In order to perform a successful material cutting process, the operators are to select the suitable machining tools and cutting conditions for the cutting environment. Up to now, this has been a complicated procedure done by the data in the tool manufacturers' paper catalog and the operator's experiencial knowledge, so called heuristics. This research is motivated by the fact that using computer techniques in processing vast amount of data and information, the operator can determine the tool and cutting condition easily. In the developed program, the selection of milling cutter, insert, and components are combined to provide optimal cutting speed, depth of cut, feed rate, rpm, and power. This program also provides the selection routine for end mill, drilling, turning, and grinding where the suitable tools are selected by workpiece, holder type, cut type, and insert shape.

A CAD/CAM system has been developed for rapid prototyping (RP) of microfluidic devices based on excimer laser micromachining. The system comprises of two complementary softwares. One, the CAM tool, creates part programs from CAD models. The other, the Simulator Tool, uses a part program to generate the laser tool path and the 2D and 3D graphical representation of the machined microstructure. The CAM tool's algorithms use the 3D geometry of a microstructure, defined as an STL file exported from a CAD system, and process parameters (laser fluence, pulse repetition frequency, number of shots per area, wall angle), to automatically generate Numerical Control (NC) part programs for the machine controller. The performance of the system has been verified and demonstrated by machining a particle transportation device. The CAM tool simplifies part programming and replaces the tedious trial-and-error approach to creating programs. The simulator tool accepts manual or computer generated part programs, and displays the tool path and the machined structure. This enables error checking and editing of the program before machining, and development of programs for complex microstructures. Combined, the tools provide a user-friendly CAD/CAM system environment for rapid prototyping of microfluidic devices.
In a program that runs an engineering education certification, program outcomes refer to the knowledge, skills, and attitudes a student must have until graduation. In general, capstone design is used as a tool for evaluating program outcomes. This paper applies the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) to measure the raters' reliability in assessing program outcomes. Several raters evaluate program outcomes, and the result is used to obtain the raters' ICC. ICC measures the reliability of ratings or measurements for clusters - data that has been collected as groups or sorted into groups. If the ICC is close to 1, it means that the reliability among the raters is high. We evaluated the proposed method's usefulness through case analysis. As a method for assessing an evaluation tool's objectivity, multiple raters measure the same evaluation tool. As a result, we measured the ICC values for all POs, and analyzed the cause for the low measured POs. We applied this method to evaluate program outcomes of the Department of Computer Engineering in the past two years. As a result, we derived guidelines for improvement and program outcomes.
According to increasing requirements in embedded systems. embedded software has been more complicated then before. a optimum software is difficult in embedded system. software developer make a difficult optimum software. this paper suggests a software profiling tool with which a software developer can easily profiling the embedded system software in cross-development environments. the suggested tool is designed based on host/target architecture. this tool insert program source for make profiling log to target program. a target program executed in target system. a target system communicate profiling log to host system. this tool in host system analyze profiling log data. and make a XML of profiling log and a profiling report. a profiling report is graphic viewer based GUI. a target system in this tool needs a few computing power. and XSLT can conversion of profile log XML to other format data. and suggested tool based on eclipse plug-in, therefore developer can use operates in eclipse.

This paper presents on research findings of how Visual C++ program can be used to generate codes capable of performing ramjet engine simulation To understand the diversity and applicability of this tool an arbitrary ramjet model will be considered for which generated output values will be compared with those from a commercial program GASTURB 9 iterated under the same input parameters. Several governing thermodynamic equations will first be discussed in order that we understand the fundamental idea behind values printed out on the GUI. C++ compiler was chosen as a tool of use due to its availability, ease of use, ability to compute functions faster and uniquely possible to make a stand alone GUI executable in DOS mode. The program is developed in such a way that given the ambient flight conditions, burner exit temperature and several geometry areas the program generates its own input values used in the succeeding stations. A close resemblance of output values that define performance and thermodynamic state of the engine was realized between GASTURB 9 and using this code made from C++ compiler.

The purpose of this study is offering appropriate system and training program to helf the system designer and the trainer in addition to analyze information use behavior about the web search tools and evaluate the estimated system by user groups. The results of the study are as follows $\circledS1$ It is desirable to consider age than other demographic variables in the case of web search tool. $\circledS2$ It is desirable to design Directory Search Tool in the case of web search tool which serves the student user group. $\circledS3$ An Intelligent Search Tool is more appropriate for the students who are using keyword search tool than any other tools. $\circledS4$ A discussion about standard classification of the web information should be accomplished soon because users feel confused in using web search tools due t o absence of standard mode of classification about classified item. $\circledS5$ Librarians need the cognition about data on internet s a source of information and need positive service and user training program about these information because student users hardly get help from librarians or library orientation for learning method to use web search tool. $\circledS6$ Internet use experience and years of computer use had effect on their use ability when using web search tool, whereas computer use experience, library use experience and Online Public Access Catalogs (OPAC) use experience had no effect on it. Especially, OPAC use experience had no effect on use ability of web search tool of student user group because student user groups had no information about internet and web search tool and they did not recognized the difference about search method between web search tool and OPAC. $\circledS7$In the case of web search tool, it si important to index the increasing web resource automatically by a searching robot. But in the case of student users, web search tool is much more needed to index by index expert due to the absence of ability about selecting and combining keyword.
Detecting data races is important for debugging programs with OpenMP directives, because races result in unintended non-deterministic executions of the program. It is especially important to detect the first data races to occur for effective debugging, because the removal of such races may make other affected races disappear or appear. The previous tools for race detecting can not guarantee that detected races are the first races to occur. This paper suggests a tool what detects the first races to occur on the program with nested parallelism using the two-pass on-the-fly technique. To show functionality of this tool, we empirically compare with the previous tools using a set of the synthetic programs with OpenMP directives.
This paper deals with a result of case study for the development of CEA(Course-Embedded Assessment) design tool for engineering education accreditation implementing programs. Many programs have been devoting efforts to apply CEA to their engineering education. In order to effectively apply the CEA to educational program, it is required to develop the standardized form or scheme for CEA application. As a preliminary approach, we propose the design tool and the result of a case study for CEA application in engineering education.

This paper is described the program algorithm which can easily estimate dynamics of test support system by using mathematica tool based on the finite element method. We can determine the geometry, dimensions of the test support system, through tool stated in this paper for a certain test conditions. As a result of computer simulation and manufactured test support system's experiment in oder to verify suggested program, the dynamics of the test support system was well correspondent each other.

In this paper, a method has been proposed for error measurement/diagnosis of CNC machine tools using the ball link bar on three dimensional space. For the circular motion error measurement, deviation between the desired and actual test path has been measured and analysed using a new type of ball link which incorporates ideal three point contact between reference balls and sockets. Computer program for the error evaluation has been developed and implemented under PC environment. Using the developed program, the circular test data on a CNC machine tool have been analysed, and thus, machine tool errors were effectively evaluated.
