가진된 덤프 연소기 내에서의 비예혼합 화염 거동 (Behavior of Non-premixed Flame Front in an Acoustically-Driven Dump Combustor)

  • Dump combustor is a combustor having a dump plane to make coherent structures. A non-premixed flame dump combustor of simple geometry was constructed. We conducted basic experiments such as frequency response on the combustor to confirm the characteristics of the phenomena as a typical dump combustion and unsteady combustion. Furthermore we visualized the flame front behavior by CH chemiluminescence and high speed motion analysis. In spite of the lack of another data such as velocity, species concentration and temperature, the results showed not only the periodic motion of flame front but the ignition process of vortex ring flame. Also we could check out Rayleigh criterion by combining the visualization data with the pressure data.

포스트 모템 디버깅과 프로세스 덤프 (Post Mortem Debugging And Process Dump)

  • 프로그램 개발에 있어 디버깅은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 개발 과정에서 디버깅을 통해 버그를 대부분 잡을 수 있지만 제품이 출시된 이후에도 프로그램 버그를 잡을 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 이를 위해 포스트 모템 디버깅에 대해 살펴보고 프로세스 덤프에 대해 논의한다. 또한 프로그램이 다운되었는데 프로세스 덤프가 생성되지 않는 상황에 대해 원인을 분석해 보도록 한다. 아울러 검증된 예외 핸들러라 하더라도 프로세스 덤프를 남기지 못하는 상황을 이해하고 이런 상황을 타개하기 위해 EHModule(Exception Handler Module)를 구현한다. 구현한 EHModule의 핵심 루틴을 설명하고 해당 모듈의 특징 및 효용성에 대해 언급한다.

  • The number of vehicles employing diesel engines is rapidly rising. Accompanying this trend, application of an after-treatment system is strictly required as a result of reinforced exhaust regulations. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system is considered as the most efficient method to reduce particulate matter (PM), but the improvement of a regeneration performance at any engine operation point presents a considerable challenge by itself. Temperature, gas compostion and flow rate of exhaust gas are important parameters in DPF evaluation, especially regeneration process. Engine dynamometer and degment tester are generally used in DPF evaluation so far. But these test method couldn't reveal the effect of various parameters on real DPF, such as O2 concentration, amount of soot and exhaust gas temperature. This research has studied the possibility using dump combustor that used to take an approach lean premixed combustion in gas turbine for a DPF power and optimized. It is possible that utilize the system as DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) assessments test as well as DPF evaluation

저공해 compact 유해폐기물 dump 소각기 개발 (The Development of Hazardous Waste Compact Dump incinerator for Low Emissions)

  • A lot of hazardous wastes are discharged as by-products of working process by industrial development. Hazardous wastes is physical characteristics of difficult destruction at hight temperature. Numerical simulation and combustion experiment performed of dump incinerator for hazardous waste incineration. For the numerical simulation, the SIMPLEST algorithm was used to ensure rapid converge A K-$\varepsilon$ model was incorporate for the enclosure of turbulence flow. Combustion model was used by ESCRS (extended simple chemically reacting system) model available of CHEMKIN thermodynamic data for the source term of species conservation equation or energy equation. Radiation model is used by six flux model. A parametric screening studies was carried out through numerical simulation and experiment. Residence time and concentration in the incinerator was strongly dependent on the parameters of mixture velocity, mixture equilibrium ratio, surrogate velocity and surrogate equilibrium ratio.

  • Employing an after-treatment system has almost become a mandatory requirement for Diesel vehicles, which results from a reinforced exhaust regulations as the number of vehicles powered by a Diesel engine increases. The Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) system is considered as one of the most efficient method to reduce particulate matter (PM); however, the improvement of a regeneration performance at any engine operation point presents a considerable challenge by itself. Temperature, gas composition and flow rate of exhaust gas are important parameters in DPF evaluation processes, especially during a regeneration process. Engine dynamometer and segment tester are generally used in DPF evaluation so far. These test methods, however, could not completely evaluate the effect of various parameters on real DPF, such as oxygen concentration, amount of soot and exhaust gas temperatures. The evaluation of DPF systems using a dump combustor has been verified experimentally and this dump combustor system is likely to be appropriate for the DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) assessments test, too.

  • The detection of the normal zones in the coil winding and the initiation of the proper dump sequence have been one of the most important areas in the superconducting magnet technology. In this paper, the process to derive optimal dump sequence has been investigated through quench simulation and analysis of magnetically coupled superconducting magnet system. The magnet terminal voltage and maximum temperature rise in the quench initiated point are calculated with respect to various input variables such as operation current, dump resistance, etc. The experimental system is comprised of sc solenoidal coil, data aquisition device, external circuit breakers and dump resistor. The quench behavior of the magnet(e.g., temperature profile and the voltage signal) was measured. From this results, theoretical predictions were found to coincide with the experimental observations.

저품위 광석 또는 광미내 금 침출기술 현황 (Current Status of Gold Leaching Technologies from Low Grade Ores or Tailings)

  • 최근 저품위 (폐)광석으로부터의 금 회수를 위한 침출기술이 각광을 받고 있다. 현재 침출기술은 경제성과 효율성 측면에서 시안을 이용하는 것이 효과적이나 시안은 독극물의 일종으로 환경오염의 우려가 있어 규제 및 관리가 요구된다. 특히 이러한 문제는 최근 주목받고 있는 저비용 침출기술인 Dump 혹은 Heap leaching 적용시 더욱 현저하다. 이를 해결하기 위해 티오황산염(thiosulfate) 이나 할로겐화합물 등 시안을 대체할 대안침출제의 개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있으나 이들은 아직 상용화에 이르기까지 여러 어려움이 있으며 추가적인 연구개발이 필요하다. 저비용 친환경적인 생물학적 금침출도 상용화되고 있으나 이는 대부분 직접 금 침출이 아닌 시안침출의 전처리 산화공정(pre-oxidation process)으로 적용되고 있다. 그러나 생물학적 침출을 통한 직접 금 회수도 이론적으로 가능하며 향후 Dump나 heap bioleaching을 통한 직접 금 침출로 시안이 필요없는 저품위 금 회수 상용화가 시급하다고 판단된다.

폐 바이오매스를 이용한 폐열 회수 열교환기에 관한 연구 (Study on Heat Recovery System using Waste Biomass)

  • Waste heat recovery system was studied numerically and experimentally. Heat exchanger system was designed specially to obtain the optimum heat exchanging performance. Brushwood biomass was used for the present experimental study. Two biomass heat recovery systems were designed and developed. Polyethylene helical pipe line of 0.03 m (inner diameter) was installed to recover the heat of biomass dump. The fermentation process of biomass dump was maintained for 12 weeks. The inner average temperature of biomass was about 51$^{\circ}C$ for both hot exchanger systems. The current heat recovery system could recover up to 6 ㎉/kg of energy.

  • The production accounts of domestic by-product is increased after 1990's. It is worried about the life reduction of dump land, as dump land's capacity have reached to limitation and the amount of construction industrial wastes is going higher. Recently, recycling aggregates could be gained from the reconstruction works using recycle process. And the study and research of recycle concretes developed concrete application methods. It could put some outcome of studies to practical use for concrete products. The methods of crushing waste concrete are going diverse. In this study, the fundamental experiments and recycling application is investigated and analyzed with use of recycling aggregate which made of mechanical crush and underwater electrical impact crush. and the difference between underwater electrical impact crush, mechanical crush and natural aggregates is studied.

VOC 분해 플라즈마-덤프 연소기 특성 (Characteristics of a Plasma-Dump Combustor for VOC Destruction)

  • 휘발성 유기화합물인 VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)는 주로 도색 공정이나 유기용제를 사용하는 업체나 세탁소 등에서 발생된다. 이는 다양한 형태의 탄화수소로 구성되어 있으며 대기 중에 방출되어 희석되므로 그 농도가 낮아 발열량이 크지 않기 때문에 일반 연소기로는 직접 소각처리가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같이 저열량 가스인 VOC를 처리하기 위해 새로운 형태의 플라즈마-덤프 연소기를 제안하였다. 이 연소기는 플라즈마 버너와 덤프 연소기 그리고 3D 매트릭스 버너의 특성이 조합된 형태로 이루어졌다. 따라서 본 연소기는 안정적인 화염형성과 VOC 분해에 필요한 충분한 분해온도와 체류시간을 확보할 수 있는 구조로 되어있다. 플라즈마-덤프 연소기의 성능특성을 규명하기 위해 모사 VOC를 톨루엔으로 하여 VOC 공급량과 농도 그리고 VOC 인젝터 위치 등에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. VOC 인젝터 위치를 바깥쪽으로 하여 톨루엔의 농도가 3,000 ppm인 VOC를 450 L/min 공급한 경우 VOC 분해효율이 89.64%이고 에너지 효율은 1.227 kg/kWh으로 기존의 연소기에 비해 우수한 성능을 보였다.
