Income Analysis of Orange Farming in China (중국 밀감재배의 소득분석)

  • This study analyzed the income of orange farming of Lichuan, Jiangxi Province in China. Using a questionnaire, 36 farmhouseholds of Lichuan were surveyed. The results are as follows. First, through the investigation of Lichuan orange farming farmhouseholds, we know that the direct expenses of Lichuan orange is around 2,250 RMB/10a and the direct expenses per household's are about 32,000 RMB. The average production of Lichuan orange is 1,548 kg/10a and the income is around 2,200 RMB/10a. The results showed that in Lichuan area orange farming benefit is more than rice so orange farming has been increasing. Second, the direct expense of Lichuan orange farming, 91% is material cost, 8% is labor cost, depreciation cost is only 1.4%. This result show that orange farming in Lichuan is very labor intensive. Third, there are a lots of young orange trees in Lichuan, so income would be increasing through the year.

  • In order to solve the problem of the existing gate it developed the solar energy gate. The solar energy gate quotient a friction force from the area contact which will call improved with line contact and it diminished. Because of the result, The operation power of the gate came to be small and the small-sized of the motor was possible. From the small-sized of the motor, the solar energy system introduction was possible and the expense for the production establishment of the gate was diminished. From KRC in 2005 demonstration it establishes the solar energy gate in nationwide 50 places and characteristic the monitoring efficiently.

  • The business of manufacturing is increasingly becomeing time-compresssing, precise and long-life oiented, owing to various needs form the consumers and harsh global competition. with the emergence of the layer laminate maunfacturing methods, it is possible to prototypes directly from 3D CAD and additive process, the production time and cost have shortened dramatically. However there are some problems like surface-step, dimensional deviation and warp. A newly developed powder casting is suitable for rapid-manufacturing metallic tools. Powder casting can serve as a promising repid tooling method because of high density charateristics and low dimensional shrinkage below 0.1% during sintering and infiltration. By this process, we have realized significant time savings bypassing the wait for prototype tooling and cost savings eliminating the expense of conventional prototype tooling process.

  • Metabolic activity of inorganic nitrogenous compounds affects not only microbial growth but also metabolite production in fermentation technology. We have worked on the enzymes participating in ammonia assimulation of some fermentation bacteria. This paper summarizes the results on glutamine synthetase and its application in practical field. Glutamine synthetase (L-glutamate:ammonia ligase, EC. 6.3.1.2) catalyzes the formation of glutamine from glutamate and ammonia at the expense of cleavage of ATP and inorganic phosphate. The enzyme plays a dual role in nitrogen metabolism in bacteria; it is a key enzyme not only in the biosynthesis of various compounds through glutamine but also in the regulation of synthesis of some enzymes involved in the metabolism of nitrogenous compounds. The detailed works with the Eschericia coli and other enterobacterial enzymes revealed that glutamine synthetase is controlled by the following complex of mechanisms: (a) feedback inhibition by end products, (b) repression and derepression of enzyme synthesis, (c) modulation of enzyme activity in response to divalent cation and (d) covalent modification of enzyme protein by adenylylation and its cascade control. Comparative studies have also been made on the enzymes from other organisms.

Novel Recycling Technology of Ultra-fine Fibrous Materials

  • Ultra-fine fibers are spun by expensive fiber spinning technology using special spinnerets. Ultra-fine fibrous materials have attracted considerable attentions because of their potential applications as high performance wiping cloths, water absorbent sound proofing materials and moisture transfer sporting good. However, production expense of ultra-fine fibers is 5 to 7 times higher than general textile materials. The objective of this research is to develop cost-effective recycling process to produce multi-functional ultra-fine fibrous material in terms of the development of garnetting and carding machines for ultra-fine fibrous material waste and scrap. The efficiency of sound absorption for the recycled polyester nonwoven increased with decreasing length and thickness of component fibers, which was attributed to the reduction of air permeability.   • Recently, robot plays an important role in factory automation and its use is rapidly increasing. In paticular, modern industry tends to need the robot to adjust itself swiftly to new workcell. But, robot is to be taught of operator through teaching box in order that it can carry out new tasks. In the process, interruption of the production line is frequent and so much time and expense are required. Computer Graphic Simulator(CGS) provides a useful tool to overcome such a problem. In this paper, CGS consists of teaching mode and execution mode. The 5-axis Rhino robot is modelled in IBM-PC/386 compatible 32-bit personal computer with 80387 co-processor and the simulator performs defined operations on the computer screen.

  • There were a dramatic change in technical aspect in Korean detergent industry for past 5${\sim}$6 years. we, detergent industries, have been trying to find out a new way of production and better goods on environment as well as men to decrease domestic wastes and water pollution. In addition, increasing expense for transportation, storage and displaying give us another difficulties. Compact detergents are best method to solve this problems. Detergent ingredients, formulations and process were concentrated to the development of compact detergents. Now, I'll introduce about the recent trends in technical aspect and near future's prospects in Korean detergent industry.

  • Although the process about korea image restoration contents program development and liberalization have cultural and artistic worth, it is not possible to restore technically or cost enormous expense. In the study, it suggest the needs of korea image restoration contents program development through image restoration case. It is revitalize that the study in digital image restoration technical prepare the ground for passing high-qualities cultural legacy by restoring classical film. We think the development of korea image restoration software will strengthen the basis to the new creation industry of high value-added in the global cultural prosperity industry.

  • This research investigates the strategy for application of E-Trade to SMEs to analyze the economic effect of e-trade. And the influence of the proliferation of e-business and e-trade upon the industrial business conditions, value-chain, and business activities is also analyzed. The subjects of the inquiry are the nationwide petrochemical industries in which small and medium sized companies are in mutual and intimate cooperation. The results show that the business structure of the petrochemical industries are divided into four stages, and, with the introduction of e-business, the value chain is changed by stages. And the change of value-chain explains the transition of the e-business of petrochemical industries including trade business into industrial DB and leads to a variety of the economic effect including the reduction in the trade expense, the change of the production process, and the innovation of trade structure.
