This study was contrived Hierarchical Information Search (HIS) model. HIS model is based on a “cognitive process” in which model, comprising basic human information processing mechanize and information interaction. Its process include 3 semantic cognitive processes: Schema-Association LTM, Form Domain, and Alternative Selection. Design methodology consists to elicitate memory, thinking and cognitive response variables. In case study, menu structure of mobile phone was applied. In result, a correlation between predictive error rate and real error rate was .892. and a correlation between selective and real reaction time was .697. This present to suggest a model of how the methodology could be applied to real system design effectively when this was used. HIS model could become one of the most important factors for success of product design. In the perspective, the systemic methodology would contribute to design a quantitative and predictive system.

Skin, the complex membrane that holds the body together, also embraces the full spectrum of design today-from product to architecture, fashion, and media. Every object has a skin. thick or thin, smooth or rough, porous or impermeable, the skin is the line between a hidden interior and an exterior we experience. Skin： Surface, Substance and Design is a compendium of products, furniture, fashion, architecture and media that expand the limits of what we understand as surface. Reflecting the convergence of natural and artificial life, this provocative a thesis shows how enhanced and simulated skins appear everywhere in today's world.

In this paper, we designed 32-Hit MAC architecture of a RISC Processor for portable terminals such as cellular telephones, personal digital assistants, notebooks, etc. In order to have minimum area with best performance, the MAC performs 32 by 8 multiplication per cycle, with early termination circuit that enables multiply cycles depend on the value of multiplier. It uses the sign bit of a partial product and two extra bits for sign extension, The MAC is modeled and simulated in RTL using VHDL. The MAC is synthesized using IDEC C-631 Cell library based on 0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS 1-Poly 3-metal CMOS technology.

The new paradigm, which is called Electronic Commerce (EC), has greatly influenced not only enterprises but also other part of our society. Many goods have been actively transacted through EC all over the world. But there is a great difference between agricultural products and industrial products in terms of selling and buying behavior. Industrial products are well standardized and time-invariant in quality but agricultural products are not. Even the domestic distribution channels of agricultural products are much complex and are not modernized with internet technology. In this study, we first identify the behaviors of electronically transacting agricultural products and then develop and EC architecture far agricultural products in Korea. We suggest that EC for agricultural products focuses on B2B (Business to Business) model and various agricultural information should be distributed from B2B market over all supply chain and demand chain channels.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the concrete shear strength and structural behavior of two general beams and eight shape memory alloys (SMAs)-reinforced beams under the flexural test. This work compares the existing reference formula for concrete shear strength with test result to provide the basic data for the design of highly intelligent reinforced concrete (hereinafter, HIRC) beams. The evaluation of the concrete shear strength was performed with effective depth (d=65, 70, 80), SMA diameter change (ø=2.0, 2.5) as the main variables of the specimens. For the relationship between the effective depth and the $V_{\exp}/V_{cal}$, the test result shows that the concrete shear strength gradually approaches 1.0 as the effective depth length increase. For the AIJ formula, the specimens are approached evenly for comparison between $V_{\exp}/V_{cal}$ and the by-product (garnet, fly-ash) reinforced specimen; however, other formulas indicate a deviation.

The application of photovoltaics into building as integrated building components has been paid more attention worldwide. Photovoltaics or solar electric modules are solid state devices, directly converting solar radiation into electricity; the process does not require fuel and any moving parts, and produce no pollutants. And the prefab building method is very effective because the pre- manufactured building components is simply assembled to making up buildings in the construction fields especially the sandwich panel. Architecture considerations for the integration of PV module to building envelope such as building structure, construction type, safety, regulation, maintenance etc. have been carefully refelected from the early stage of BIPV module design. Trial product of BIPV module are manufactured and sample construction details for demonstration building are purposed. Therefore, this paper intends to advanced its practical use by proposing how to get integrated PV system which can be applied to prefab building material, and how to apply it.

Advertising provides consumers with information about products, purchasing effect and criteria. Advertising of the domestic bed companies started in the 1990's and each company focused on publicizing its brand. As the times change, however, they begin to express the quality-property which consumers demanded in the advertising. This research examined the advertising trends in the domestic and foreign bed companies. Also, it presents how the quality control (QC) is reflected on the advertising of the domestic and foreign bed companies. As a result of the analysis on bed-advertising of them, the things mostly represented as a determinant of product quality are performance, shape/quality, recognition and reliability. On the side of consumers, however, service, durability and stability are mirrored in the advertising and help choose the products as the determinants.

Modern manufacturing systems should cope with the frequent changes in a product model and disturbances in manufacturing process. The control system of such systems must cover a constant adaptation and high flexibility. Holonic Flexible Manufacturing Cell(HFMC) is introduced to handle these issues more successfully. It is based on the concept of autonomous co-operating agent, called 'Holon', which is a building block of a manufacturing system for transforming, transporting, storing and/or validating information and physical objects. In this paper the basic structure of the HFMC is represented by using Unified Modeling Language and Open architecture cell controller is developed for effective integration components of a manufacturing system. Also a new control model, called MuLOM(Multi-Layered Operation Model), is suggested to represent the control behaviour for a holonic flexible manufacturing cell control system.

There is a proverb in Korea "Don't chase after another." It can be a right proverb in sometimes. However, usually it doesn't fit in these various society, information knowledge society. Modern society requires convergence technology. IBS (Intelligent Building System) requires knowledge of architecture field, electric field, communication field, and computation field. ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) which is constructing in many cities requires various knowledge as engineering works, electricity, computation, communication and transportation. In the case of u-City, it requires technology of many fields as architecture, electricity, communication, engineering works, transportation, and computation. Anyone who wants to participate in u-City should study and acquire knowledge in various field. Otherwise, it must be failed because of lack of communication like as the Tower of Babel. U-City is not a portion of one field. Therefore, engineers in many fields should cooperate with each other to make u-city as the best product in the world.

This study attempts to examine and to analyze the characteristics of transparent materials and its methods to apply in space. the ability to see through a physical element, whether it is clear glass, sandblasted acrylic, or a delicate fabric, can have a dramatic and sensory effect on the overall perception of a space. The various range of Transparent materials and product in glass, plastic, fabric, and grid now gives us the potential to maximize the flow of light in our enclosed space. This research will explore how transparent, translucent, and semi-opaque elements can be used within the interior with full range of see-through materials. The transparent materials can be divided in two level - as structural elements and as stylish accessories. A glass partition or floor, metal mesh stairs can create divisions or link one space to another while maintaining effective levels of natural light. there is also various level of products from glass chair to basin. With the enthusiasm for using transparent materials, transparent materials will be more decorative and powerful application while still maximize the highest possible flow of light.
