The foundation of any association or organization should include a mission, a vision, and strategic goals. Vision and mission are frequently discussed in academic and practitioner literature and accepted as key items in strategic decisions. But in these days, the words"change and crisis"are what companies are familiar with. They bringing about uncertainty led the companies to search for new strategies in order to specify their directions. In case of making proper direction for some organization, the role of management philosophy is most important. And also identifying, clarifying and communicating the management philosophy is now a major part of the planning process. This study examines the characteristics of management philosophy items which including mission and vision in Korean fisheries business with contents analysis. in order to achieve these purpose, this research analysing the mission, vision and CEO's greeting with the social network analysis(SNA) which is the most dominant technique in contents analysis. The SNA is evaluated that most popular, rigorous and firm methodology for analyzing, examining and revising some concepts or objects in the context of semantics. The findings of social network analysis show that some critical problems are existed. First, most of the fisheries company did not fully announce the mission and vision irrespective of one's size or scale. Second, there is some coverage insufficiency of stakeholders in mission and vision. And cutting edge topics like environmental problem, corporate social responsibility, consumer sovereignty are not included in management philosophy.

This research examined the difference in cognitive load and the virtual presence depending on auditory feedback and task difficulty in haptic-based dental simulation. In the field of dental education, practice-centered training using handpiece has been crucial because a practitioner's psychomotor experience has a significant impact on the mastery of treatment skills. For the novice, it is necessary to reduce errors in dental treatment to enhancing skill acquisition in the haptic practice. In the training process, the force-feedback is crucial to elaborate subtle movement to guide what to do and how it should be hard or soft. However, It is not easy to add force-feedback to generate kinetic experience training. As an alternative method, we examined that auditory feedback can help learners' skill training. In this study, we analyzed how the presence/absence of auditory feedback at the different levels of task difficulty impacts learners' psychological demand and virtual presence in the virtual reality simulation. For this study, 29 dental college students participated in a dental simulation. The participants were grouped into two conditions that are with and without auditory feedback. Additionally, two consecutive tooth preparation tasks with different levels of difficulty were used in the simulation. The auditory feedback condition gives alarms to a learner when he treats a non-targeted tooth with a virtual handpiece. The user's cognitive load and virtual presence were measured to examine the effects of auditory feedback. The results revealed that the main effect was found in cognitive loads. Also, a significant interaction effect was shown in the virtual presence. We discussed the effective design methods for the virtual reality-based dental simulation through the result of this study.
Allomatrix (Wright Medical Tech, Inc., Arlington, Tenn, USA), is a newly designed, injectable putty with a reliable demineralized bone matrix (DBM), derived from human bone. The compound contains 86% DBM and other bone growth factors such as bone morphogenic protein (BMP)-2, BMP-4, insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1, and transforming growth factor (TGF)-${\beta}1$. It has excellent osteoinduction abilities. In addition, DBM is known to have osteoconduction capacity as a scaffold due to its collagen matrix. This product contains a powder, which is a mix of DBM and surgical grade calcium sulfate as a carrier. A practitioner can blend the powder with calcium sulfate solution, making a putty-type material which has the advantages of ease of handling, better fixation, and no need for a membrane, because it can function as membrane itself. This study reports the clinical and radiographic results of various guided bone regeneration cases using Allomatrix, demonstrating its strong potential as a graft material.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess needs of training programs for APN practice courses and continuing education programs for APNs to provide baseline data to improve APN education and practice. Methods: A total of 98 questionnaires were distributed to professors in 38 nursing institutions and 64 (65.3%) were returned. Data collection was performed in November and December, 2007 through email. Results: Professors in charge of geriatric and home care nurse practitioner programs constituted 43.7% of the study participants. Forty-one percent answered that they were satisfied with the practice programs they currently have operated, while 36.5% responded to have difficulty in appointment of institutions for practice programs and 56.3% had problems in assignment of preceptorship. In case of developing training programs for APN practice courses, 58.7% answered that they are willing to participate, and 90.6% felt needs for development of continuing education programs for APNs. Regarding liability insurance for APN students, only 11.5% provided insurance policy. Conclusion: The study results indicated that standardized training programs are needed to assure quality of APN education, and continuing education programs are required to provide opportunities for APNs to improve competencies.
This study was conducted to identify a effect of the comprehensive self-regulation program for hypertensives as a nursing intervention on self-care performance and the physiologic parameters in rural areas. For this purpose, a nonequivalent control group and a pre and post-test quasi- experimental design was used. Fifty-four were evaluated subjects from two Community Health Practitioner Posts in the suburbs of Taejon City. The subjects of the control and experimental groups were matched for age and sex. The self-regulation program developed by author given to the experimental group. The program consisted of group education on hypertension and self-care, self-regulation including the blood pressure self-monitoring, recording of self-care activities, and encouraging and reinforcing self-efficacy. The whole program was carried out from September to November of 1999. The data were analyzed by repeated measure ANCOVA, t-test, and ANCOVA. The results were as follows ; There was significant improvement in the scores on knowledge (F=.68, P=.004), perceived self-efficacy (F=26.39, P=.000), self-care performance (F=26.11, P=.000) of the experimental group compared with those of the control group. There was no significant change on the score of locus of control, perceived benefits and perceived barrier, blood cholesterol level, body weight between two groups (P>.05). From these results, it can be concluded that the self-regulation program is an effective nursing strategy to promote self-care performance of hypertensives in rural area.

Objectives: To compare the efficacy of intravenous ondansetron (4 mg, 2 mL) and granisetron (2 mg, 2 mL) for preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in patients during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures under general anesthesia. Materials and Methods: A prospective, randomized, and double blind clinical study was carried out with 60 patients undergoing oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures under general anesthesia. Patients were divided into two groups of 30 individuals each. Approximately two minutes before induction of general anesthesia, each patient received either 4 mg (2 mL) ondansetron or 2 mg (2 mL) granisetron intravenously in a double blind manner. Balanced anesthetic technique was used for all patients. Patients were assessed for episodes of nausea, retching, vomiting, and the need for rescue antiemetic at intervals of 0-2, 3, 6, 12, and 24 hours after surgery. Incidence of complete response and adverse effects were assessed at 24 hours postoperatively. Data was tabulated and subjected to statistical analysis using the chi-square test, unpaired t-test, or the Mann-Whitney U-test as appropriate. A P-value less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups for incidence of PONV or the need for rescue antiemetic. Both study drugs were well tolerated with minimum adverse effects; the most common adverse effect was headache. The overall incidence of complete response in the granisetron group (86.7%) was significantly higher than the ondansetron group (60.0%). Conclusion: Granisetron at an intravenous dose of 2 mg was found to be safe, well tolerated, and more effective by increasing the incidence of complete response compared to 4 mg intravenous ondansetron when used for antiemetic prophylaxis in maxillofacial surgery patients receiving general anesthesia. Benefits of granisetron include high receptor specificity and high potency, which make it a valuable alternative to ondansetron.

Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of regenerative tissue matrix (Alloderm) as an oral layer for difficult anterior palatal fistula closure. Materials and Methods: The authors have tested the feasibility of a novel surgical technique of adding a regenerative tissue matrix (Alloderm) as an oral layer for closure of recalcitrant large anterior palatal fistulae and report the outcome of the first 12 patients in this pilot study. Patients with recurrent large fistula who otherwise would require either a local pedicled flap, free flap, or an obturator were treated with this technique and followed up for at least 6 months to monitor the progress of healing. Results: Of the 12 patients, 8 patients (66.7%) had complete closure of the fistula, and 2 patients (16.7%) showed reduction in size of the fistula to the extent that symptoms were eliminated, for an overall success rate of 83.3% (10/12 patients). Premature graft loss and recurrence of the fistula were noted in 2 patients (16.7%). Conclusion: Alloderm provided an adequate barrier allowing healing to occur unimpeded and allowed closure of the palatal fistula. In our experience, this new technique using regenerative tissue matrix as an adjunct to the oral layer in large anterior palatal fistula has an advantage compared to other more invasive complex procedures and has been shown to provide satisfactory results.

Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of direct interhospital transfers (IHTs) of patients with acute aortic syndrome (AAS) led by advanced practice nurses (APNs). Methods : From September 2014 to June 2017, the study retrospectively investigated 183 patients with AAS who were transferred to a high-volume tertiary hospital. Results : One hundred forty-eight (81%) patients were admitted through direct IHTs, and 35 (19%) patients were admitted through non-direct IHTs. The direct IHT group had a significantly shorter time from symptom onset to hospital arrival than the non-direct IHT group (11.4 vs. 32.1 h, p=.043). There were no significant differences in other clinical outcomes, such as peri-transfer status, mortality, hospital length of stay, and readmission, between the two groups. In the direct IHT group, 55% of transfers were led by APNs. There was no significant difference in outcomes between APN- and physician-led transfers. Conclusions : Implementation of direct IHTs markedly shortened the time from symptom onset to hospital arrival in patients with AAS. Finally, direct IHTs can potentially improve the outcomes of patients with AAS, a condition with time-dependent mortality and morbidity. In addition, APNs can effectively lead the direct IHT of patients with AAS.
The quantitative expansion of nursing schools has necessitated the qualitative improvement of nursing education, which requires the development of nursing education for clinical practice. To identify strategies for strengthening the educational capacity of clinical fields and nursing schools, this study first examined the current status of nursing education for clinical practice, and then proposed several prospective directions for education. Nursing clinical practice-related studies from several Korean and international electronic databases were reviewed. Insufficient training hospitals and lack of qualified clinical training instructors were the main problems found within nursing educational resources for clinical practice, while the simple practice contents based on observation and inadequate evaluations were the main problems found in nursing educational management for clinical practice. This study suggests better standards and educational accountability for training hospitals and programs to nurture human resources for clinical practice, as well as a variety of training methods to integrate practical training courses and the expansion of formation evaluation. Based on these results, it is necessary to establish governance for nursing education for clinical practice and clarify the role and standards of each practitioner, strengthen the educational role of the hospital, and improve the system. In addition, introducing various types of education methods and strengthening evaluation standards are needed in order to enhance nursing education for clinical practice.

By above process, practitioner identifies each own's pros & cons as a mathematic study advisor and strengthens the skill while understanding the subject: student. by 'self-studying' method, advisor enhances its own expertise as a teacher with the achieving student and learns practical knowledge for a math study advisor.
