Sensitivity Analysis of JLSP Inventory Model with Ordering Cost inclusive of a Freight Cost under Trade Credit in a Two-stage Supply Chain

  • This study analyzes the distributor's inventory model in a two-stage supply chain consisting of the supplier, the distributor and the end customer. The supplier will allow a credit period before the distributor settles the account with him in order to stimulate the demand for the product he produces. It is also assumed that the distributor pays the shipping cost for the order and hence, the distributor's ordering cost consists of a fixed ordering cost and the shipping cost that depend on the order quantity. The availability of the delay in payments from the supplier enables discount of the distributor's selling price from a wider range of the price option in anticipation of increased customer's demand. As a result, the availability of a credit transaction leads to an increase in inventory levels. On the other hand, in the case of deteriorating products in which the utility of the product perish over time, the deterioration rate with time plays a role in reducing inventory levels. In this regard, we analyze the effect of the length of the credit period and the degree of product deterioration on the distributor's inventory level. For the analysis, we formulate the distributor's annual net profit and analyze the effect of the length of credit period and deterioration rate of the product on inventory policy numerically.

The Difference of Price Zone Evaluation According to Type of Consumer and Purchasing Behavior

  • This study examines whether there are differences in consumer's evaluation price zone on the clothing clue (the type of clothing, brand, time of fashion, place of origin, material. submaterial, place for sale) according to consumer purchasing behavior. Therefore the ultimate goal is to offer help in fixing price when establishing marketing of the clothing industry by grasping the actual price set by consumers under the IMP system. The female consumers of 20s and 30s were chosen as study subjects for their sensitivity to the purchase of clothing. The tests carried out in this research are: SPSSIPC+ is used for frequency Analysis. The Results of this study are showed as the following: It was analyzed that 4 types of consumer are the reasonable consumption oriented consumer, fashion oriented consumer, the no care of fashion consumer and high price oriented consumer Among the several kinds such as the type of clothing, brand, time of fashion, place of origin, material, submaterial, place for sale, only on the type of clothing, there are difference in the type of the consumers, on the time of buying clothes, in the behavior of buying clothes and also on the degree of fashion and the place of origin among such kinds.

붉은대게 자원관리를 위한 어업관리수단별 생물경제적 효과분석 (A bioeconomic analysis on the effectiveness of fisheries management measures for red snow crab Chionoecetes japonicus)

  • In this study, internationally widely utilized bioeconomic models were used to make a comparison and analyze the effectiveness of red snow crab fisheries management measures. As a specific effect analysis, biological and economic effects of both total allowable catch (TAC) and effort reduction management measures were analyzed simultaneously. Model results showed that the red snow crab biomass would be decreased from 106,000 tons to 73,076 tons after ten years when the TAC is set to and maintained at the current level of 26,000 tons. The amount of biomass would be increased to 125,316 tons when the level of TAC is set to 22,000 tons. In cases of reduced fishing efforts, a 30% decrease from the current level would result in greater biomass and NPV would be also estimated at the highest level. In addition, a sensitivity analysis by market price was conducted to analyze the minimum TAC level of the red snow crab offshore pot fishery. Results showed that the minimum TAC level would be 8,210 tons when the market price increased by 30% and it would be also 15,247 tons when the market price decreased by 30%. Furthermore, results of the sensitivity analysis by fishing cost showed that the minimum TAC level was analyzed to be 13,857 tons when the fishing cost increased by 30% from the current level.

서울 랜드마크 패스의 상품성 분석 (Marketability Analysis of Seoul Landmark Pass)

  • As the number of tourists visiting Seoul are continuously increasing, the demand of an integrative tour pass is also increasing. However, only a few tour passes are available for the tourists in Seoul. In this paper, we propose a new tour pass called "Seoul Landmark Pass" targeting foreign individual travelers and investigate the marketability of the proposed tour pass. For the configuration of the Seoul Landmark Pass we listed 17 candidate attractions charging entrance fee in Seoul, referring to e-guidebook on Visit Seoul web site. Among them we selected 6 attractions using the checklist with the attributes that foreign tourists would prefer. We also performed SWOT analyzes on existing tour passes to determine the benefits to be included in the proposed tour pass. To investigate the marketability of the proposed tour pass we have surveyed the foreign individual tourists in Seoul. Using the survey data, we have analyzed the intent of purchase by age, visiting period, visiting purpose, frequency of visit, and nationality to identify target customers. The results show that the intent of purchase is high among the Chinese tourists at the age of twenties who visited Seoul for the first time or second times. Also, the individual tourists prefer to bundle T-money card with the proposed tour pass. Finally, we have provided a brief review of the Price Sensitivity Measurement (PSM) method and applied PSM to determine the acceptable price range and the optimal price of the proposed tour pass. The optimal price of the proposed tour pass is determined at 53,000 won including T-money card.

PSM기반 중소도시 주상복합 아파트의 분양가 추정에 관한 연구 (PSM based Price Estimating for Local Mixed-Use Apartment Development)

  • 주상복합 아파트는 고급화와 다양한 장점으로 꾸준히 수요가 증가하여 수도권을 중심으로 지속적으로 공급되어 왔다. 지방중소도시의 경우에는 선례도 부족하고 성공을 담보할 수 없어 주상복합 아파트의 공급이 거의 이루어지고 있지 않았다. 현재에는 소득수준이 높아진 지방중소도시에 주상복합 수요가 있으며, 수도권 주택 공급이 포화된 현실에서 새로운 사업으로써 지방중소도시 주상복합 아파트의 공급 사업을 고려할 수 있다. 그러나 사업성의 타당성 분석을 위한 지방중소도시 주택 시장의 기본적인 자료나 관련한 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. 이에 타당성 분석의 기초가 되는 적정 분양가격을 과거 시장가격이 없는 경우에도 적정가격을 추정할 수 있는 PSM 모델을 활용하여 추정하였다. 더불어 이러한 분양가격과, UTP를 통한 가격의 수요 탄력성, 가격결정 요인을 일반 아파트와 주상복합 아파트의 두 경우로 구분하여 각각 도출하고 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 분석결과 OPP 기준으로 봤을 때 주상복합 아파트의 분양가가 일반 아파트의 분양가에 비해 10.8% 높게 추정되었다. UTP도 주상복합 아파트가 높은 것으로 나타났으며 일반아파트 보다 주상복합 아파트의 가격민감도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 가격결정 요인 분석 결과는 일반 아파트와 주상복합 아파트 모두 응답자 연령, 교육수준이 유의한 것으로 나타났으며 주상복합 아파트의 경우 가족 수도 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과를 통해 실무적으로 활용이 가능한 분양가 추정 방법의 제시 뿐만 아니라, 지방중소도시에 주상복합 아파트를 공급할 경우 기존의 일반 아파트에 비해 높은 가격으로 분양가를 산정할 수 있다는 사실을 확인하였다. 더불어 수요탄력성이나 가격결정 요인 등의 결과를 주택 상품 기획을 위한 마케팅 분야에도 활용을 기대할 수 있다.

심해저 망간단괴 개발사업의 경제적 타당성 재평가 (An Economic Feasibility Study of Manganese Nodule in Korea Area: Clarion-Clipperton Fracture Zone)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate economic feasibility of manganese nodules in Korea area (Clarion-Clipperton Fracture Zone). We assumed that the production scale of manganese nodules were 3.0MT or 1.5MT and analyzed that the capital cost and operating cost were estimated in the four sectors, exploration, mining, transportation and metallurgical process. The capital cost and operating cost evaluation reflects the latest technical practices. First, for analyzing economic feasibility, the scenario suggests that the production of 4 metals can be made for 25 years. Assuming the discount rate at 8.0%, equity capital at 50% and tax at 27%. When manganese nodule were mininged 3.0 MT, economic feasibility analyses showed that IRR was 12.8 and pay-back period was 9.2 years, and when manganese nodules were mininged 1.5 MT, economic feasibility analyses showed that IRR was 4.0 and pay-back period was 11.8 years. This study indicated there is economic validity of at the product of manganese nodules 3.0 MT. In addition, we carried out a sensitivity analysis at the change of cobalt price on mining 1.5 MT. The result of sensitivity analysis clearly showed that economic validity is high at increasing of cobalt price 50% up.

중고패션제품의 구매경험에 따른 소비자 특성 (The Comparison of Consumer Characteristics according to Purchasing Experience of Secondhand Fashion Goods)

  • This study explored the differences in consumer characteristics-consumer self-confidence, attitude toward, trust and purchase intention for secondhand fashion goods, self-confidence in fashion coordination, price sensitivity for fashion product, and environment conservation consciousness-according to purchasing experience of secondhand fashion goods. A set of questionnaire was administered to 400 university students in Daegu from 18 to 28 April 2011. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, frequency, t-tests. Secondhand fashion goods shoppers were 135(37%) and non-shoppers were 230(63%). The difference analysis results between the two groups were as follows. First, in consumer self-confidence, shoppers showed higher than non-shoppers except persuasion knowledge, and there was no difference in marketplace interfaces between the two groups. Second, there were significant differences in attitude toward secondhand fashion goods, trust and purchase intention for secondhand fashion goods between the two groups. Third, shoppers had higher self-confidence in fashion coordination than non-shoppers, but there was no difference in environment conservation consciousness and price sensitivity for fashion product between the two groups. For future study, it is suggested to find out more general characteristics of secondhand fashion goods shoppers covering other age brackets.

A methodology for uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analysis for responses subject to Monte Carlo uncertainty with application to fuel plate characteristics in the ATRC

  • Large-scale reactor simulation often requires the use of Monte Carlo calculation techniques to estimate important reactor parameters. One drawback of these Monte Carlo calculation techniques is they inevitably result in some uncertainty in calculated quantities. The present study includes parametric uncertainty quantification (UQ) and sensitivity analysis (SA) on the Advanced Test Reactor Critical (ATRC) facility housed at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and addresses some complications due to Monte Carlo uncertainty when performing these analyses. This approach for UQ/SA includes consideration of Monte Carlo code uncertainty in computed sensitivities, consideration of uncertainty from directly measured parameters and a comparison of results obtained from brute-force Monte Carlo UQ versus UQ obtained from a surrogate model. These methodologies are applied to the uncertainty and sensitivity of keff for two sets of uncertain parameters involving fuel plate geometry and fuel plate composition. Results indicate that the less computationally-expensive method for uncertainty quantification involving a linear surrogate model provides accurate estimations for keff uncertainty and the Monte Carlo uncertainty in calculated keff values can have a large effect on computed linear model parameters for parameters with low influence on keff.

UHDTV서비스 수용 요인 연구 (Factors of Influencing on UHDTV Acceptance)

  • 본 연구에서는 UHDTV서비스 이용의사에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구방법은 기술수용 모델을 중심으로 연구모형을 설계하고 구조방정식 분석을 실시했다. 독립변수로는 인지된 품질, 가격 민감도, 혁신성, 매개변수로는 인지된 유용성과 인지된 사용용이성, 종속변수로는 이용의사를 설정했다. 설문조사는 인터넷과 스마트폰을 통하여 실시하였으며 빈도분석 및 기술통계분석은 SPSS, 연구의 모형 분석과 가설 검증은 PLS를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 독립변수인 인지된 품질과 가격 민감도는 각각 매개변수인 인지된 유용성, 인지된 사용용이성을 통해 UHDTV의 이용의사에 유의미한 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 혁신성의 경우, 매개변수인 인지된 사용용이성에는 유의미한 정의 영향을 미치는 반면 인지된 유용성에는 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 사용자들은 UHDTV를 혁신적인 신기술 혹은 뉴미디어로 생각하기보다 아직까지 기존 TV의 연장선으로 간주하는 것으로 해석된다. 또 인지된 품질은 다른 요인에 비해 영향력이 큰 편으로, 사용자들의 양질의 UHD콘텐츠 수요를 반영한다.

담합관련 손해배상 소송의 경제분석에서 고려해야 할 이론 및 실증적 쟁점: 수송용 연료시장에의 적용 (Theoretical and Empirical Issues in Conducting an Economic Analysis of Damage in Price-Fixing Litigation: Application to a Transportation Fuel Market)

  • 본 연구에서는 담합의 경제분석에서 고려해야 할 쟁점들을 논의한 후, 이러한 쟁점들을 반영한 방법론을 특정 수송용 연료시장의 분석에 적용하였다. 가상 경쟁가격과 과잉징수를 산정하는 5가지 방법 중 표준시장비교방법에 기반한 회귀분석방법이 최선이다. 수송용 연료시장에서와 같이 국제가격과 환율이 국내가격에 영향을 미치는 제품의 실거래가격을 분석하는 경우 논리에 부합하면서 유연한 함수형태는 로그-로그 함수형태이다. 경제분석의 대상이 되는 자료가 시계열자료인 경우에 ARDL 모형을 시장별 회귀분석모형의 근간으로 채택하는 것이 필요하며, 표준시장비교방법에 기반한 회귀분석방법에서는 구성 회귀식 간에 모수제약이 포함된 ARDL 회귀식 체계를 구축하고 system FGLS로 추정하여야 한다. Friedman 동질성 검정을 통하여 표준시장 여부를 판별할 수 있다. 통계적 유의성은 불확실성 하에서 입증하고자 하는 명제를 확립하는데 요구되는 최소의 요건이다. 담합관련 소송의 경제분석에서는 민감도 분석은 그다지 유용성이 없으며, 최적모형 선별과정이 더 중요한 절차이다. 위 방법론을 특정 수송용 연료시장의 분석에 적용한 결과, 해당 시장에서는 담합에 기인하는 손해액이 없다는 귀무가설을 기각할 수 없었다.
