Analysis of Women's Tailored Jacket Pattern Making Drafting to Suggest Implication for Apparel Mass Customization Process (의류 대량맞춤 공정 시사점 제안을 위한 여성용 테일러드 재킷 제도법 분석)

  • This research compared and analyzed a representative jacket pattern making method to suggest implications for the mass customization process of clothing. Four types of pattern making methods were selected according to the degree of reflection of human body measurements. Patterns were analyzed according to the size of middle-aged women. The results of this study are as follows. First, it identified and compared the difference in human body measurement and drafting processes required for pattern drafting. Next, as a result of analyzing the manuals and institutional figures presented in the pattern drafting manuals, problems such as B.P. location and compartment of the chest circumference, which are not appropriate, were found and the human body measurement method is different for each pattern making method. Through the above analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of the pattern making methods were identified and proposed improvements and implications for the application to the apaarel mass customization process were presented.

Process Standardization for the Construction of Job-Exposure Matrix Using the Work Environment Measurement Database (작업환경측정 결과 데이터베이스를 활용한 직무노출매트릭스 구축을 위한 공정 표준화)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to standardize the process code of the work environment measurement database (WEMD) for the construction of a job-exposure matrix (JEM). Methods: The standard process code (SPC) was reclassified based on process similarity and drawing upon the code used in the existing K2B. It was supplemented through review by industrial hygiene experts. In addition, an index word database related to SPC was created and used for SPC search. A pilot evaluation project was conducted by experts to evaluate the validity of the newly reclassified standard process code. Results: A total of 70 final SPCs were developed, including 31 processes related to the construction industry. Using the Shiny program, we developed a standard code finder that can be used on the web (https://kscf.shinyapps.io/scf_app/). As a result of the pilot evaluation, it was determined that it was easier to search for standard codes than previous codes, so it was highly utilized. Conclusions: It is expected that JEM construction using industry-process information drawing on WEMD data will be possible using the 70 newly standardized process codes.

  • Technical Measures includes Measures of Effectiveness(MOEs), Key Performance Parameters(KPPs), Measures of Performance(MOPs) and/or Technical Performance Measures(TPMs). Technical measurement is the set of measurement activities used to provide supplier and/ or acquirer insight into progress in the definition and development of the technical solution, ongoing assessment of the associated risks and issues. This paper describes how technical measures can be applied, using the measurement process described in the previous study and shows the relationship between the various types of technical measures.

Comparative Study on the Configuration Factors and Measurement Method of Yangsaeng Gigong and Psychological Skills Training (양생기공과 심리기술훈련의 구성요인과 측정평가방법의 비교 연구)

  • If we can evaluate the training results more appropriately and analyze the psychological changes in more objectively, the training can be more efficient and it can help to solve the problems during the training. This research analyzed the similarity and differences of Yangseng Qigong and psychological skill training's components and measurement methods. Also, the research further studied psychological skill training's measurement method. Results : The measurement type of Yangseng Qigong are Sagong, a record of Sagong, Damgong, IIgi, and Sogyeol. Similarly, the measurement type of psychological skills training are questionnaire, interview, personal profile, and observation of a single subject. Despite the similarities between the measurement type of Yangsaeng Qigong and psychological skills training, unfortunately there are differences in the contents. Thus, If we introduce strengths of each method to the other, we may have better measurement methods. The questionnaire method of psychological skills training is the most commonly used method, because it gives concrete, objective, reliable and highly reproducible results. If we refer to the questionnaire development process in psychological skills training, we can have objective and concrete measurement tool for Yangsaeng Qigong training. In the psychological skills training measurement tool development process, there are 5 stages; test conception, test preparation, test execution, question analysis, and test modification. Furthermore, the requirements for the good survey are reliability, validity, practicality, and cultural appropriateness. Through this study, we reached the conclusion that we need to combine two methods together to develop a better method because Yangsaeng Qigong places importance on comprehensive method and realization while psychological skills training places importance on analytical method and objective evaluation. And It seems that a practical study is needed to resolve the concerete problems of Yansaeng Qigong through these concrete cases.

A Case Study on Teaching the Sum of the Interior Angles of a Triangle Using Measurement Errors (측정 오차를 활용한 삼각형의 내각의 합 지도 방안 사례 연구)

  • In this study, under the assumption that the goal pursued in measurement area can be reached through the composition of the measurement activity considering the mathematical process, the method of summing the interior angles of a triangle using the measurement error was applied to the 4th grade class of the elementary school. Results of the study, first, students were able to recognize the possibility of measurement error by learning the sum of the interior angles of a triangle using the measurement error. Second, the discussion process based on the measurement error became the basis for students to attempt mathematical justification. Third, the manipulation activity using the semicircle was recognized as a natural and intuitive way of mathematical justification by the students and led to generalization. Fourth, the method of guiding the sum of the interior angles of a triangle using the measurement error contributed to the development of students' mathematical communication skills and positive attitudes toward mathematics.

  • We developed a real-time three-polarizer spectroscopic ellipsometer based on a new data acquisition algorithm and a general data reduction (the process of extracting the ellipsometric sample parameters from the Fourier coefficients). The data acquisition algorithm measures Fourier coefficients of radiant flux waveform accurately and precisely. The general data reduction is introduced to represent the analytic functions of the standard uncertainties of the ellipsometric sample parameters, and the extracted theoretical values closely agree with the corresponding experimental data. Our approach can be used for optimization of measurement conditions, instrumentation, simulation, standardization, laboratory accreditation, and metrology.

  • In this study, a vision system with image processing method have been introduced to find the edge radius of curvature. It was applied to inspect the edge quality of the deburring process product with brush grinding. Size of data was found to be critical in calculating the radius of curvature. Results using laser measurement system were compared.

  • In the blade grinding process, Blade image is captured. It is captured in the environment with vibration, using monochrome CCD camera with high speed electronic shutter. The image is preprocessed using LoG filter and zero crossing. We used Hough transformation to detect straight lines from the preprocessed image. From the equations of detected lines, we calculated width between lines caused by grinders. This paper proposes automatic measurement of blade width to automate the process control of blade grinding line.

  • 6 sigma movement is the most prominent quality improvement methodology in practice. Measurement plays an important role in helping any organization improve quality. Therefore, the measurement systems analysis is the first step for the quality improvement of manufacturing process in 6 sigma movement. In this study, we investigate the effect of Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility(Gage R&R) in view of defect rate and process capability indices, and provide guidelines for acceptance of gage repeatability and reproducibility(%R&R) for six sigma quality.

  • In this paper, we have developed a system for monitoring and processing the real time sensor data in remote site through Internet. For realizing this system, measurement equipment and protocol are used to transmit the measurement data to remote server and to process measurement data. In server part, the received data from remote site sensor is converted to text or graphic charts for user. The measurement device in sensor part receives the sensor data form sensor and store the received data to its internal memory for transmitting data to server part through Internet. Also the measurement device can receive data form server. The temperature sensor is corrected to the measurement device located in laboratory and the measurement device measures temperature of laboratory which can be confirmed by user through Internet. We have developed a server program working on the Linux to store measurement data from measurement device to server memory. The program is use for SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) to exchange data with measurement device. Also the program changes the measurement data into text and graphic charts for user display. The program is use apache PHP program for user display and inquiry. The real time temperature measurement system can be applly for many parts of industry and living.
