This study analyzed how North Korean defectors recognized and overcame conflict in the South Korean job culture during the course of entering and settling into South Korea, and the association between their old career and adaptation within their new careers. The study selected 13 employed participants who entered South Korea more than five years ago and experienced working. Interviews were conducted over the course of five years. The topics were analyzed after performing interviews 60 to 120 minutes long by recording and transcribing the recordings and using semi-structured questionnaires for the 13 people. The results reflected the job environment in North Korea, their career background, factors for a successful new life, their constant efforts for employment, the difficult adaption to South Korean life, pursuing job stability, accepting South Korean culture, and career compromises. The results of this study are as follows. First, they undergo difficulty in the course of selecting jobs due to the converted environment from passivity to autonomy. Second, they cannot use their previous job history and they complained about prejudice and the lack of job information. Third, major problems included their lack of adaptability, stress, and loss of economic power. The study suggests that these North Korean defectors undergo an integrated course of cultural learning. Fourth, they were hardly able to adapt. Fifth, they tried to overcome conflicts of job culture according to their personal characteristics.
The purpose of this study is searching for technical merits and demerits of each weight lifting player through qualitative motion analysis system. Moreover, It is also analysis the repeating the establishment of exercise purpose and studying for the effect of the field adaptation. The subject of this study was five male weight lifting players who have been engaged in Korean Delegation Team. The institution of exercise target was made through two times qualitative analysis and the result of studying for the effect of the field adaptation was produced before offering feedback. Moreover, two time analysis added after offering feedback. All analysis was based on 2-D visual analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Maximal barbell moving speed in starting phase was decreased after offering feedback. This result implies advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 2. From starting posture to 앉아받기, forward and backward moving distance of hip joint was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 3. In terms of pull phase, forward and backward moving distance of hip and shoulder joint was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 4. In terms of pull phase, the difference of horizontal value of coordinates was decreased after offering feedback in all subjects. This result represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. 5. In terms of pull phase, the motion range of hip joint was decreased after offering feedback in three of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them were not variable or narrow decreasing. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 6. From apex point of barbell to 앉아받기, the difference of barbell height was decreased after offering feedback in three of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them weren't variable or narrow increasing. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 7. In terms of last-pull phase, the angular velocity of knee joint was increased after offering feedback in four of five subjects and this represents advancement of technical skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them, only one subject, decreased. This result represents that feedback system could not brought tremendous effects. 8. In terms of last-pull, the conversional tendency of maximal extension to flextion came out all but simultaneously without offering feedback in four of five subjects. This is well-performed technique. Only one subject, however, could not use power effectively because the fact that his maximal extension came out in serial, from ankle to knee and waist means dispersion of power. In addition to, after offering feedback, only one subject made increasing the maximal extension of knee in last-pull and this result represents advancement of skills after offering feedback. However, the rest of them could not make meaningful development after offering feedback. 9. It might be assumed that searching for technical merits and demerits of each weight lifting player through qualitative motion analysis system could improve player's skill.
To reduce the aerodynamic drag of high speed trains, aerodynamic drag of KTX-Sancheon was analyzed in detail according to individual components. Aerodynamic drag values of the power cars (front car, rear car) and bogies are about 42.9% and 10.1% of the total aerodynamic drag, respectively. For the aerodynamic drag reduction of a power-car, a nose shape optimization was conducted using the Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno optimum method. Shape change of a power car and bogie fairing adaptation are used to reduce the aerodynamic drag of a car body. The aerodynamic drag of the optimized train-set dropped by 15.0% compared to the aerodynamic drag of the KTX-Sancheon; a running resistance reduction of 12% is expected at the speed of 350km/h.
In Internet of Things (IoT) environments, billions of interconnected devices and multimedia sensors generate a huge amount of multimedia traffic. Since the environment are in general deployed as a server-centric architecture wireless sensor networks could be bottlenecks between IoT gateways and IoT devices. The bottleneck causes high power consumption of the device and triggers very heavy network overload by transmission of sensing data. The deterioration could decrease the quality of multimedia streaming service due to delay, loss, and waste of device power. Thus, in this paper, we propose a context-based adaptive multimedia streaming scheme to support enhanced QoS and low power consumption in IoT environments. The goal of the scheme is to increase quality score per voltage of the streaming service, given an adaptation algorithm with context that are classified network and hardware such as throughput, RTT, and CPU usage. From the both context, the quality score per voltage is used in the comparison of a only network context-based adaptive multimedia streaming scheme, a fixed multimedia streaming and our scheme. As a result, we achieves a high improvement that means the quality score per voltage is increased up to about 4, especially in case of resolution change.

The digital mobile communication will be developed till getting multimedia service in anyone, any where, any time. Theses requiring items are going to be come true via IMT-2000 system. Transmitting signal bandwidth of IMT-2000 system is 3 times as large as IS-95 system. That is mean peak to average of signal is higher than IS-95A system. So we have to design it carefully not to effect in adjacent channel. HPA(High Power Amplifier) located in the end point of system is operated in 1-㏈ compression point(Pl㏈), then it generates 3rd and 5th inter modulation signals. Theses signals affect at adjacent channel and RF signal is distorted by compressed signal which is operated near by Pl㏈ point. Then the most important design factor is how we make HPA having high linearity. Feedback, Pre-distorter and Feed-forward methods are presented to solve theses problems. Feed-forward of these methods is having excellent improving capacity, but composed with complex structure. Generally, Linearity and Efficiency in power amplifier operate in the contrary, then it is difficult for us to find optimal operating point. In this paper we applied algorithm which searches optimal point of linear characteristics, which is key in Power Amplifier, using minimum current point of error amplifier in 1st loop. And we made 2nd loop compose with new structure. We confirmed fabricated LPA is operated by having high linearity and minimum current condition with ACPR of -26 ㏈m max. @ 30㎑ BW in 3.515㎒ and ACLR of 48 ㏈c max@${\pm}$㎒ from 1W to 40W.

The power line communication channel has characteristic variation problems which are caused by load. The spread spectrum technique has been used to overcome these problems. One of that is the direct sequence spread spectrum(DS/SS) system which is not necessary to additional hardwares. The BER of DS/SS system is decreased by longer length of PN code, but data transfer rate is decreases, so data transfer rate is hard to satisfies their own specifications especially in narrowband PLC systems. Spread Spectrum system with Dual-processing Gain tries to reflect cyclic characteristics of power line noise. But that system assumes that shapes of power line channel are symmetrical with respect to the 1/4 point of main frequency(60Hz in Korea), therefore cannot achieves various shapes of real power line noise. Thus in this paper, noise adaptive DS/SS system which PN code is changed by noise levels for various channel noises is proposed and simulated. The different kinds of noises are modeled and measured for simulation, the proposed system is verified that has lower data transfer rate and lower error rate than conventional system by simulation results.

A decrease in the birthrate and aging are progressing in Japan and several countries. In that society, it is important that physically weak persons such as elderly persons are able to take care of themselves. We have been developing exoskeletal robots for human (especially for physically weak persons) motion support. In this study, the controller controls the angular position and impedance of the exoskeltal robot system using multiple fuzzy-neuro controllers based on biological signals that reflect the human subject's intention. Skin surface electromyogram (EMG) signals and the generated wrist force by the human subject during the elbow motion have been used as input information of the controller. Since the activation level of working muscles tends to vary in accordance with the flexion angle of elbow, multiple fuzzy-neuro controllers are applied in the proposed method. The multiple fuzzy-neuro controllers are moderately switched in accordance with the elbow flexion angle. Because of the adaptation ability of the fuzzy-neuro controllers, the exoskeletal robot is flexible enough to deal with biological signal such as EMG. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to validate the Korean version of the Ethical Leadership at Work questionnaire (K-ELW) that measures RNs' perceived ethical leadership of their nurse managers. Methods: The strong validation process suggested by Benson (1998), including translation and cultural adaptation stage, structural stage, and external stage, was used. Participants were 241 RNs who reported their perceived ethical leadership using both the pre-version of K-ELW and a previously known Ethical Leadership Scale, and interactional justice of their managers, as well as their own demographics, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Data analyses included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, reliability coefficients, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. SPSS 19.0 and Amos 18.0 versions were used. Results: A modified K-ELW was developed from construct validity evidence and included 31 items in 7 domains: People orientation, task responsibility fairness, relationship fairness, power sharing, concern for sustainability, ethical guidance, and integrity. Convergent validity, discriminant validity, and concurrent validity were supported according to the correlation coefficients of the 7 domains with other measures. Conclusion: The results of this study provide preliminary evidence that the modified K-ELW can be adopted in Korean nursing organizations, and reliable and valid ethical leadership scores can be expected.
The Organic agricultural techinques were investigated through the observations made for 3 years of the actual conditions of a farmer who has been practicing organic agriculture over 21 years. The farmer was a member of the Ichijima-cho Organic Agriculture Association. The Farmer had not performed much of the organic agricultural techinques at the beginning of his farming history. However, he has gradually developed techniques upon the experiences with trial and error. The notable characteristic of his basic organic agriculture was the utilization of a suitable organic fertilizer to make the soil fertile. Crop damages by diseases and insect pests were prevented through a fertile soil, raising of good seedlings, adoption of tolerant varieties and planting at a wide spacing and consequently considering not to use chemical pesticides. Introduction of power weeder for weed control and paddy-upland crop rotation reduced the cost of production for farming. The crop pattern and method of land us such as mix cropping, crop rotation and conversion of paddy field-upland fieldd were appeared to be very important in organic agriculture. The organic agricultural techniques get systematized upon the adaptation the regional ecology and the development of skills of the farmer. The most important point to achieve the success in organic agriculture system is not only by the development of the technical matters but also by the building of healthy relation and understandings between producers and consumers.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the specific types and characteristics of gender role identity in view of male nursing students. Method: Q-methodology, a technique for extracting subjective opinions, was used. Forty participants completed the Q-sort activity, rating each statement relative to the others. The Q sample has two categories, representing masculinity and femininity, and each category has 20 statements, resulting in 40 adjectives. The collected data were analyzed by QUANL PC program. Results: Three types of gender role identity of male nursing students were identified: 'Taciturn warmth type', 'assertive power type', 'empathic warmth type'. Despite the differences among the types in this research, male nursing students are likely to have the understanding and keep faith. Conclusion: Male nursing students were exposed to many problems because of the gendered culture of nursing education. To understand the male nursing students' gender role identity will help to promote adaptation in nursing field.
