This study investigates the actual status of Saturday program operation in Busan and explores the routes for acquiring information about the Saturday program and satisfaction with the program operation with the subjects of middle school students residing in Busan in order to develop efficient operation methods and also find ways to enhance the participation rate of the students. Therefore, with the subjects of 569 first, second, and third graders at 3 middle schools located in Busan, this research investigated the actual status of Saturday program operation in Busan to figure out the participation rate and satisfaction of the Saturday program, efficient operation methods for the Saturday program and ways to encourage participation in the Saturday program. It is needed to install cooperative Saturday program support centers to be operated collaboratively by local autonomous entities and the offices of education afterwards. And it is necessary to figure out which institution should take charge of the Saturday program according to the requests from teachers and students so that the proper institution can secure the budget and manpower and build a system to develop and operate the Saturday program.

The objectives of this study were to explore the duties and tasks of educational program operation, to develop the performance model including the duties and tasks, and to construct the action manual of the tasks and duties in related with implementing effectively the educational program. The findings of this study were as follows. First, The identifying duties and tasks was 1,942 related with implementing educational program operation based on theoretical job model through activity analysis and experience sampling techniques. Second, the finding duties and tasks was reconstructed through classifying with 9 duties and 88 tasks, and then it was developed as educational program operation model of Korean Rural HRD Center. Finally Third, the implementing manual was constructed including the contents and task-elements.

This study investigated and analyzed the exhibition, education, operation, and regional linkage program around a case of the National Museum of Ethnology in Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, England, and Japan to suggest necessary directions when constructing the national museum of ethnology of Korea. Interview by visiting the site and email interview were conducted for the investigation and suggestions according to the analysis are as follows. 1) It is necessary for the exhibition program to suggest a comparison exhibition by continent, and to be specific, occupation, style of living, representational culture, religion and view of the world, relation of power, and development culture are essential for the culture contents. 2) The education program needs to be constructed based on the age and level, and specific education program was suggested in this study. 3) Managing library, restaurant, cafe, and museum shop is essential for the operation program, additional service operation was suggested to cover additional financial areas, and professional research workers and professor manpower are necessary. 4) The regional linkage program needs to be composed by considering special qualities of the country and region, and needs to satisfy the expected effect of the local community and local residents.

Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) is a Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) system under development in South Korea and aims to provide air navigation services after 2023. In order to provide reliable service, detailed design for the operation of this system is required. This paper proposes a detailed operation-based designs based on mission, architecture, operation definition of the system. For the stable operation of the system, an operation organization was designed and operation activities were classified in consideration of the architecture and function of the system. Detailed operation procedures were designed according to this classification and operation procedures related to the command and configuration of subsystem were verified on the Integration, Verification and Qualification (IVQ) platform for integrated testing and verification. The proposed operation concepts and procedures will be continuously confirmed and verified during verification, qualification and service preparation, and will be updated event after official KASS service.

The purpose of this study is to develop an operation manual of resident-driven community program by evaluating community program operation to realize a sustainable apartment complex and vitalize a community. To achieve this purpose, 8 community experts, who are in charge of 42 complexes of 7 autonomous districts among 25 districts in Seoul were interviewed from September 2013 to December 2013. Main results of the study are as follows. 1) Operational problems and improvements are deduced from evaluating operation process of community programs. It is found that smooth cooperation of main operators including a community vitalization association, a resident representative meeting and a control office is the most important. 2) Operation guideline for representative programs are suggested based on analysis of operational characteristics of 3 types of community programs; communication, recycling and environment management, according to program operation elements; material element, programming element, human element and finance element. 3) An operation manual of resident-oriented community program is presented after considering evaluation of operation processes and analysis of 3 types of operational elements of community programs.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual condition of the already established rural theme park, draw the weak and strong points, and come up with an efficient performance plan for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park through the benchmarking of the best overseas case. According to the analysis, it is necessary to introduce a facility and a program for family customers as a plan for promoting Changwon Persimmon Theme Park. It is required to secure safety through public operation and management, improve scalability of the facility through the establishment of multi-functional complex facility, and come up with a plan for operating a special program associated with local resources. Therefore, this study drew three activation factors: the establishment of operation and management system, the development of operation contents by facility, and the establishment of operation in each area. First, to establish the operation and management system, it is necessary to classify the organization of the theme park into the operation business area and into operation & management area by job function. Secondly, it is necessary to establish a special program in consideration of space and facility, suggest a differentiated plan for operation contents, and create a facility operation plan and program for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park. Lastly, to operate and manage Changwon Persimmon Theme Park smoothly, it is necessary to set the theme park space as open collaboration space which the local residents can share and participate in by avoiding the conventional administration-based business performance and operation. This study suggested the plan for establishing an operation and management system for Changwon Persimmon Theme Park and its operation, the establishment of a special program, a business performance strategy, and the use of internal and external spaces of the theme park.

This study aims to investigate the current status of the operation system of the curriculum support extra-curricular program, focusing on the extra-curricular program operation system of other universities, and suggest the desirable operation system and performance management plan of the extra-curricular program in cultural education. To this end, the analysis of the extra-curricular program operation system of eight four-year universities in the Seoul metropolitan area was conducted on the existence of core competencies, computer systems and extra curricula program guides, credit-linked and mileage scholarship programs, and the analysis focused on the characteristics, merits and demerits of each university's operating system. It was also intended to propose the desirable operation system and performance management plan of the extra curricula program in liberal arts education, focusing on the operation system of the extra curricula program of E University and the corresponding performance management. Conclusion To operate the extra curricula program efficiently, the computer system and the extra curricula program guide, credit link and mileage scholarship system should be introduced. In addition, the analysis of the operation system of the curriculum support program of E University shows that E University operates systematically with the direction of operation of the core competency-based curriculum support extra-curricular program, and the performance management of the extra curricula program of E University is carried out through the EU-TQM System Integrated Management System.

The purpose of this study is to develop the contents of a health care program for the disabled led by nursing students and to verify the effect of the program operation on the disability awareness and disability acceptance attitude of participating university students. Ten nursing students participated in the development and operation of the program, and the validity of the developed program was confirmed through a group of experts. After participating in the program operation, it was confirmed that nursing students' disability awareness (Z=-2.80, p=.002) and disability acceptance attitude (Z=-2.66, p=.006) all improved. Various efforts should be made, such as utilizing the health care program for the disabled presented in this study, as an experiential program to properly equip university students with awareness and attitude toward disability as a social competency.

In this study, an in-house program to predict steady state operation of micro gas turbines is constructed using MATLAB. The program consists of two parts: design and off-design simulations. The program is fully modular in its structure, and performance of each component (compressor, combustor, turbine, recuperative heat exchanger and pipe elements) is calculated in a separate calculation module using mass and energy balances as well as models for off-design characteristics. The off-design modules of compressor and turbine use performance maps, which are program inputs. The off-design operation of a micro gas turbine under development was predicted by the program. The prediction results were compared with those by commercial software, and the validity of the in-house program was confirmed.

The present paper deals with obtaining the proper application criteria for the control mode, by using computer graphic simulation, in order to recover the error effectively occurring in the practical supervisory contol work of hyman-robot system. In these experiments the opteations by human and by control program are performed as control modes for recovering the error. And then we compare and analyze tow control modes taking task error and task time as performance measures and task difficulty as a variable factor. Consequently as the task difficulty increases, the task error in the operation by hyman tends to be less than in the operation by control program and the task time is superior in the operation by control program. Therefore, we suggest that two control modes should be used jointly for recovering the error and the operation by control program should be applied in major fraction of control and the operation by human in minor fraction of control.
