Protective Antitumor Activity through Dendritic Cell Immunization is Mediated by NK Cell as Well as CTL Activation

  • Dendritic cells (DCs) are potent professional antigen-presenting cells (APC) capable of inducing the primary T cell response to antigen. Although tumor cells express target antigens, they are incapable of stimulating a tumor-specific immune response due to a defect in the costimulatory signal that is required for optimal activation of T cells. In this work, we describe a new approach using tumor-DC coculture to improve the antigen presenting capacity of tumor cells which does not require a source of tumor-associated antigen. Immunization of a weakly immunogenic and progressive tumor cocultured with none marrow-derived DCs generated an effective tumor vaccine. Immunization with the cocutured DCs was able to induce complete protectiv immunity against tumor challenges and was effective for the induction of tumor-specific CTL (cytotoxic T lymphocyte) activity. Furthermore, high NK cell activity was observed in mice in which tumors were rejected. In addition, immunization with tumor-pulsed DC s induced delayed tumor growth, but not tumor eradication in tumor-bearing mice. Our results demonstrate that coculture of DCs with tumors generated antitumor immunity due to the NK cell activation as well as tumor-specific T cell. This approach would be used for designing tumor vaccines using DCs when the information about tumor antigens is limited.

일제강점기 이후 석탑(石塔) 조사연구사 (A Study on the Research History of Stone Pagoda after Japanese Colonial)

  • This study aims to investigate the changing aspects about research methodology of stone pagoda from the period of Japanese colonial to now. There were the differences in purpose, method and analysis of the research according to each period. In Japanese colonial period, the purpose of research was to make lists of almost stone pagodas in Korea. Following this, Japanese researchers conducted detailed research for academic purpose. They took measurements of stone pagodas and made drawings. After liberation the research was focused on the relics contained in pagodas. They proceeded to investigate the inner relics in order to attract the attention of the people. In the late 1900's, the repair works of cultural heritages were increased. Many reports of the repair works were released and sent to administration offices. The reports contained the change aspects of situation between before work and after with drawings or simple investigation documents. In the 1990's, the restoration works for important stone pagodas were started by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. Since then, researches from various way - architectural and conservational researches about historical interpretation, shape, structure, proportion, technique, etc. - progressed for careful restoration and accurate study. In Recent years, various professional organizations(in the field of structure, physics, chemistry, biology, lithology, etc.) started to join the researches. Researches conducted studies directly with the stone pagodas, as well as conducting indirect studies with the stone pagodas, such as the structural stability of stone pagodas, the characteristics of rock, and conservation chemicals. Today the research project 'The preservation project of stone cultural property' is being conducted by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. The purpose of this project is to gain more detailed and accurate investigation documents to be provided for the people. In conclusion, researches from various fields must be included in the research. Furthermore, a synthetic study should be done through comparing similar characteristics or different characteristics among many research results.

지방공사·공단 기록관리 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Plan for Records Management in Local Public Corporations)

  • 지방공사·공단은 「공공기록물 관리에 관한 법률」과 「지방공기업법」에서 규정하는 공공기관이자 지방공기업이다. 지방공사·공단의 사업은 지방자치단체의 업무 일부를 위탁 받아 공공시설 및 공공시설물 관리 등을 담당하고 있기 때문에 무엇보다 책임 있는 행정 운영이 중요하다. 이러한 지방공사·공단의 특성과 함께 조직운영에 있어서 윤리경영과 지식경영의 중요성이 대두되고 있기 때문에 조직 활동의 정당성과 공정성을 확보하기 위한 수단으로서 체계적이고 전문적인 기록관리가 수행되어야 한다. 본 연구는 전국의 지방공사·공단을 대상으로 하여 기록관리 업무현황과 더불어 기록관리 업무발전 가능성에 대한 인식도를 파악하여 개선방안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 문헌연구와 함께 전국 지방공사·공단 중 50개 기관의 기록관리 담당자로부터 받은 설문조사 응답을 분석하였으며, 응답자 중 18명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 국가기록원의 기록관리 업무지원 역할강화, 지방공사·공단 차원의 기록관리 업무개선, 유사기관 간 협력체 구성 및 활성화를 개선방안으로 제안하였다.

노인들의 사회활동 참여에 관한 연구 - 경기도 은빛독서나눔이 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on Social Participation Activity of the Eldery: in the Case of the Eldery Reading Assitant Program in GyeongGi-Do)

  • 본 연구는 경기도에서 운영하고 있는 '노인 독서도우미' 교육 프로그램과 독서지도 활동이 이루어지는 방법에 대한 내용을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 노인독서도우미 프로그램의 운영 내용을 파악하기 위하여 경기도청의 프로그램 담당자에게 자료협조를 받았으며, 2011년 노인독서도우미 교육에 참가한 노인들을 대상으로 일반적 배경, 교육 참여 목적, 프로그램의 만족도, 개선방안 등에 대한 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문지는 초급과정 136부, 중급과정에서 166부가 수집되어 분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과, 어르신 독서도우미 교육의 참여 목적은 일하는 즐거움, 자원봉사 등 개인의 문화적 활동이나 자아실현에 대한 의미가 강했으며 교육 프로그램과 독서지도 활동에 대한 만족도는 대체적으로 높게 나타났다. 개선되어야 할 점으로는 전문적인 내용의 교육, 활동기간의 연장, 지역아동센터의 적극적인 협조 등이 지적되었다.

간호대학생의 자아정체감과 적응에 대한 연구 (A Study on Ego-Identity and Adjustment in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the ego-identity of nursing students and their adjustment to home and university in an effort to identify the correlation of their ego-identity to their adjustability and lay the foundation for providing better personality education to them. Method: The subjects in this study were 400 nursing students at H and S universities in south Chungcheong province. The instruments used in this study were Park A-cheong(2003)'s Korean-version Ego-Identity Inventory and Jeong Jonggweon(1998)'s Home and School Adjustment Inventory. For data analysis, SPSS/PC+ Package was used, and statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained. Besides, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient were employed. Result: The findings of the study were as follows: The nursing students investigated got a 3.46 and 3.53 in ego-identity and family life adjustment respectively out of possible five points, which were both above the average. Their score in school adjustment was 2.89, which wasn't high. As for connections between general characteristics and ego-identity, their academic school year, their type of residence, presence or absence of parents and their birth order made no statistically significant differences to their ego-identity. But as to motivation of choosing nursing, the students who chose their major at their own option were the best in that regard. Their adjustment to family life made no significant differences, and regarding school adjustment, ego-identity was better among those who lived in a lodging house or dormitory(F=4.01, p<.05) and who chose their major at their own option(F=4.88, p<.01). In addition, those with better ego-identity were better adjusted to home and school. Conclusion: As the above-mentioned findings suggested that nursing educators should teach students by mapping out specific plans to enhance the ego-identity of students and facilitate their school adjustment, and full-fledged nurses should be produced by teaching students to build the right work ethics and become qualified as a professional.

신규 간호사의 역할적응에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study of Role Adaptation of Newly Employed Nurses)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing role adaptation in newly employed nurses and the consistency between role expectations before employment and after one year of employment. The results of this study may contribute to strategy development towards positive role adaptation in newly employed nurses. The data used in this study were collected from 111 nurses, the sample was drawn from all newly employed professional nurses working at Y Medical Center in 1987. The data were collected longitudinally in the 2nd - 3rd weeks, the 3rd month and the 12th month after employment. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The degree of change the importance of factors influencing role adaptation and the length of time after employment were investigated. the result showed that the degree of change was the greatest within the first 3 months after employment. Important factors related to role adaptation were working conditions, the environment of the assigned ward and the work load. These factors always displayed high scores without any great change over time. New employees put more importance on practical factors which were obtained through experience in their jobs rather than on ideal factors Which they had considered more important while in school. 2. Consistency between role expectation before employment and after 12 month of employment was investigated. The highest consintency item was the expectation about the variety of Patients, and the highest inconsistency was the expectation about their own welfare. An average score of 69.07 points was achieved from a maximum of 125 points for the 25 items. showing that expectations for role development before employment were not fully satisfied. In conclusion the administraor should assess the initial expectation at the time of employment of new nurses and she / he should make clear to the new nurses that these expectations may not be realistic. In this way the administrator can provide more satisfactory conditions towards the expectations of the new nurses and help them towards positive role adaptation and reduction of role conflict. Newly employed nurses have high and unrealistic expectations about socialization to the profession from their nursing educational program. It is suggested that a transitional training program should be planned and carried out for newly employed nurses.

중환자 간호단위의 간호강도에 근거한 적정 간호사 수 산출 (Calculation of Optimum Number of Nurses Based on Nursing Intensity of Intensive Care Units)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to calculate the total daily nursing workload and the optimum number of nurses per intensive care unit (ICU) based on the nursing intensity and the direct nursing time per inpatient using the patient classification. Methods: Two ICUs at one general hospital were investigated. To calculate the nursing intensity, patient classification according to the nursing needs was conducted for 10 days in each unit during September 2018. We performed patient classifications for a total of 167 patient-days in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and 86 patient-days in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The total number of person-days for nurses who responded to the Nursing Time survey was 151 for MICU and 85 for SICU. In each unit, direct and non-direct nursing hours, nursing intensity score, and direct nursing hours were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, and average calculated using Microsoft Excel. The amount of nursing workload and the optimum number of nurses were calculated according to the formula developed by the authors. Findings: For the MICU, the average direct nursing time per patient was 5.59 hours for Group 1, 6.98 hours for Group 2, and 9.28 hours for Group 3. For the SICU, the average direct nursing time per patient was 5.43 hours for Group 1, 7.21 hours for Group 2, 9.75 hours for Group 3, and 12.82 hours for Group 4. Practical Implications: This study confirmed that the appropriate number of nurses was not secured in the nursing unit of this study, and that leisure time such as meal time during nursing work hours was not properly guaranteed. The findings suggest that to create working environments where nurses can serve for extended periods of time without compromising their professional standards, hospitals should secure an appropriate number of nurses.

전직지원상담자의 역량분석 (Analysis of Outplacement Counselor's Competency)

  • 본 논문은 전직을 원하는 내담자들에게 전직지원 서비스를 수행하는 상담자들이 갖추어야 할 역량을 분석한 연구로, 최근 다양한 영역에서 전직에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있는 경향성을 반영하였다. 아직까지 전직의 영역 및 조직화는 명확한 대한 체계가 잡히지 않아 그 영역을 단정하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 전직지원서비스 및 상담을 실시하는 전문가들에게 특별히 요구되는 전문역량을 파악하고, 실제 상담 장면에서 그것을 적용하여 내담자의 필요를 조력하는데 그 의의가 있다. 연구문제의 해결을 위해 본 연구에서는 델파이 기법을 사용하여 총 3회의 설문을 실시하였다. 그 결과 전직지원상담의 현황 및 전문가들에게 요구되는 구직자들의 다양한 수요를 총 3개의 역량군, 13개의 역량요소, 55가지의 역량지표로 도출하였으며, 이를 토대로 현재의 전직지원 여건 및 향후 전망을 논의하였다.

한국 중소기업 CSR 경영 실태 분석과 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Practical Approaches for CSR in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 중소기업의 지속가능성 정책 제안에 관련된 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 중소기업 사회적 책임경영 확대방안에 영향을 미칠 주제를 도출하는데 주안점을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 2017년 중소기업실태조사결과 내용 중 사회적 책임경영 조사자료를 기초로 우리나라 중소기업 CSR 경영 실태 분석과 사례 분석을 시도하였고, CSR 경영 확산을 위해 다음과 같은 세 가지 개선 사항을 도출하였다. 첫째, 기업의 CSR 경영 도입을 유인할 수 있도록 일정 규모 이상 법인사업자의 국가종합전자조달시스템 입찰 자격등록 규정을 개정하여 독립적인 제3자 전문가가 검증한 지속가능성보고서 제출이나 환경관리나 지속가능경영 관련 인증서(예: ISO 14001, ISO 26000) 제출을 의무화하는 것을 제안하였다. 둘째, 중소기업 경영진을 대상으로 한 실질적인 교육과 참여 연계가 이루어 질 수 있는 환경 마련과 제도 도입이다. 이를 위해 CSR 경영을 주제로 한 지역 기업 경영자 사이의 정기적인 제휴 활동을 제안하였다. 셋째, 중소기업 경영진의 CSR 경영활동에 대한 관심과 인지도를 제고하기 위해서 지방자치단체 및 지역 내 대기업과의 연계성 추진을 제안하였다.

사회서비스 사례분석 및 발전방안 -아동 및 노인서비스를 중심으로- (Development of Social Services through Analysis of Service Cases for Children and Older Citizens)

  • 한국사회는 2000년 이후 사회서비스 수요의 급격한 증가에 대한 대응으로 사회서비스를 확대, 실시하였고, 현재까지 이용자의 다양한 욕구를 파악하고 충족하기 위한 서비스를 개발해 왔다. 그동안 사회서비스는 가치재로서 준공공재적 성격으로 인하여 민간영역에서 다양하게 확대되어 오는데 한계를 보여주었다. 이에 본 논문은 6대광역시에서 시행하고 있는 사회서비스 중 아동대상사회서비스와 노인대상사회서비스를 중점으로 분석하여, 현 제공되고 있는 사회서비스의 문제점을 파악하고 앞으로의 정책방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 프로그램 분석을 위해 한국보건복지정보개발원, 6대 광역시 시 도 사회서비스지원단 등의 사회서비스 프로그램을 영역별로 표집하여 분석하였다. 프로그램 분석 결과 사회서비스 프로그램 영역의 다양화, 서비스제공인력의 전문화, 지역사회특수성 반영, 서비스 정보 접근성 확대 등의 발전방향이 제시되었다. 또한 개선방안으로는 프로그램 결정과정에서의 이용자 참여 확대 및 서비스 공급자간 네트워크 구축이 필요함이 제시되었다.
