국내 광생물학적 수소생산의 경제성 평가 (Economic Evaluation of Domestic Photobiological Hydrogen Production)

  • This paper deals with an economic evaluation of domestic photobiological hydrogen production. We evaluate the economic feasibility of domestic photobiological hydrogen production utilizing green algae and cyanobacteria. In addition, we make some sensitivity analysis of hydrogen production prices by changing the values of input factors such as the price of a photo-bioreactor and the value of solar to hydrogen efficiency. The estimated hydrogen production price of the two-step indirect biophotolysis was 12,099won/kg$H_2$. It is expected that the hydrogen production price by the two-step indirect biophotolysis can be reduced to 2,143won/kg$H_2$ if the solar to hydrogen efficiency is increased to 10% and the price of a photo-bioreactor is decreased to $25/$m^2$. The two-step indirect biophotolysis is evaluated as uneconomical at this time, and we need to enhance the solar to hydrogen efficiency and to reduce the prices of the photo-bioreactor and system facilities.

인터넷시장과 종래시장의 가격행태 비교 (An Empirical Study on Pricing Behaviors of Internet and Conventional Markets)

  • With the progress of Internet and e-commerce, there have been many researches on the market efficiency of the Internet markets using real price data. Contrary to the common expectations by many economists, most of the previous researches have fatted to prove that the Internet market is more efficient than the conventional market. This paper empirically analyzes the pricing behavior of Internet and conventional retailers in South Korea. We have collected real price data on CDs and TVs from various types of retailers, from which we have analyzed three aspects of pricing behavior : price level, price change over time, and price dispersion across the retailers. We have found that the average prices of CDs and TVs at the Internet retailers are lower than those at the conventional retailers. We have also found that there is a close association between the behaviors (e.g., magnitude and timing of changes) of TV prices at the Internet retailers and those at the conventional retailers. It has been observed that the range of the CD prices at the internet retailers is less than a half of the range at the conventional retailers, which can be considered as an evidence of a relatively stronger price competition at the Internet market compared with the conventional market.

위탁 급식 점포의 메뉴 운영 요인이 메뉴 효율성에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Menu Factors on DEA Menu Efficiency in Contract-Foodservice Operations)

  • The objective of this study was to suggest a new efficiency measurement indicator for evaluating the menu management efficiency of decision making units(DMUs) in contract-foodservice operations and to determine the relationship between the DEA(data envelopment analysis) menu efficiency score and menu factors. The results of applying DEA revealed relatively efficient types of service and frequency of meals. The efficient service was shown as a self-service type that operates Monday to Saturday. The considered menu factors included meal price, food cost per meal, meal counts, number of menu items, use of favorite menu use, forecasting error, accuracy of ordering, ratio of inventory, ratio of food loss, use of processed foods and use of prepared vegetables are considered. There were significant correlations between the DEA score and meal price, meal counts, number of menu items, ratio of food loss, accuracy of ordering and use of processed foods respectively. According to the regression results, menu price had a positive influence on the DEA menu efficiency score, and food cost per meal and the use of prepared foods had negative influences respectively.

정보통신 및 전력 제품에 대한 소비자 효율성 연구 (Analysis on Consumption Efficiency of IT and Electronic Products)

  • 시장에는 다양한 속성과 가격의 제품이 동시에 존재하고 있으며, 소비자가 이 제품들 중에서 어떠한 제품을 선택했는지 살펴봄으로써 그 소비 행위가 어느 정도 효율적이었는지 판단할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 소비 효율성을 가격과 속성의 관점에서 정의하고, DEA 기법을 이용하여 한국의 주요 정보통신 및 전력 제품에 대한 소비자 효율성을 측정하고자 하였다. 분석 결과 에어컨, TV, 디지털 카메라, MP3 플레이어, 컴퓨터 시장에서는 상대적 효율성이 낮은 제품이 많이 선택된 반면, 냉장고와 세탁기 시장에서는 소비자의 효율성 분포가 정규 분포에 가까운 형태로 나타났다. 또한 정보 구득 관련 항목에 대한 설문 결과를 함께 고려하여 제품별 효율성 차이를 설명하고자 하였으며, 마지막으로 개별 소비자의 효율성과 특성 변수가 전력 사용량에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 소비 효율성이라는 개념을 정량적으로 측정하여 해당 제품의 시장에 대한 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있으며, 제품의 구매와 에너지 사용을 함께 고려함으로써 분석의 범위를 확대하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

단일가격시장에서 손실보상효율계수의 특성 분석 (Analysis of Loss Compensation Efficiency Factor in the Uniform Price Market)

  • In the uniform price electricity market or bilateral electricity market, the energy transactions in which the network is not considered and ISO's system operation costs which ISO try to minimize are settled separately. In this paper, transmission loss, one of the ISO's system operation costs, was dealt. The conventional marginal loss allocation method gives economic signals but three aspects have to be considered; excessiveness, arbitrariness and cross-subsidy. In this paper, marginal loss compensation efficiency method was suggested which consider those aspects of the conventional marginal loss allocation method. Also the characteristics of the marginal loss compensation efficiency were analyzed in the appendixes. And simple 2-bus system and IEEE 14 bus system were used to explain these characteristics.

  • This study focuses on MRO e-Marketplace and attempts to research how companies select the structure of e-Marketplace governance and how it influences purchasing performance. Furthermore, a longitudinal study is conducted to analyze the dynamic relationship between variables in our research model. The research gives the following results. First, as the utilization level of e-Marketplace increases, the level of relational exchange between purchasing company and e-Marketplace increases. The increased utilization level enhances purchasing efficiency rather than reducing purchasing price. Secondly, as the level of relational exchange between purchasing companies and e-Marketplace increases, system integration increases, whereas supply externality decreases. Accordingly, system integration improves purchasing efficiency, whereas the low supply externality does not help lower purchasing price. Third, compared to the initial growth stage, the stable stage of e-Marketplace has the significantly increased level of relational exchange and purchasing efficiency through system integration, rather than the reduction of purchasing price by supply externality.

인구통계적 특성에 따른 자동차 선택의 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Preference for Choosing an Automobiles according to the Demographic Characteristics)

  • Automobile manufacturing companies should provide the products and service that can satisfy consumers who usually want various kinds of automobiles. This paper studied the relations among several demographic characteristics(gender, age, occupation, income) of consumers and automobile's attributes(engine performance, engine displacement, price, maintenance expenses, color, etc.) and preferred automobile(kind, size, company, price). For the relation research we established a model and related hypotheses and used a questionnaire survey, where 350 subjects were questioned. After the analysis, many statistically significant results are obtained : consumer's gender has relations with the preference for engine performance, engine displacement, price, color, and design; age has relations with the preference for engine displacement, maintenance expenses, free checking during A/S period, etc., occupation has relations with the preference for engine performance, engine displacement, price, maintenance expenses, fuel efficiency, etc. : income has relations with the preference for engine performance, engine displacement, price, maintenance expenses, mileage, reputation of car manufacturing companies, etc.; price and fuel efficiency has relations with the preference for car manufacturing companies. These results suggest the consumer-oriented sales of automobiles and are expected to be helpful for the effective strategy development of automobile marketing.

Is Foreign Investors' behavior Involved in Investor Sentiment? Evidence Based on the Korean Stock Crashes

  • This study investigates whether foreign investors' behavior is involved in firm-specific investor sentiment. Because the mixed role of foreign investors on investor sentiment formation seems to exist in the Korean stock market, it needs to examine the moderate or incremental effect of foreign investors on the stock price crash risk which is due to investor sentiment. The analysis results using Korea Stock Exchanges - listed firms for the period of 2011-2019 show the increased future stock price crash risk which is attributable to high investor sentiment is mitigated for firms with the high foreign ownership, indicating the moderate effect. This study expands the literature on the foreign investors' behavior in the Korean stock market, by showing foreign investors are not involved in firm-specific investor sentiment, which improves market's efficiency in the Korean stock market. Also, the paper is valuable to the academic and practice field in that the findings shed light on the foreign investors' mitigating role in stock price crashes in the behavioral finance perspective.

수산물 산지거점유통센터(FPC)를 통한 유통효율화가 산지 위판에 미치는 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of Increase in Distribution Efficiency through Fisheries Products Processing & Marketing Center (FPC) on Consignment Sales)

  • In this study, the effect of Distribution efficiency through the fishery production base distribution center (FPC) on the production site board facility was studied. FPC is a new distribution system for Korean fishery products that has been promoted in earnest since 2012, and in this study, the effect before and after the introduction of FPC was analyzed using the DID (Difference in Difference) model for the effect of FPC in the fishery industry. The results of analysis shows that in the case of Wando Geumil FPC, the volume and unit price of consignment sales decreased during the analysis period, which was statistically significant. In the case of Sokcho FPC, the volume of consignment sales decreased during the analysis period, which was statistically insignificant. But the unit price of consignment sales rose during the analysis period, which was statistically significant. In the case of Gyeongju FPC, the volume of consignment sales increased during the analysis period, which was statistically significant at the 90% confidence level. But the unit price of consignment sales fell during the analysis period, which was statistically significant.

산업 전력요금 인상의 공급가격 및 전력수요 절감 효과 분석:국내 제조업 부문을 대상으로 (An analysis on the effects of higher power rates on supply price and power savings for Korean manufacturing sector)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 제조업 가운데 전력 사용량이 상대적으로 많은 화합물 및 화학제품 산업을 대상으로 암묵 (shadow) 비용함수를 사용하여 전력 등의 투입요소 간 효율적 배분 여부를 검증하고 전력의 적정수준 대비 과잉 투입 규모를 조사한다. 기업의 비용최소화 달성을 전제로 각 투입요소에 대한 수요의 가격탄력성을 추정하여 전력요금 인상에 대한 각 요소 수요의 파급효과를 모의실험을 통하여 분석한다. 또한 공급관계식을 비용함수의 방정식체계에 추가하여 동시 추정함으로써 전력요금 10% 인상 시 물가지수에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 실증분석 결과, 1982-2006년 기간 동안 '투입요소 간 효율적 배분 달성'의 귀무가설은 기각되었으며, 전력은 적정수준 대비 평균적으로 매년 약 98% 과잉 사용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 다른 요인들이 불변하다면 전력요금이 10% 인상될 경우 전력 수요는 약 11.4% 감소하였으며, 공급가격은 평균적으로 0.08% 하락하는 것으로 나타났다.
