  • It is important to understand psychological and physiological responses of occupants who seated in a chair in order to shape a comfortable indoor official environment. So it is needed to find out optimal seated conditions. The purpose of this study was to explore optimal condition of seat air conditioning control based on psychological or subjective responses (perceived temperature and comfort sensation) and physiological responses (heartrate variability; HRV). To do this, experimental conditions were designed by the difference of indoor temperature and seat air conditioning temperature. In the experiment 1, seven experimental conditions were designed with one control condition which was not used seat air conditioning system, and six experimental conditions which the difference of indoor temperature and seat air conditioning temperature ($-1^{\circ}C{\sim}-6^{\circ}C$). In the experiment 2, four experimental conditions were designed with one control condition and three experimental conditions ($-3^{\circ}C{\sim}-5^{\circ}C$). In addition, participants' psychological or subjective response was measured by CSV (comfort sensation vote) and PTS (perceived temperature sensitivity) as a psychological or subjective response, and heartrate variability was measured as a physiological response. As a result, in the experiment 1, it was reported that the optimal conditions of seat air conditioning control based on participants' psychological or subjective comfort were from $-3^{\circ}C$ to $-5^{\circ}C$ experimental conditions. In addition, in the experiment 2, it was reported that the optimal condition of seat air conditioning control based on participants' physiological comfort was $-4^{\circ}C$ experimental condition. These results suggested that seat air conditioning could affected to comfort sensation of occupants in an appropriate range, rather than unconditionally.

For this research, questionnaires were administered to 550 middle-aged men residing in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon. Among 352 questionnaires collected, 327 were selected and statistically analyzed by average, standard deviation, frequency analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS Win 21.0. The main results of the study are as follows: First, according to middle-aged men's social-demographic variables, the level of their psychological well-being differed significantly. Second, cognitive flexibility was the most significant predictor of their psychological well-being. In addition, emotion dysregulation, job satisfaction, father-adolescent communication, and subjective health condition were significant predictors. These results suggest that cognitive reconstruction training or problem-solving intervention could be useful for the psychological well-being of middle-aged men.

  • As many government policies have been announced today regarding real estate, especially housing, interest in prices in the housing market has increased significantly. In this study, I would like to present the direction of government policies by analyzing the relationship among income instability, the psychological condition of real estate price changes and willingness to adjust real estate holding ratio. First, major variables were extracted through the prior study review, and using a survey, data were collected and path analysis was conducted. According to the analysis, the current income instability had a negative impact on the psychological condition of real estate price changes, and a positive influence on the willingness to adjust real estate holding ratio, but the psychological condition of real estate price changes did not have a statistically significant impact on the willingness to adjust real estate holding ratio. Thus, the difference analysis was conducted between groups by dividing the ages and the number of dependents respectively. According to the analysis, the impact of income instability and psychological condition of real estate price changes on willingness to adjust real estate holding ratio differed between groups divided by ages and number of dependents. The results of this analysis will help the government to establish real estate policies and help each household to use the analysis as basic data when they make a decision about real estate. On the other hand, this study has limitations that have only been conducted cross-sectional analysis and analyzing time series changes and differences in perception between regions are going to be conducted in a future study.

  • Financial products entail either gains or losses, and customers' psychological reaction to these gains and losses affect the selection of the financial products. This study explains the financial customers' behavior by introducing consumers' psychological variables such as loss aversion and construal levels. According to the construal level theory, people use more abstract and higher levels of construal to represent objects that are more distant on psychological distance. Based on extant research about loss aversion and construal levels, this study proposes two hypotheses and test the hypotheses. The experimental study examines how loss aversion affects the choice between deposit products and fund products in short-term and long-term investment situations. In the long-term condition the respondents prefer fund products to deposit products, whereas in the short-term condition the respondents have showed the opposite result. Also, the effects of loss aversion on preferences for financial products have interacted with the time horizon of investments. Implications and limitations are discussed to establish more effective marketing strategies based on the results of this study.

The symptom of pain can be given different meanings considering the professional knowledge. It's the same case when the very same psychological condition can be iudged differently and the way of being treated can be variable. The physical treatment is a kind of method that cures illness or injury using all sorts of factors such as water, electricity, light, and exercises.
