This paper aims to establish a Fengshui-based marketing model that companies engaged in selling dwelling spaces can utilize to increase their sales. The study is based on an investigation of appraisal statements and analysis techniques used in Fengshui. The Fengshui marketing model can be used for corporate advertising, sales promotions, public relations events, and for framing an overall marketing strategy according to changing consumer demand. As a sales promotion strategy, it can be used to influence consumer psychology and behavior. Although this study is limited to the all-pervasive advertising and marketing of houses by construction companies under installment plans, the Fengshui marketing method can also be used for the sale of store locations, space for product display, and so on. Initially, I analyze living spaces according to traditional Fengshui theory, and subsequently apply the modern method to study topographical space structures and geomagnetism disturbances. I present a standard form for writing the Fengshui appraisal statement based on the objective analytical method of Fengshui. With its shortcomings remedied, the appraisal statement can lead to high-quality advertising and increased valuations because it is based on objective data analysis and systematic evaluation of houses. In brief, I have designed the Fengshui marketing model as a sales promotion technique for the housing industry. I believe this study will contribute to the application of Fengshui in the housing industry's sales promotion efforts through high-quality advertising. Future research should evaluate Fengshui marketing in the housing industry based on case studies. Research questions to be addressed could include how Fengshui marketing has affected installment sales of houses and how Fengshui architectural practices affect general well-being. These studies would help propagate Fengshui marketing by validating its effectiveness. In addition, case studies should be undertaken to consider the practical applications of Fengshui marketing, how it can contribute to maximizing a company's image and profits, and how it can promote customer satisfaction.
Recently, there have been increasing attempts to pursue and express feelings such as sensibilities, emotions, and impressiveness in commercial spaces. One of such methods is to apply 'storytelling' to space designs. Applicability of storytelling to a space suggests that the contents of a space can be expressed through various mediums. Portraying events and situations through a single time continuity of a story is referred to as 'narrative'. The movement of users and sequence of contents are determined by a narrative. It provides different storytelling and a sense of place to each space through various roles, such as wide association, engraving, and image formation. A narrative can lead users to engage in different perceptions and behaviors even in spaces with the same content. Thus, this study is intended to examine the impact of space marketing in line with design narratives, assuming that narratives of commercial space designs will influence the formation of brand identity. The research methods are as follows. First, the definition of narratives in space design was established by examining narrative architectures. Second, design analysis tools for commercial spaces were established from the perspective of narratives through preceding studies. Third, the design narratives of different shops under the same brand were comparatively analyzed through a case study. To carry out a case study, a commercial space of 'O'sulloc' was selected, and its brand identity was studied from the narrative standpoint. The case study involved interior designs of 7 road shops of 'O'sulloc.' Among the 7 road shops, two of them with the biggest difference in design narratives were selected, and an observation survey was done on the users as a second analysis. Through the observation survey, actual design narrative experience was analyzed in 4 steps of introduction, development, turn, and conclusion. The findings are as follows. The design method of each shop varied, and different design elements were emphasized. Among various elements, the ones that reflect the brand identity of 'O'sulloc' the best were logo, product, and shape. During the process of narratives, the characteristics of each shop and user recognition and behavior varied depending on the degree of emphasis on a particular element. It suggests that space design narratives can influence the formation of brand identity. This study provides ideal directions of developing space designs necessary for forming brand identity from the standpoint of Korean traditional culture modernization. Future studies could discuss the economic feasibility of such designs.

It has been reported that certain ingredients added to cosmetics clog the skin pores and this can cause outbreaks of comedones which are the primary sign of acne leading to inflammatory acne. This research aims to establish objective evaluation criteria for non-comedogenic cosmetics suitable for acne prone skin. The research has been carried out to examine non-comedogenic test performed in foreign clinical institutions and to establish the evaluation method for detecting comedones outbreaks through repetitive closed back-patch test, Also, usability evaluation on face skin is performed additionally to the same subjects. The analysis of the comedones collected through repetitive closed back-patch test confirmed that the test products, moisturizer and sunscreen product, did not cause comedones. These results had no correlation with the analysis result of the comedones collected from face skin or visual evaluation of acne by Global Acne Grading System (GAGS) in face usability test. Additionally, Oil red O staining was performed on the collected comedones specimen for easy distinction of comedones from hair follicle in image analysis. The analysis result of stained specimen showed higher precision than that of non-stained specimen. This study established a new version of non-comedogenic test for cosmetics, whose objectivity and reliability were improved by inclusion of comedones staining step.

Techniques based on thresholding of wavelet coefficients are gaining popularity for denoising data because of the reasonable performance at the low complexity. The VisuShrink which removes the noise with the universal threshold is one of the techniques. The universal threshold is proportional to the noise deviation and the number of data samples. In general, because the noise deviation is not known, one needs to estimate the deviation for determining the value of the universal threshold. But, only for the finest scale wavelet coefficients, it has been known the way of estimating the noise deviation, so the noise in coarse scales cannot be removed with the VisuShrink. We propose here a new denoising method which removes the noise in each scale except the coarsest scale by Visushrink method. The noise deviation at each band is estimated by the monotonic transform and weighted deviation, the product of estimated noise deviation by the weight, is applied to the universal threshold. By making use of the universal threshold and the Soft-Threshold technique, the noise in each band is removed. The denoising characteristics of the proposed method is compared with that of the traditional VisuShrink and SureShrink method. The result showed that the proposed method is effective in denoising on Gaussian noise and quantization noise.
This study will analyze a case that utilizes not just the characters, which are a primary licensing component in traditional animation licensing, however secondary images such as animation backgrounds, and one that has visually extended their brand. Secondary image plays an important role in developing the narration of the animation, and provides the space where the narrative takes place. It also gives important clues for the characters to be able to develop a narrative, through its chronological and geographical dimensions. This study distinguishes the components that can be used in the licensing process of an original animation into primary usage and secondary usage, and defines the scope of each. Focused on two collaboration cases, Disney's The Jungle Book & KENZO, and Disney's Alice in Wonderland & Marc by Marc Jacobs, It investigates the relationship of visual utilization between the expressive components related to secondary usage in the collaborative case of licensing, and the actual product. This study found the possibility of secondary images as a vehicle to deliver brand identity. As the spectrum of licensing elements is extended, it is necessary to develop an alternative licensing system for the new process of collaboration.
Crops show sensitive spectral characteristics according to their species and growth conditions and although frequent observation is required especially in summer, it is difficult to utilize optical satellite images due to the rainy season. To solve this problem, Constrained Cloud-Maximum Normalized difference vegetation index Composite (CC-MNC) algorithm was developed to generate periodic composite images with minimal cloud effect. In thisstudy, using this method, monthly Sentinel-2A/B Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) composite images were produced for paddies and high-latitude cabbage fields from 2019 to 2021. In August 2020, which received 200mm more precipitation than other periods, the effect of clouds, was also significant in MODIS NDVI 16-day composite product. Except for this period, the CC-MNC method was able to reduce the cloud ratio of 45.4% of the original daily image to 14.9%. In the case of rice paddy, there was no significant difference between Sentinel-2A/B and MODIS NDVI values. In addition, it was possible to monitor the rice growth cycle well even with a revisit cycle 5 days. In the case of high-latitude cabbage fields, Sentinel-2A/B showed the short growth cycle of cabbage well, but MODIS showed limitations in spatial resolution. In addition, the CC-MNC method showed that cloud pixels were used for compositing at the harvest time, suggesting that the View Zenith Angle (VZA) threshold needsto be adjusted according to the domestic region.
Reexamining Brecht's theoretical hypotheses in terms of cognitive science, this essay arrived at several temporary interpretations. Cognitive science implies that empathy can precede the rational understanding in Verfremdungseffekt. The spectator tends to simulate the unfamiliar incident and character and feels the consequential embodied emotion that leads to the cognitive understanding. The similar situation can be found in social gestus. According to cognitive science, gesture(social gestus) is simulated in the mirror-neuron of spectator, arousing consequently the embodied emotion that triggers the succeeding understanding. The spectator apts to experience and feel physically the moving gesture before decoding it as a social signification. Brecht's intention that attempts to reveal the duality of actor and character by eliminating the fourth wall is negated by cognitive science. According to the theory of conceptual blending, the spectator under the eliminated fourth wall mixes actor and character, and simulates this blending image so that he experiences it imaginatively. As such, another kind of illusion can be formed when a fourth wall is collapsed. Meanwhile, the critical thinking of spectator Brecht wanted can be hard to occur during the performance. It is necessary for the spectator to recollect the bygone dialogue and action in terms of social context as if he presses the pause, stopping the playback while watching a play in video. In this respect the social meaning Brecht intended can be achieved more effectively by the stop motion like tableau. It would not only give the time for the spectator to consider the implied social signification, but also make him possible to decode a semiotic meaning as if interpreting a still picture. Or it can be delivered by the dialogue that expresses the playwright's critical judgement. In this case, the subject of critical thinking is not the spectator but the author. The alternative explanation that the cognitive science suggests illuminates theoretically the reasons why Brecht's theory fails to be realized in practice. In a sense, Brecht's theory is nothing but a theoretical hypothesis. It takes the premise that the emotion hinders the rational thinking, understanding emotion and reason oppositively like Plato. This assumption is negated easily by the recent cognitive science that sees the reason as a by-product of physical experience including emotion. The rational understanding, in this sense, begins from the embodied emotion. As such the cognitive science denies the dichotomy of emotion and reason that Brecht adopted. The theoretical hypothesis of cognitive science makes us recognize again the importance of bodily experience in theatre. In theatre the spectator tends to experience physically before decoding the intellectual meaning. The spectator Brecht wanted, therefore, is far from the reality. The spectator usually experiences and reacts physically before decoding the meaning critically. Thus Brecht's intention can be realized by the embodied emotion resulted from simulation. This tentative interpretation suggests that we need to pay more attention to the empirical study of spectatorship, not remaining in a speculative study.

Recently, the demand of labels for product management is increasing, as the automation system becomes more common. the development of functional labels which can be used in various environments has been rapidly proceeded. In the case of a printed circuit board, barcode labels with thermal and chemical stability are generally used due to a high temperature process around $300^{\circ}C$ and chemical cleaning in the manufacturing process. However, the yellowing phenomenon of labels that can lower the resolution of printed barcode image still needs to be prevented. In this study, we prepared a composite coating layer using a silica inorganic binder and a titanium dioxide white pigment, and developed a functional labels with thermal and chemical stability. The silica inorganic binder prepared by sol-gel process was confirmed to show excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance with the polyimide film. The white coating layer could be formed on the polyimide film with mixing the silica inorganic binder and titanium dioxide white pigment. The prepared coating layer showed excellent whiteness and glossiness above $400^{\circ}C$. The excellent chemical stability of the coating layer was also confirmed by the chemical treatment with acidic (pH 1.6) and basic (pH 13.6) cleaners.

In the medical field, disease diagnosis and prediction research using artificial intelligence technology is being actively conducted. It is being released as a variety of products for disease diagnosis and prediction, which are most widely used in the application of artificial intelligence technology based on medical images. Artificial intelligence is being applied to diagnose diseases, to classify diseases into benign and malignant, and to separate disease regions for use in identification or reading according to the risk of disease. Recently, in connection with cloud technology, its utility as a service product is increasing. Among the diseases dealt with in this paper, liver disease is a disease with very high risk because it is difficult to diagnose early due to the lack of pain. Artificial intelligence technology was introduced based on medical images as a non-invasive diagnostic method for diagnosing these diseases. We describe the development of a web service to help the most meaningful clinical reading of liver cirrhosis patients. Then, it shows the web service process and shows the operation screen of each process and the final result screen. It is expected that the proposed service will be able to diagnose liver cirrhosis at an early stage and help patients recover through rapid treatment.

The color image of the brand comes first and is an important visual element that leads consumers to the consumption of the product. To express more effectively what the brand wants to convey through design, the printing market is striving to print accurate colors that match the intention. In 'offset printing' mainly used in printing, colors are often printed in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key) colors. However, it is possible to print more accurate colors by making ink of the desired color instead of dotting CMYK colors. The resulting ink is called 'spot color' ink. Spot color ink is manufactured by repeating the process of mixing the existing inks. In this repetition of trial and error, the manufacturing cost of ink increases, resulting in economic loss, and environmental pollution is caused by wasted inks. In this study, a deep learning algorithm to predict printed spot colors was designed to solve this problem. The algorithm uses a single DNN (Deep Neural Network) model to predict printed spot colors based on the information of the paper and the proportions of inks to mix. More than 8,000 spot color ink data were used for learning, and all color was quantified by dividing the visible light wavelength range into 31 sections and the reflectance for each section. The proposed algorithm predicted more than 80% of spot color inks as very similar colors. The average value of the calculated difference between the actual color and the predicted color through 'Delta E' provided by CIE is 5.29. It is known that when Delta E is less than 10, it is difficult to distinguish the difference in printed color with the naked eye. The algorithm of this study has a more accurate prediction ability than previous studies, and it can be added flexibly even when new inks are added. This can be usefully used in real industrial sites, and it will reduce the attempts of the operator by checking the color of ink in a virtual environment. This will reduce the manufacturing cost of spot color inks and lead to improved working conditions for workers. In addition, it is expected to contribute to solving the environmental pollution problem by reducing unnecessarily wasted ink.
