Basic Study on Selective Visual Search by Eyetracking - Image arond the Department Store Space - (시선추적을 이용한 선택적 시각탐색에 대한 기초적 연구 - 백화점매장 공간 이미지를 중심으로 -)

  • Gaze induction characteristics in space vary depending on characteristics of spatial components and display. This study analyzed dominant eye-fixation characteristics of three zones of department store space. Eye-fixation characteristics depending on spatial components and positional relationship can be defined as follows. First, [**.jpg] was used as an extension in the process of storing the image photographed during image data processing for analysis in pixels and due to compressed storage of image data, the image produced with a clear boundary was stored in neutral colors. To remove this problem, the image used in operation was re-processed in black and white and stored in the [**.bmp] format with large capability, at the same time. As the result, the effort caused by unnecessary colors in the program operation process was corrected. Second, the gaze ratio to space area can be indicated as a strength of each gaze zone and when analyzing the gaze strength of the three zones, the left store was a zone with a "little strong" gaze strength of "102.8", the middle space was a zone with an "extremely weak" gaze strength of "89.6" and the right store was a zone with an "extremely strong" gaze strength of "117.2". Third, the IV section had a strong strength of gaze on the middle space and the right store and the V section showed a markedly strong strength of gaze on the left and right stores. This tendency was the same as the VI section with the strongest gaze strength and the right store had a little strong gaze strength than the left store.

THE EFFECT OF THE DIFFERENCE OF THE IMPLANT FIXTURE AND ABUTMENT DIAMETER FOR STRESS DISTRIBUTION (임프란트 고정체와 지대주 직경의 차이가 응력분포에 미치는 영향)

  • Statement of problem : Stress concentration on the neck bone affects the bone resorption, and finally the implant survival. Purpose: In order to examine the stress distribution on the neck bone and prosthesis abutment for implants, decreasing abutment sizes were used. Material and methods : Axisymmetric models were used to obtain the data required. These models were composed of 4mm implants with 3.4mm and 4mm abutments, 5mm implants with 3.4mm and 5mm abutments and 6mm implants with 3.4mm and 6mm abutments. All abutments were designed to received a 10mm high by 10mm diameter gold crown. Functional element analysis was used to obtain these results using data that consisted of 50 N vertical and 45 degree inclination forces. Results : 1. Changing the diameter of the abutment on the implant affects the effect of the inclination forces more than the effect of the vortical forces. 2. Experimentation showed that the larger diameter implants provided a decreased neck bone stress, whereas a larger diameter abutment provided a decrease marginal abutment stress. 4. Experimentation showed that the neck bone and abutment received more stress from inclination forces than vertical forces, Conclusions: By decreasing the size of the abutment on the implant we were able to diminishneck bone stress.

Clinical Analysis of Foreign Bodies in Gastrointestinal Tract in Children (소아에서 위장관내 이물질의 임상적 고찰)

  • Foreign body ingestion is a common problem among paediatric populations. Most of the ingested foreign bodies spontaneously pass through the gastrointestinal tract, but approximately less then 10% of them remain without being discharged, and trigger complications. Therefore, proper evaluation and treatment according to the situation is required. In this study, clinical progress and complications were analyzed according to the clinical features and treatment in children who ingested foreign bodies. Among pediatric patients under 18 who were admitted to Chonnam National University Hospital after ingesting foreign bodies between January 2008 to June 2012, only the patients who had their foreign body in the gastrointestinal tract were included in this study. Based on medical records, age, type of foreign body, time spent till admission, and whether the endoscopy was done or not, complication were researched retrospectively. According to symptoms and plain abdomen X-ray findings, treatment was chosen and conducted among endoscopy, observation and emergency operation. Among 273 patients, 9 (3.3%) of them had surgical removal. Seven (2.6%) of them had an emergency operation on the day of admission, and the rest 2 (0.7%) had operation during observation. Removal through initial endoscopic approach was tried in 157 (57.5%) patients. Eleven (70.8%) of them had their foreign body removed at the initial trial, and 5 (4.9%) of them at the second trial. Among 109, who were on observation status, 9 (8.3%) of them needed endoscopic removal, and 2 (1.8%) of them suffered from surgical removal. It is thought to be better to approach slowly considering the type, size and symptoms in foreign body ingestion of pediatric patients, rather than immediate and invasive removal.

Nursing students' initial clinical experience (간호학생의 첫 임상실습 경험)

  • In order to help students through their initial clinical experience, faculty must understand more fully the moaning of this experience for nursing students. This study was performed to understand and to explain what is the essential structure of nursing students' initial clinical experience. A grounded theory approach was conducted to explore the actual experience of nursing students' first clinical experience. Each of the nursing students' descriptions about their initial clinical experience was analyzed using Strauss & Corbin's method. The results of the study were as follows : From the 172 written descriptions and 7 in-depth individual interviews, 128 concepts were extracted. After identifying the concepts' formulated meaning, they were organized into 29 subcategories and the following 12 categories . burden, encountering difficulties, self-discovery, grasping actuality, acquirement of nurse's nature, special character of experience, special character of relationship, external effect, problem oriented coping, emotional oriented coping, affection for nursing, skeptical view of nursing. Five hypotheses were derived from the analysis. 1) Burden is an obstacle to grasp nursing actuality. 2) Special character of experience and external effect have an effect on grasping nursing actuality, 3) Encouragement, a part of external effects, will increase nursing student's affection for nursing. 4) Affection for nursing through first clinical experience facilitates positive nursing view and scholarly zest. 5) Disappointment with the difference be tween theory and reality will cause the student to take a skeptical view of nursing. It is hoped that the knowledge gained from this qualitative study will enable faculty to enter more fully Into the world of nursing students as they embark on their initial clinical experience.

In this paper, infinite failures NHPP models that repairing software failure point in time reflects the situation, was presented for comparing property. The result is that a relatively large shape parameter was effectively.   • Usually, much harmonics are included and cause harmonic loss of motor, torque pulsation, electro-magnetic noise and shock etc. by switching function of inverter when drive induction motor variableness inside. It applied partial resonant Buck converter and three phase voltage type SPWM inverter circuit to induction motor driving system in this paper that see to solve such problem. Changed operation condition variously to do input current of circuit that propose sine-wave by unit power factor almost and capacitor supplied bringing back to life voltage by power supply arranging properly assistance diode and electric power switching. Power factor and efficiency improved as that minimize variation of input at power supply voltage polarity reverse by that add voltage reversal function. Also, by using output filter, reduced harmonic of output line to line voltage components, and introduce state space analysis and forecast operation of rectifier. Such all items confirmed validity through simulation and an experiment.

  • A substitute energy development has been required due to the exhaust of the fossil fuel and an environmental problem. Consequently, possible technologies producing hydrogen from water that does not release carbon is a very promising technology. Also, Iodine-Sulfur(IS) thermochemical water decomposition is one of the promising processes that are used to produce hydrogen efficiently using the high temperature gas-cooled reactor(HTGR) as an energy source that is possible to supply heat over 900$^{\circ}C$. In this study, to make a initiating events identification for the IS process, Master Logic Diagram(MLD) is used and 9 initiating events that cause a leakage of the chemical material are identified. Also, 6 events are identified among 9 initiating events above and are quantified using event tree.

  • To analyze influences under faults caused by a stator winding short and to evaluate an effectiveness of a diagnostic algorithm a faulty model for an inverter-driven permanent magnet synchronous motor is presented. Even though the conventional dq motor model obtained through the transformation of phase voltage model is widely used to analyze and control the motor, it can not be used in the analysis of a faulty motor since the 3-phase balanced condition is no longer hold under the fault caused by a stator winding short, and thus, it is very difficult to obtain motor input voltages from the pole voltage of an inverter. To overcome this problem, a faulty model for an inverter-driven permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed by considering the line voltage of 3-phase variables. The effectiveness of the proposed faulty model is verified through comparative simulations and experiments using DSP TMS320F28335 and motor built to allow a partial short of inter-turn.

A Study on the Deformation Characteristics on Underground Pipe to Backfill Material Types Using Finite Element Method (유한요소해석을 통한 되메움재 종류에 따른 지하매설관의 변형 특성 연구)

  • When underground pipe is installed, backfill materials need proper compaction. But in case of circular underground pipe, compaction of backfill material is difficult and compaction efficiency is poor at beloe the pipe. It caused the stability of underground pipe is reduced and various damages occurred. One of the solutions to solve this problem for underground pipe is to use controlled low strength material (CLSM). CLSM is made by concept of low strength concrete, which is applied to geotechnical engineering field. The representative characteristics of CLSM are self-leveling, self-compacting and flowability. In addition, its strength can be controlled and its construction method is simple. The behavior of underground pipe was investigated by finite element analysis for various backfill materials under same condition. As a result, in case of using the CLSM as backfill material, surface settlement and displacement of pipe are reduced comparing with those in case of using field soil or sand.
