Background: A presentation attack places the printed image or displayed video at the front of the sensor to deceive the biometric recognition system. Usually, presentation attackers steal a genuine user's biometric image and use it for presentation attack. In recent years, reconstruction attack and adversarial attack can generate high-quality fake images, and have high attack success rates. However, their attack rates degrade remarkably after image shooting. Methods: In order to comprehensively analyze the threat of presentation attack to palmprint recognition system, this paper makes six palmprint presentation attack datasets. The datasets were tested on texture coding-based recognition methods and deep learning-based recognition methods. Results and conclusion: The experimental results show that the presentation attack caused by the leakage of the original image has a high success rate and a great threat; while the success rates of reconstruction attack and adversarial attack decrease significantly.

This paper describes the design and implementation of multimedia presentation system based on the compensative synchronization algorithm. We proposed the compensative synchronization algorithm in compensation for previously preestimated delay-time in order to minimize delay-time in multimedia presentation system. The presentation system uses compensative synchronization algorithm and have multimedia objects as text, raster graphics, geometric graphics, or audio.

Currently, with the development of web 2.0 knowledge sharing system became more and more important. In this paper, we proposed and implemented seminar assistant system using database system and knowledge sharing system on public seminar. We recorded speaker's voice and presentation files on our system and user can review past talks on our seminar review systems. Our database system is implemented using MS SQL, and Input/Output Completion Port(IOCP) socket model as our server side network module. Also we used presentation software using Direct Show with MFC and Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF). and our review system is based on WFP programmed with C# language.

In this study, we propose a 3D virtual reality based presentation training system to help implement the virtual presentation environment, such as the real world, to present it confidently in the real world. The proposed system provided a realistic and highly engaging presentation and interview environment by analyzing the speakers' voice and behavior in real time to be reflected in the audience of the virtual space. Using HMD and VR Controller that become 6DOF Tracking, the presenter can change the timing and interaction of the virtual space using Kinect, and the virtual space can be changed to various settings set by the user. The presenter will look at presentation files and scripts displayed in separate views within the virtual space to understand the content and master the presentation.
The purpose of this study was to examine ways of ensuring the efficiency and stability of import-export logistics in our country by introducing an advance presentation system of vessel manifest. This advance presentation system of vessel manifest has already been introduced in the United States, the EU and China whom our country has actively traded with, and the reinforcement of logistics security is a global trend. Under the circumstances, the introduction of the advance presentation system of vessel manifest is required to assist exporters to properly respond to changing trade practices as early as possible, and it's also necessary to exercise stricter control over an import criminal cargo. Our country should urgently introduce the advance presentation system of vessel manifest that is up to global standard, and the establishment of an internet based manifest consolidation and presentation system and the introduction of an export inspection system of port of loading are requested as well. If all the systems are introduced and work properly, that will make a great contribution to the efficiency of import-export logistics in our country.

Web-based virtual collaboration is increasingly gaining popularity in almost every area in our society due to the fact that it can bridge the gap imposed by time and geographical constraints. However, in medical field, such collaboration has been less popular than other fields. Some of the reasons were timeliness, security, and preciseness of the information they are dealing with. In this paper, we are proposing a web-based distributed medical collaboration system called Virtual Collaboration System for Medicine (VCSM) for medical doctors that meet the needs. The proposed system consists of two parts - multimedia presentation and recordable virtual collaboration. The former supports synchronized multimedia presentation using Synchronous Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL.) It allows synchronization of the contents of a PowerPoint presentation file and a video file. The presentation may be provided to the participants before the discussion begins. Next, in the virtual collaboration stage, participants can use text along with associated symbols during the discussion over the presented medical images. The symbols such as arrows or polygons can be set or removed dynamically to represent areas of interest in digital images using so called layered architecture that separates image layer from annotation layer. XML files are used to record participants' opinions along with the symbols over some particular images

A distributed video-on-demand (VoD) system is one where collection of video data is located at dispersed sites across a computer network. In a single site environment, a local video server retrieves video data from its local storage device. However, in the setting of a distributed VoD system, when a customer requests a movie from the local server, the server may need to interact with other servers located across the network. In this paper, we present three types of presentation plans that a local server must construct in order to satisfy the customer request. Informally speaking, a presentation plan is a temporally synchronized detailed sequence of steps that the local server must perform for presenting the requested movie to the customer. This involves obtaining commitments from other video servers, obtaining commitments from the network service provider, as well as making commitments of local resources, within the limitations of available bandwidth, available buffer, and customer data consumption rates. Furthermore, for evaluating the goodness of a presentation plan, we introduce two measures of optimality for presentation plans: minimizing wait time for a customer, and minimizing access bandwidth is used. We develop algorithms to compute optimal presentation plans for all three types, and carry out extensive experiments to compare their performance. We have also mathematically proved certain results for the presentation plans that had previously been verified experimentally in the literature.
In this paper, we made a windows-based interactive presentation system using a laser pointer mouse. The system provides that a speaker controls the presentation interactively by means of a laser pointer. During the presentation, a display PC generates on its local display a bitmap corresponding to the presentation. This bitmap is then transmitted to the projector and the bitmap is then projected onto the screen. The display of the presentation is controlled by the monitoring of the laser spots that are also projected onto the screen. Laser spot control is achieved through a control system. When the processing section matches the successive laser spot positions with a pre-established spatial pattern, the corresponding display command is issued. The display command may be transmitted to the display computer which responds by an action like mouse function.
