로울링법을 이용한 고온 초전도 다심선재 제조 (Fabrication of multi-layer $high-T_c$ superconducting tapes by a rolling process)

  • High-T$_{c}$, superconducting wire is very important element for the application of electrical power systems. But it is very difficult to develope the long high T, wire with excellent properties. BiSrCaCuO multi-layer tapes are fabricated by a rolling method and pressing method sintered for several step at 840.deg. C. The critical current densities of 637 filament multi-layer tapes sintering 100 hours fabricated by the rolling method and pressing method are 1.3*10$^{4}$ A/cm$^{2}$ and 5.5*10$^{3}$ A/cm$^{2}$. The critical cur-rent densites of multi-layer tapes made by rolling method are found to be better than those fabricated by the powder-in-tube method and pressing process. As result, the rolling method is the best way to fabricated the multi-layer filament.t.

플래시 발생 억제형 신발 밑창 금형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Shoe Outsole Mold for Flash-less)

  • In this study, to develop a flash-less mold for forming of shoe-outsole, experiments and forming analysis were carried out. In order to reduce the extra-materials, offset method and mass distribution method are used in the preform design. The vertical mold structure pressing the preform was introduced to produce a flash-less shoe-sole. To measure the contact status of parting surface of mold, the pressure film has been used. The guide-gutter system and the continuous pressing mold have been developed for the discharge of extra-materials and re-pressing. By the investigation, flash of shoe-outsole was considerably reduced.

  • An artificial body force method is presented to accurately simulate drawing processes in which back pressing is exerted. A rigid-plastic finite element method is applied together with a numerical scheme to eliminate the numerically incurred plastic deformation in rigid or elastic region, which significantly influences simulation results because it eventually changes reduction of area in drawing. Back tension or compression is applied by body force at the rear part of material to obtain numerically stable solution. Two typical examples are shown, a drawing process with back tension applied and a tube drawing with a fixed plug and back pressing applied.

  • We investigated preparation of 1-3 PZT composites for medical ultrasonic transducer array (briefly UTA) using micro pressing method. The proposed process was using pressing PZT green sheet by PMMA micro mold obtained from X-ray lithography. Microstructures, electriacl and electro-mechanical properties of fabricated composites were analyzed. Dielectric constant at 1kHz and thickness mode electro-mechanical coupling coefficient of $6.2mm{\times}6.2mm{\times}422{\mu}m$ UTA sample were 1754 and 51%, respectively. Microstructures of sintered PZT showed dense and uniform. And PZT phases were well crystallized. Micro pressing method is a mass productive process in case of using injection molded PMMA by batch type LIGA process.

Influence of Processing Conditions on PVDF Properties

  • Study of the main properties of PVDF films produced by two processing technologies such as hot pressing from a melt or solution casting was the aim of this paper. All samples were prepared of as-received PVDF powder. First group of samples was prepared by the hot pressing. Second group of samples was prepared by the solution casting method. PVDF powder was dissolved in dimethylformamide. To characterize properties of samples, different experimental methods such as FRA (dielectric spectroscopy), IR-spectroscopy and DSC/TGA analysis were used in this work. It was found that IR-spectra of both studied groups do not change compared to that for virgin PVDF powder. It confirms that molecular structure is practically independent on the processing technology of samples. The only difference has been found that new band centered at $1723\;cm^{-1}$ appears for samples prepared by the hot pressing method. This absorption band is related with formation of C=C bonds in samples prepared by the hot pressing method in contrast both to PVDF powder and samples prepared by the solution casting method.

  • 본 1부 연구에서는 스파크 플라스마 열에 의한 그린 세라믹의 소결에서 열전달 및 가압력으로 인한 상대밀도의 변화를 유한요소법(FEM)으로 해석하고 그 결과에 따른 입자성장을 몬테카를로법(MCM)을 이용하여 전산모사하는 방법을 제시하기 위하여 SPS의 FEH 해석과 MCM 해석의 이론적 배경을 기술한다.

End shape and rotation effect on steel pipe pile installation effort and bearing resistance

  • The current study focuses on the effect of the end shape of steel pipe piles on installation effort and bearing resistance using the pressing method of installation under dense ground conditions. The effect of pile rotation on the installation effort and bearing resistance is also investigated. The model steel piles with a flat end, cone end and cutting-edge end were used in this study. The test results indicated that cone end pile with the pressing method of installation required the least installation effort (load) and showed higher ultimate resistance than flat and cutting-edge end piles. However, pressing and rotation during cutting-edge end pile installation considerably reduces the installation effort (load and torque) if pile penetration in one rotation equal to the cutting-edge depth. Inclusion of rotation during pile installation reduces the ultimate bearing resistance. However, if penetration of the cutting-edge end pile equal to the cutting-edge depth in one rotation, the reduction in ultimate resistance can be minimized. In comparing the cone and cutting-edge end piles installed with pressing and rotation, the least installation effort is observed in the cutting-edge end pile installed with penetration rate equal to the cutting-edge depth per rotation.

  • Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) has been employed to produce materials with ultra-fine grains that have high strength and high corrosion resistance properties. In order to obtain super plastic deformation during ECAP, multipass angular pressing is frequently employed. In this paper, three-dimensional finite element analyses have been performed to investigate the deformation behavior of pure-Zr specimen and the effects of process parameters for equal channel multi-angular pressing (ECMAP) process. The results have been compared with some experimental results

파티클보드의 밀도경사와 흡음성 개선을 위한 열압기술 (Hot Pressing Technology for Improvement of Density Profile and Sound Absorption Capability of Particleboard)

  • 파티클보드의 두께방향으로 밀도경사와 흡음성 개선을 위한 새로운 열압방식개발을 위하여 본 과제를 수행하였다. 적용한 열압방식으로는 기존의 평판가열식 열압방식(A-type pressing), 성형장치내 열압방식(B-type pressing), 그리고 성형장치내 요철카울을 설치한 열압방식(C-type pressing)을 적용하였다. 원료목질은 낙엽송 세이빙을 사용하였으며, 접착제로는 수용성 페놀-포름알데하이드 접착제를 사용하였다. 흡음성 개선을 위한 보드는 열압시 요철카울에 의하여 보드 이면에 계단형 공극을 생성하였다. 열압방식별 제조된 보드의 물리적 및 기계적 성질을 측정하였는 바, 성형장치내 열압을 함으로써 강도적 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 보드의 두께방향 밀도경사 역시 평균밀도에 대한 최소밀도의 비율이 90% 이상을 나타내어 기존의 평판가열식으로 제조한 보드 보다 크게 개선시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 열압시 요철카울에 의하여 천공을 해 줌으로써 파티클보드의 흡음계수를 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타남으로써 향후 저밀도 후판보드 제조가능성과 흡음재 등 새로운 건축내장재료로의 사용가능성을 확인하였다.

압착방법별 포도 착즙액의 품질특성 (Effect of Pressing Methods on the Quality of Grape Juices)

  • 캠벨과 거봉을 이용하여 여러 가지 압착방법에 따른 착즙액의 이화학적 및 관능적 특성을 조사하였다. 수율의 경우 캠벨, 거봉이 동일하게 냉압처리보다는 온압처리가, 온압처리에서도 낮은 온도보다는 높은 온도에서 수율이 높게 나타났으며, 또 온압·펙틴분해 병행처리가 각각 83.5%, 87.3%로 가장 높은 수율을 나타내었다. 또한 당도와 아미노태 질소도 열처리온도의 상승 및 압착방법의 병행에 의해 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 적정산도는 캠벨과 거봉이 압착방법에 따라 각각 0.86∼l.00%, 0.60∼0.69%로 거봉에 비해 캠벨의 산도가 높았으며, 열처리온도가 산도 증감에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 압착방법에 따른 착즙액에 대한 관능검사 결과 열처리온도의 상승 및 압착방법의 병행에 의해 떫은 맛과 신맛의 강도가 강하여지고 이들 처리구의 기호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
