According to the results from the recent research in Business field, the correlation between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty is not strong. Based on this understanding, the first purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between public library service user satisfaction and public library service user loyalty. To achieve this purpose, the study conducted a survey of 240 public library users. The findings of this study are 1) the correlation between 'public library service user satisfaction' and 'public library service user loyalty' exists. However the strength of the correlation is moderate, 2) the correlation between 'public library service user satisfaction' and 'public library service users' intention to use new library services' is the weakest among the variables of 'public library service user loyalty', and 3) the correlation between 'public library service user satisfaction' and 'public library service users' intention to recommend library services to others is the strongest among the variables of 'public library service user loyalty'. The second purpose of this study was to find the moderator variables between public library service user satisfaction and public library service user loyalty. According to the study results, the following moderate variables are found: 1) physical accessibility, 2) lack of diversity in library service, 3) car-parking issues, 4) lack of diversity and recency in collections, and 5) lack of convenience in facilities.

This study statistically verified the service quality factors(book&contents, writer&manpower, service support, facility&environment of the program) that affect the satisfaction of 'One Library, One Book' program, and the influence relationship of satisfaction on the intention to use focused on the Jgu Public Library in Seoul. As a result, first, the service quality factors that have a statistically significant positive(+) effect on the satisfaction of the program were found to be the book&content, author&manpower factors of the program. Second, it was shown that the satisfaction of the program had a statistically significant positive(+) effect on the intention to use. The results of this study can be used as useful basic data to improve the quality of the 'One Library, One Book' program in public libraries in Korea in the future.

Public library is established on impartial accessibility of any distinction as their sex, age, financial status, etc. The function of public library is not only to accumulate materials and offer information but also minimize gulf between the rich and the poor by knowledge possession, which is realized by important means to intercept exclusive possession and power in knowledge pose-industrial society. As it is judged that most public library is established to individual building with thousands of cost, it is judged of obstacles to Increase library buildings. The purpose of this study is try to find the way to Increase In number of public library In Seoul by interaction local education-cultural facilities. The result from this study, the user rate of public library is influenced by number of buildings and accessibility of traffic and public library can improve efficiency by substantial operation by basic function for all age group. The target population of Seoul public library sizes by decuple of advanced countries because of difficulty of accessibility, so it needs to make it small scale and also can offer self-regulation learning, materials and life-long learning programs because generally public library's utilization purpose is different by age. As school in Seoul amounts to 25 times of public library by about 1,200 buildings and can function of lifelong education center with a school library, cultural center and other composition buildings, so school facilities may use as a public library for local residents.

The user has to subscribe to the library so that user use the library service. User has to register at that in order to use of the nearby another library. Moreover, service such as the inter-library loan and returning my loan book to other library in which the mutual cooperation between the library is needed necessity. But it services due to the constraint condition because of the administrative or technical problems. In this paper excludes the administrative element. The web service model is forming the cluster based on the mutual cooperation between the technologically adjacent public library and provides the technologically necessary single sign-on (SSO) in order to support the additional service. The single sign-on of the library which is concluded by this model using the security information exchange standard (Security Assertion Markup Language : SAML), it is processed by XML base. In using this model, the loan information is confirmed in the attribution in return service library and the model can utilize for the return of loan book in other library. It designs the single sign-on about it.

The aims of automation efforts in libraries are the rationalization of interval work and improvement of user services. After a period of exclusive internal computer utilization, later voluntary contact with the computer (e.g., circulation control with self services), patrons of American libraries now have to go to a computer terminal if they want certain information. Online public access catalogs(OPAC) have been used in American libraries since the end of the seventies. But OP AC are accepted by patron only if they have a useful and flexible user interface. This paper briefly describes the use of online catalogs in different type of libraries, categories of user (user, non-user), aspect of catalog use in context with computer experience etc. The disscussion then focuses on the characteristics of the final report of online catalog use study of Council on Library Resources and user problems in searching, as reported in many other catalog use studies.

The purpose of this study is identify factors influenced of children's library use and management through investigating the use patterns and recognition of children's parents on children's libraries. Questionnaire was used as a research method. Data was collected from the parents who entered library entrance with their child and children on four public libraries. Six factors were identified from four public libraries setting. There were the spatial planning based upon library use patterns, the flexibility and mobile furnishings, the activity area for causing children's Interesting, the guarantee of safety Place for children, the quiet area for emotional stability, and functional place for moving around.

The public library strives to foster information use by the public, cultural activities, reading, and life-long education. Public libraries are firmly rooted in local societies providing services that reflect the needs and characteristics of those local communities, while at the same time are structured in a coherent nation-wide network. This study examines practices of managing local cultural contents and proposes ways in which public libraries, as central information hubs in local communities, can provide diverse knowledge information and cultural programs, and local culture contents.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the theme collection service in public library from the user's perspective. To this end, based on prior research, the effect elements of the theme collection were derived from the service use, librarian, and library level. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 294 users of A public library. The collection satisfaction of users who know the theme collection was higher than those who did not, and showed high recognition for the satisfaction with the use of new and unexpected books. In addition, it was found that the positive recognition tended to be high among users who have been using the library for a long time and frequently use the library service. Based on the users' perception and evaluation of the theme collection, the direction of development of the theme collection service was suggested in terms of collection development, collection use and information service, user-centered classification, and awareness improvement of libraries and librarians.

The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze the effect of public library use on the construction of social and cultural capital and the close of social classes reproduction through the survey targeting public library users. As a result, the use of public libraries positively affects the construction of both social and cultural capital. In contrast, it partially addresses the problems in social classes reproduction because the social classes with higher levels of education and income tend to use public libraries more often. In order to take a role of and contribute to equal construction of social and cultural capital, public libraries need to be public places for open and social interaction. In addition, it is necessary for public libraries to improve their roles to allow community members to access and utilize various cultural resources.

As the social environment changes, the public library's services for older persons need to be improved from a new perspective. Therefore, this study analyzed the relationships among user satisfaction of major services, overall service satisfaction, service quality components (i.e., service affection, information control, and library as place), and re-use intention according to demographic characteristics by evaluating the public library's services for older persons with applying LibQUAL+ and surveying the user satisfaction. This study proposed to provide appropriate information and service according to the changes of the elderly user environment, develop the library collection according to the diversified information needs by older users, and allocate personnel who could offer a service to older people.
