Purpose - This study investigates how employee personality traits affect psychological contract breach. Also, our study examines how Guanxi, a unique socio-cultural characteristic of China, moderates the relationship between personality traits and psychological contract breach. Design/methodology/approach - To test our ideas, we constructed a survey questionnaire based on the literatures on personality traits, Guanxi, and psychological breach. The questionnaires were distributed to Chinese employees, and then we conducted a regression analysis using 378 questionnaires. Findings - We found that neuroticism is positively related to perceived psychological contract breach. We also identified support for the prediction that the positive link between neuroticism and psychological contract breach becomes weaker when employees' awareness of Guanxi is high. Research implications or Originality - This study provides several theoretical and practical implications. First, this study elaborates the personality traits-psychological contract breach relationship by incorporating Guanxi, a critical contingency factor of China. Second, given that the relationship between neuroticism and psychological contract breach can be affected by employees' perceptions of Guanxi, managers should administer Guanxi to function as a lubricant within the organization.
The present study analyzed the KOCCA's Game Immersion data to explore the relationship between psychological traits and game immersion. Psychological traits were classified into four categories; emotional stability, self-esteem, willpower, and happiness. These were put into the multiple regression analysis as the dependent variables with age, sex (dummy), economic status of the homes, variety of leisure activities, friend and family relationship, and time to play games. Four types of immersion (psychological unstability, bad relationship, interrupted daily lives, and failure to control game time and desire) were put into the multiple regression analysis as the independent variables. The multiple regression analysis indicated that the dependent variables predicted the game immersion. Among the psychological traits emotional stability was the strongest factor (negative) that influences the game immersion. Next powerful indicator (negative) among the psychological traits was self-esteem. Based on the findings, measures to alleviate the problems of game immersion and ideas for further research were suggested.

This study's primary purpose is to explore the psychological capital roles and personality traits of Big-Five in predicting OCB (organizational citizenship behavior) and performance of task in Indonesia's electricity sector. The data were gathered from the employees of four major cities in Indonesia, in Southeast Sulawesi, comprising 246 employees. The data were analyzed utilizing a PLS (partial least squares) based SEM (structural equation modeling) technique. The findings indicate that the psychological capital and personality traits of Big-Five relate significantly to OCB and the performance of task. Nevertheless, against our expectations, OCB does not significantly relate to the performance of task. This study also discusses the findings' further implications. In terms of practical implications, the findings of this research stipulate that psychological capital and Big-Five personality traits aimed to improve employee performance and can be most effective if specifically targeted at OCB. Given that both variables play an important role to promote OCB, caring training initiatives that focus on mutual help can be very valuable for organizational improvement. In a managerial perspective, organizations can increase OCB by conducting open communication strategies between managers and employees to further stimulate and strengthen the ability of employees to display extra-role behaviors.

The major concept of Sasang typology is that the disease susceptibility and drug response as well as physiological characteristics are presumed to be different depending on their Sasang types. Although characterizing fundamental basis of their traits are crucial in this research field, only pathological susceptibility and physical appearances were thoroughly studied. We evaluated their physiological characteristics by tapping psychological, physical and genetic traits of each Sasang types. After determining the Sasang type of one hundred three college students based on the Questionnaire for the Sasang Constitution Classification, the psychological, physical and genetic traits of each type were analyzed with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis and genetic polymorphism test, respectively. Each of the Sasang types showed significantly different profiles (Generalized estimation equation, coef=11.88, z=2.13, p=0.033), and could be distinctively classified based on their MBTI scores (discriminant analysis Wilks Lambda=0.611, df=8, chi-square=36.7, p<0.001). Subjects with the So-Eum type (Introversion and Judging) and the So-Yang type (Extroversion and Perceiving) showed contrasting psychological features, however they had similar anthropometric characteristics. Subjects with the Tae-Eum type showed bigger Body Mass Index ($R^2$=0.22, df=4, 74, F=5.07, p=0.001) and body shape compared to others. Although there were no significant differences in G-protein beta-3 subunit polymorphism, angiotensin-converting enzyme polymorphism and Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase polymprhisms among groups with Sasang types, it was shown that the dopamine system could be one for genetic marker for Sasang typology. These results demonstrated distinctive and essential traits of Sasang typology using reproducible psychometric, anthropometric and genetic evaluations. We also found that the Sasang typology was a bio-psychological typology which could show trait-specific guideline for individualized medicine.

This paper presented a research model to investigate the relationship between the psychological traits of small business entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial orientation and the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and performance. To verify the research model, a total of 202 entrepreneurs in Daegu were surveyed and the data obtained were used. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS. The results of the analysis showed that all of the psychological traits except 'Agreeableness' and 'Extroversion' among the small business entrepreneur's psychological trait had a positive(+) effect on entrepreneurial orientation. In addition, it was confirmed that entrepreneurship orientation had a positive(+) effect on performance, and government policy funding had a moderating effect between entrepreneurship orientation and performance. In conclusion, the causal relationship between the small business entrepreneur's psychological traits and entrepreneurial orientation is examined, and the moderating effect of government support programs is examined to find out what psychological traits of small business entrepreneurs affect the expression of entrepreneurial orientation. In addition, since entrepreneurial orientation affects performance and government policy funds control, it suggests that continuous financial support for small business entrepreneurs is needed.

Purpose: Personality qualities are essential to the prosperity of any contemporary company because they foster the growth of pleasant emotions in telecommunications distribution employees. Research design, data and methodology: Thus improving their overall psychological well-being and productivity. Talent retention is facilitated by mutual respect between management and staff. The success of the company as a whole, including the development and maintenance of emotions with customers, also depends on the psychological well-being of employees. The aim is to demonstrate how a positive and satisfied emotional workforce contributes to psychological well-being in the 21st century. Result: The research aims to better understand the personality traits that influence the psychological well-being of employees. In addition, between January and March 2023, a total of 179 employees in the telecommunications distribution industry in the Peruvian city of Chiclayo were surveyed using structural modelling methods to measure employee satisfaction. It also shows how various ideas, approaches and models can be used in the real world. Conclusion: The significance of the model on the perception of telecommunications workers in Peru is demonstrated by the results, which indicate an R2 value of 0.681 for positive emotions and an R2 value of 0.792 for employees' psychological well-being.
Emotion regulation has been suggested as a pathway through which personality traits (e.g., extraversion or neuroticism) affect psychological well-being. However, the pathway needs further investigation across cultures due to variations in parts of the relationship reported in recent culture research. With an aim of improving current understanding of the pathway, we investigated the role of emotion regulation mediating the link between personality traits and well-being across two college samples from different cultural backgrounds: Korea and the United States (US). Results of mediation analysis revealed that the extraversion-well-being relationship was fully mediated by the degree to which individuals regulate negative emotions in both Korean and US samples. However, the neuroticism-well-being relationship was partially mediated by emotion regulation in the US sample, while it was fully mediated in the Korean sample. The role of emotion regulation differently functioning across cultures suggests the importance of investigating cultural-specific mechanism of psychological processes.

Korea is one of low-ranked countries in women's economic participation rate among OECD nations because well-educated females are not participating in economic activities. Regardless of current state of our society, opening a business is being considered as a effective method for job creation. Also, increasing the number of female business founders can lead to female job creation which promotes even growth of foundation and job creation and augments women's economic activity rate. Therefore, this study suggests the direction of foundation and inspires foundation factors and aims at increasing social re-participation through vitalization of business foundation by women in career discontinuity. For this study, I carried out a survey targeting career interrupted women who have attained entrepreneurial education using five- point scale by Likert and analyzed with SPSS Windows 18.0. The analysis set up 3 hypotheses with independent variables of psychological traits, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial environment and the dependent variable of entrepreneurial intention of the career interrupted women. Also, I looked if there is the modify effect when psychological traits and entrepreneurial education affect the entrepreneurial intention with entrepreneurial environment as a moderating variable. To summarize the positive analysis result, Firstly, all psychological traits, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial environment had similar positive affects on career interrupted women's entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, when psychological traits and entrepreneurial education affect the entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurial environment had similar effects as a moderating effect. This study implies that psychological traits, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial environment are all important for the career interrupted women's entrepreneurial intention. There are so many women who are going through both professional experience and personal network's severance. Therefore, optimized entrepre neurship education must be provided to help those women return to economic activity considering their psychological traits. Additionally, we should put emphasis on producing the entrepreneurial environment that can positively convert others' perceptions and construct those women's personal network. There seems to be more productive information for the strategies which can induce those women's actual business foundation if the social problems of the women who have highly willing to open a business are treated in the future. Also, considering that psychological traits, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial environment all have effect on entrepreneurial intentions, there should be more related follow-up study on this.
As consumers are more conscious about the preferred traits and branding in restaurant selection, restaurant practitioners are getting more interested in the traits which constitute and influence consumers' brand association. Dining selection is known to be a complicated psychological process that consumers undergo, incorporating social and cultural values, personal tastes, and other psychological factors. This study was designed to investigate the specific non-food traits perceived by consumers in fine restaurant selection. Also, it prioritized those examined traits. Building on exploratory qualitative research, results from 11 interviews through focus group sessions were utilized in data analysis. Content analysis of the interviews enabled categorization of the associations. The categorized variables were utilized for empirical data analysis of conjoint analysis. First, the results suggested five superior traits such as atmosphere, price, customer relations, employee competence, and convenience of systems in fine restaurant brand association. Second, they were prioritized in the order of atmosphere, price, consumer relations, employee competence, and convenience. Finally this study provided practical implications for fine restaurant professionals in linking consumers' psychologically networked traits to brand selection.

In road work zones, pedestrian workers' habituated inattention to warning alarms from construction vehicles can lead to fatal accidents. Previous studies have theorized that human factors such as personality traits may affect workers' inattentiveness to workplace hazards. However, there has been no study that directly examined how road construction workers' personality traits affect their attention to warning alarms within a work zone and the likelihood of engagement in a struck-by accident. This study examines how workers' sensation-seeking (especially boredom susceptibility) is related to inattention to warning alarms while performing a task in road work zones. An experiment with actual road construction workers was conducted using a virtual road construction environment. Workers' attention to repeatedly presented warning alarms was measured using eye-tracking sensors. In response to workers' frequent inattentive behaviors, a virtual accident was simulated. Results revealed a significant association between boredom susceptibility and workers' engagement in the virtual accident, a consequence of inattentiveness to warning alarms. The findings suggest that workers' personality traits predispose them to tune out warning alarms and become vulnerable to accidents in road work zones. The findings of this study can be used to develop targeted interventions aimed at preventing workers' inattention to repeatedly exposed workplace hazards, thereby contributing to reducing fatal accidents in road work zones.
