고이득 특성을 갖는 성형 빔 안테나에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Shaped-Beam Antenna with High Gain Characteristic)

  • 본 논문은 단위 방사 소자의 이득을 증가시키기 위한 성형 빔 안테나에 관한 것이다. 제안하는 안테나 구조는 크게 여기 소자와 다층 원형 도체 배열 구조로 구성된다. 광대역에 걸쳐 전자파 전력이 다층 원형 도체 배열로 방사하기 위한 여기 소자로 스택 마이크로스트립 패치 소자가 사용되었으며, 고이득 빔 성형을 위한 지향 소자의 역할을 담당하는 다층 원형 도체 배열 소자들은 여기 소자 위에 주기적으로 유한하게 적층되었다. 제안하는 안테나가 고이득 특성을 얻기 위해서는 여기 소자와 다층 원형 도체 배열 소자들 간의 효율적인 전력 결합이 이루어져야 하며, 이를 위해 주어진 설계 규격에 따라 여기 소자 및 다층 원형 도체 배열 소자들의 설계 변수들은 함께 최적화되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 고이득 성형 빔 안테나는 $9.6{\sim}10.4\;GHz$ 주파수 대역 및 선형 편파 조건하에서 최적화 설계되었으며, 또한 안테나의 다층 원형 도체 배열 소자들을 구현하는 2가지 방법 즉, 얇은 유전체 필름을 이용하는 방법과 유전체 폼을 이용하는 방법들도 제안되었다. 특히, 유전체 필름을 이용하는 안테나에 대해서는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 과정을 통해, 원형 도체 배열 소자들의 적층 수에 따른 안테나의 전기적인 성능 변화들을 보여주었다. 유전체 필름(Type 1)과 유전체 폼(Type 2)을 이용한 2종류의 안테나 시제품들을 제작하였으며, 얇은 유전체 필름을 이용한 안테나 시제품에 대해선 시뮬레이션 된 전기적 성능 결과와 비교를 위해 원형 도체 배열 적층 수에 따른 안테나의 전기적인 성능 변화들을 실험하였다. 측정된 이득 성능은 시뮬레이션 이득 성능과 거의 유사한 결과를 보여주었으며, 원형 도체 적층 수에 따라 안테나 이득 변화는 주기성을 보였다. 10 GHz 중심 주파수에서 측정된 Type 1 안테나의 전기적 성능은 원형 도체 배열을 10개 적층(disk10)하였을 때, 15.65 dBi의 최대 안테나 이득과 11.4 dB 이상의 입력 반사 손실 성능을 보여 주었으며, 다층 원형 도체 배열 구조에 의해 약 5 dB의 이득 향상 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 또한, 원형 도체를 12개 적층하였을 때, 외곽 유전체 링 효과에 의해 Type 1 안테나는 Type 2 안테나보다 상대적으로 약 1.35 dB 만큼 이득이 더 높았으며, 각 안테나의 3 dB 빔 폭은 각각 약 $28^{\circ}$$36^{\circ}$로 측정되었다.

  • [ $^{15}O$ ]을 이용한 양전자 방출 단층촬영 기법(Positron emission tomography)은 핵의학 영상 기법 중에서 두뇌의 인지 기능과 연관된 두뇌 활성화를 정상인과 환자들로부터 연구하는데 큰 장점이 있다. $^{15}O-PET$, 특히 $H_2^{15}O$ PET 기법은 두뇌 국소 혈류 변화(rCBF; regional brain flow)를 상대적으로 비침습적이면서 동시에 정량적 측정할 수 있기 때문에 두뇌 기능을 연구하는데 오늘날 존재하는 핵의학 영상기법 중에서 가장 광범위하게 쓰이고 있다. 특히 $^{15}O$은 짧은 반감기로 인하여, 동일한 피험자를 서로 다른 과제 조건에서 반복적으로 측정하는 것이 가능하다. 이 PET기법은 fMRI와 같은 다른 기능 영상 기법에 비하여 기술적 제한이 있는데, 예를 들면 시간과 공간 해상도가 좋지 않다든지, 개인 데이터를 분석하기에 통계적 효율성이 부족하다거나 하는 문제이다. 그러나 최근에 3D 획득방법 같은 기술적인 발전으로 적은 양의 방사능 dose로 좋은 영상을 획득하는 것이 가능하게 되었고, 이는 다시 개개인으로부터 더 많은 수의 PET 스캔을 획득하는 것을 가능하게 하며, 결과적으로 개인 데이터의 분석이 가능한 통계적 효율성을 제공하게 되었다. 그 외에 $^{15}O$ PET 의 스캐너 환경이 소음에서부터 자유롭다던가, 개개 스캔이 각 과제 조건에서 불연속적이지 획득되기 때문에 상태 특정적 두뇌 변화를 연구하기에 유리하다는 PET연구 만의 장점이 있다. 본 종설에서는 정상인들이나 임상적 환자 집단을 사용한 예시적 연구들을 들어 $^{15}O$ PET의 장점과 한계를 논하고, 두뇌 활성화 연구에 효율적인 PET 연구 절차를 고안하기 위해 고려해야 할 사항들에 대하여 논하였다.TEX>$29.9{\pm}1.8%$, DMF: $7.6{\pm}0.5%$이었다. MEK에서 얻은 $[^{11}C]1$의 비방사능은 98 ($GBq/{\mu}mol$)이다. 각 물질의 질량 분석은 1: m/z 257.3 (M+1), 2: 257.3 (M+1), 3: 271.3 (M+1)이었다. 각 생성물질의 표지효율은 MEK에서 $86.0{\pm}5.5%:5.0{\pm}3.4%:1.5{\pm}1.3%$ $([^{11}C]1:[^{11}C]2:[^{11}C]3)$, CHO에서 $59.7{\pm}2.4%:4.7{\pm}3.2%:1.3{\pm}0.5%$, DEK에서 $29.9{\pm}1.8%:2.0{\pm}0.7%:0.3{\pm}0.1%$, DMF에서 $7.6{\pm}0.5%:0.0%:0.0%$이다. 결론: $[^{11}C]1$은 4가지 반응용매 중 MEK 반응용매에서 가장 높은 표지효율을 나타냈다. 부산물인 $[^{11}C]3$은 고성능 액체 크로마토그래피의 자외선, 방사능 검출기와 질량 분석법을 통해 물질을 추정할 수 있었다.의 개선 효과가 있는 것으로 판단되며 지질과산화에 대해서 강한 억제 활성을 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 복분자는 생활 습관병의 예방과 개선에 유효한 것으로 사료되었으며, 지질대사와 과산화지표의 검증을 통해 기능성 식품소재로 활용될 수 있음을 보여주었다.로서 역시 CTV 치료계획에서 적게 조사되었다(p=0.005). 기존의 ICRU 치료계획은 잔류종양의 크기가 작은 경우 불필요하게 정상조직에 많은 선량이 투여되기 때문에 CT를 이용한 CTV 치료계획을 적용하여 정상조직에 대한 피폭을 현저히 낮추고 잔류종양에 목표한 선량을 조사할 수 있다.

물류시스템 구성요인에 관한 실태분석과 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Scheme and An Investigation into the Actual Condition about Components of Physical Distribution System)

  • 전자부품생산 중·소 제조업체의 물적유통시스템의 효율성과 합리성을 향상시키기 위한 개선방안과 성력화, 정보화 내지 국제화 등의 기업환경변화에 대응해 물적유통을 전략적 측면의 「제3의 이윤원」으로 활용하도록 하는데 필요한 자료를 제공하기 위해서 2009년 6월부터 2009년 8월까지 약 3개월간의 기간을 거쳐 문헌조사방법과 설문지 조사방법을 병행하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구조사 대상기업으로는 전자부품생산 제조업체 가운데 중·소기업을 중심으로 서울지역에서 27개사, 광주지역에서 10개사, 부산지역에서 12개사, 기타지역에서 10개사, 총 59개사를 선정하여 실태분석을 한 결과 물적유통시스템 구성요인의 효율성과 합리성을 향상시키기 위한 방안으로는 제품부문에서 고객과의 관계지향성을, 시장부문에서는 유통경로구조의 변경과 컨소시엄을 통한 자체 브랜드 개발 및 국내·외 시장에서의 판매계획을, 보관·창고부문의 경우에는 대기업과 연계할 수 있는 방안과 제3자 물류운영체계로의 전환 그리고 정부의 지원을, 수송부문에서는 철도수송의 활용과 「일괄수송협동체계」 내지 전국적인 「네트워크」망 구축 및 단위화물의 적정화를, 포장부문에서는 「유닛 로드 시스템」을 통한 포장규격화와 표준화 및 포장에 대한 전문업체의 교육프로그램 내지 포장기기에 대한 기술혁신이 선행되어야 하며, 재고부문의 경우에는 최고경영자 내지 담당자의 재고에 대한 새로운 접근인식을, 정보 및 컴퓨터 부문에서는 전산화의 정도가 유통 부분간에 상당한 차이가 있지만 궁극적으로 유통분야를 하나로 통합할 수 있는 「통합물류정보서비스(OSS:One-Stop-Service)」망의 구축을, 물류비구성부문에서는 「물류비 산정통일기준」의 제정 및 보급과 확립을, 마지막으로 물적유통시스템부문에서는 전문인력과 투자재원의 확보 및 아웃소싱의 활용을 들 수 있겠다. 결국 물적유통시스템의 합리적인 관리방안은 그 구성요인들의 체계화에 달려있다고 할 수 있으며 그 범위가 워낙 광대함으로 개별 경제적 입장에서 다루기보다는 사회경제적 관점하에서 전체적인 물적유통시스템을 체계화하는 방안으로 접근해야 할 것이다. 그리고 연구의 분석 틀을 가지고 전자부품 생산업체의 물적유통시스템을 개개의 요인으로 나누어 실태분석을 한 결과, 시사점으로는 ① 물적유통시스템의 구성요인이 통합물적유통 시스템으로 흐르지 않는 한 그 구성요인의 운영이 효율적으로 이루어지지 않을 것이다. ② 물적유통분야가 단순한 원가비용절감 분야가 아니라 기업의 중요한 전략적 의사결정분야로 그 중요성이 점차 증대될 것이다. ③ 물적유통 분야를 기업의 주요 경쟁전략 도구로 이용할 수 있다는 점을 들 수 있다. 그리고 연구의 한계점으로는 ① 실태조사를 통한 이론적 고찰에 그쳐 실증적 분석까지 이르지 못했다는 점, ② 임의표본추출에 의한 표본의 설정으로 그 결과에 대한 대표성에 상당한 문제가 있고 또한 결과에 대한 일반화에 제약이 있다는 점을 들 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 향후 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위한 보다 체계적인 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

사례 기반 지능형 수출통제 시스템 : 설계와 평가 (Export Control System based on Case Based Reasoning: Design and Evaluation)

  • 최근 전 세계적인 원전 설비의 수요 증가로 원자력 전략물자 취급의 중요성이 높아지는 가운데, 국외 수출을 위한 원전 관련 물품 및 기술의 신청 또한 급증하는 추세이다. 전략물자 사전판정 업무는 통상 원자력 물자 관리에 해박한 전문가의 경험 및 지식에 근거하여 수행되어 왔지만, 급증하는 수요에 상응하는 전문 인력의 공급이 부족한 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위하여, 본 연구진은 전략물자 수출 통제를 위한 사례 기반 지능형 수출 통제 시스템을 설계 및 개발하였다. 이 시스템은 현장 전문가의 전담 업무이던 신규 사례에 대한 전략물자 사전판정 과정 업무의 주요 맥락을 자동화 하여 전문가 및 관계 기관이 감당해야 할 업무 부담을 줄이며, 빠르고 정확한 판정을 돕는 의사결정 지원 시스템의 역할을 맡는다. 개발된 시스템은 사례 기반 추론 (Case Based Reasoning) 방식에 기반을 두어 설계되었는데, 이는 과거 사례의 특성을 활용하여 신규 사례의 해법을 유추하는 추론 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 자연어로 작성된 전자문서 처리에 널리 사용되는 텍스트 마이닝 분석 기법을 원자력 분야에 특화된 형태로 응용하여 전략물자 수출통제 시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템 설계의 근거로 선행 연구에서 제안된 반자동식 핵심어 추출 방안의 성능을 보다 엄밀히 검증하였고, 추출된 핵심어로 신규 사례와 유사한 과거 사례를 추출하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 방안은 텍스트 마이닝 분야의 TF-IDF 방법 및 코사인 유사도 점수를 활용한 결과(${\alpha}$)와 원자력 분야에서 통용되는 개념적 지식을 계통으로 분류하여 도출한 결과(${\beta}$)를 조합하여 최종 결과 (${\gamma}$) 를 생성하게 된다. 세부 요소 기술의 성능 검증은 임상 데이터를 활용한 실험 및 실무 전문가의 의견수렴을 통해 이루어졌다. 개발된 시스템은 사전판정 전문 인력을 다수 양성하는 데 드는 비용을 절감하는 데 일조할 것이며, 지식서비스 산업의 의미 있는 응용 사례로서 관련 산업의 성장에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

트랙터부착형 타워집재기 개발(I) - 설계 및 제작- (Development of a Mobile Tower-yarder with Tractor (I) - Design and Manufacture -)

  • 본 연구는 급경사 지형과 간벌사업, 소규모 목재생산 등에 효율적인 가선계 집재기계인 트랙터 부착형 타워집재기를 개발하고자 수행하였다. 타워집재기의 유압동력원은 트랙터의 PTO를 이용한 3개의 유압펌프를 장착하여 4개의 드럼 구동용 모터와 인터록크용 클러치 실린더, 타워신장용 실린더, 아웃트리거 실린더를 작동시킬 수 있도록 설계 제작하였으며, 런닝스카이라인 삭장방식과 인터록크 기능을 채택하고 더블캡스턴드럼과 와이어로프 저장드럼, 인터록크 클러치를 장착한 타워집재기를 개발하였다. 또한 더블캡스턴 드럼의 윈치 구동력 및 견인력과 가선의 이송속도를 산출하여 윈치 구동력은 $191kg{\cdot}m$, 윈치 견인력은 1,910kgf, 더블캡스턴 드럼의 회전수는 220.5rpm, 가선의 이송속도는 138.5m/min의 타워집재기를 개발하였다. 메인라인 250m와 홀백라인 450m을 저장하기 위해서는 메인라인 및 홀백라인 저장드럼의 플랜지 직경은 각각 약 360mm와 약 460mm가 최적이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 런닝스카이라인 삭장방식에 맞고 쵸킹작업이 용이하고 집재목의 처짐을 방지하기 위한 잠금장치를 장착한 반송기를 개발하였으며, 타워집재기의 인터록크 기능을 고려하고 조작의 수월성과 작업의 효율성을 위한 유선 리모트 콘트롤러를 개발하였다. 타워집재기의 견인 및 이동을 위해 트랙터의 후방 3점 히치 연결장치와 고무바퀴를 장착하였으며, 타워집재기의 안전성과 작업의 효율성을 높이기 위해 아우트리거와 버팀줄을 장착한 타워집재기를 개발하였다.

대학에서 창출하는 지적/인적자원에 대한 기업연계 플랫폼: 인문사회계열을 중심으로 (The knowledge and human resources distribution system for university-industry cooperation)

  • 대학은 교육을 통한 인재육성과 더불어, 사회적 가치를 창출할 수 있는 새로운 지식 및 아이디어를 창출하는 것을 주요한 목적으로 한다. 이러한 지적 자원은 비단 교수들이 생산하는 논문에 국한되지 않으며, 학생들로부터 창출되는 창의적인 아이디어, 독창적 문제인식 및 솔루션을 포괄하고 있다. 대학에서 창출되는 주요한 지적자원은 학술적인 지식인 '논문', 교육적 용도의 '강의자료', 텀프로젝트, 공모전 등을 통해 창출되는 창의적 형태의 '아이디어', 그리고 법적인 지적재산권이 확보된 '특허'등이 있다. 그러나, 이러한 대학의 지적 자원은 대부분 강의실 이외의 공간으로 유통되지 못하고 있으며, 대학 내에서조차 체계적으로 관리되지 못한다. 본 연구는 인문사회계열의 대학에서 창출되는 다양한 형태의 지적 자원을 기업에 유통시키고, 이를 통하여 대학의 인적자원이 기업에 연계될 수 있도록 하는 새로운 형태의 시스템 플랫폼을 제안한다. 즉, 대학의 지적자원을 실제로 이를 활용할 기업에게 시스템적으로 유통시킬 수 있는 방안을 연구하였으며, 이와 더불어 대학에서 배출되는 우수한 인재들의 정보를 기업에 함께 전달하여, 산학연계를 공고히 할 수 있는 시스템의 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 시스템의 주요 사용자인 학생 및 교수, 그리고 기업의 실무담당자 총 100명에 대한 사용자 요구도를 조사하고, 이를 토대로 대학의 지적/인적자원에 대한 유통플랫폼 및 이에 대한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스 (Graphic User Interface) 프로토타입을 구성하였다. 마지막으로, 제안된 플랫폼을 효과적으로 운영할 수 있는 방안에 대한 정책적 시사점을 제안하였다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The correlation between glucose concentration and parameters was the best at 610nm. 30535 T00401030535 ^x Radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumors were grown on the flanks of C3H mice. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Results show the superiority of the proposed method to the conventional method using power spectrum and also its usefulness for the tissue characterization. 30541 T00401030541 ^x This paper describes the implementation of a computerized radial pulse diagnosis by aids of a clinical expert. On this base, we composed of the radial pulse diagnosis system in korean traditional medicine. The system composed of a radial pulse wave detection system and a radial pulse diagnosis system. With a detection system, we detected Inyoung and Cheongu radial pulse wave and processed it. Then, we have got the characteristic parameters of radial pulse wave and also quantified that according to the method of Inyoung-Cheongu Comparison Radial Pulse Diagnosis.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
