprehensively examines the legal issues that require consideration regarding the introduction of artificial intelligence in the public sector. Methodological discussions that can minimize the risks that may arise from artificial intelligence and maximize the utility of technology were proposed in each process and step of introduction.

This is an exploratory study to examine factors affecting South Korean companies' intentions to use big data technology and services based on whether the companies use public data or not. This study, using R, conducted chi-squared tests and logistic regression analysis. As a result of the logistic regression analysis, cost reduction had a positive effect on the big data-use intentions in companies that use public data, whereas with companies that do not use public data, customer satisfaction had a positive impact, and support for decision-making had a negative impact on the intention to use big data. Recently, the South Korean government has focused on improving the utilization of public data and big data. However, as a result of this study, the use of public data and big data in South Korea is still insufficient. Yet, considering that the data utilized for this study was created in 2017, additional study using public data and big data is also required.
