  • The topographical rolling distribution characteristics of 10 geological areas in Gyeongsangbuk-do are analyzed using GIS. PEs, PEgrgn, Pp2, Kav·Kiv, and Khgr regions occupy the more than 60% that are a steep slope-a high elevation and a steep slope-a middle elevation region, and form high moutains in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Meanwhile, Ke1-9 and Te1-2 regions take possession of the more than 70% that are a low elevation region. Ke1-9 region form landward flatlands and hills around Nakdong river and tributaries of Nakdong river in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Then, Te1-2 region form coastal lowlands adjacent the East sea in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Also, Jgr region take possession of the more than 70% that are a middle elevation region, and form low moutains or flatlands in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Finally, Ols1 region take possession of the more than 50% that are a steep slope region, and form landward moutains in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

  • Paramolgus orientalis n. sp. is described as an associate of the antipatharian coral Antipathes japonicus from Jeju Island, Korea. The new species is distinguished from its three relatives P. constrictus, P. delicatulus, and P. insectus, all known from antipatharians in tropical waters, by its long caudal ramus which is more than four times as long as wide, by the possession of 4 setae on maxillule, and by other morphological differences in the antenna and maxilla.

  • The LED illuminator has merits that it has low power consumption, long life and emits low Co2 gas. As it has many merits in comparison with existing illuminator it is a realistic alternative. but its possession in illuminator market shows slow increasement unexpectedly. Because its price is very high only low power consumption can not keep pace with economical efficiency. In this paper I analyzed economical efficiency about LED illuminator when it is applied at subway station.

  • The reliability guarantee insurance policy for parts and materials was introduced to the market in 2003. This policy indemnifies manufactures of products for the repair/failure costs, recall expenses of products and business interruption losses found to be defective by users or demand companies during the terms of guarantee and after the user acquired physical possession of the product. In this paper, owing to the nature of the policy, we propose a new rate-making system considering the type of product and industry, quality control circumstances, record of guarantee performance, and exposure.

It also investigates the meaning of shamanism and shamans, the relationship of Korean shamanism to shamanism, and the genealogy of Korean shamanism. For collecting and analyzing data of the research, literature reviews, field studies, and the investigation of historical relics are mostly used. The following are the major findings of the research: Through the comparison of shamans' costumes of Korea with those of Siberia and Central Asia, this research finds out some similarities and differences in the costumes. Both Korean shamans and Siberian and Central Asian shamans wore shaman's costumes and used utensils like bells or mirrors when they perform a religious service. On their costumes, they both used an element which stands for birds. However, they were different in terms of the materials or styles of the costumes, of the function of the costumes, and of the decorating with ornaments. The differences in the materials or styles of the costumes, different functions of the costumes, and using ornaments or not can be viewed as a general phenomenon, which is resulted from different environments. The soul's departing the body or the possession or a mixed method can be considered as mere variations due to regional or cultural differences. In conclusion, based on the comparison of the costumes of shamans of Korea with those of Siberia and Central Asia, the shamans of Korea and Siberia and Central Asia share the same origin. And the genealogy of Korean shamans can be said to be originated from the northern shamanism.

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to analyze the current status of the possession of measurement and analytical instruments among work environment monitoring organizations that have been designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MoEL) in Korea. Methods: Data for measurement and analytical instruments were gathered by inspectors who had been assigned by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) and MoEL during the evaluation program for designated work environment monitoring service providers in 2012. Data for 11 monitoring instruments and nine analytical instruments were collected from 108 organizations. Basic data such as the type of service provides and the size of employment were also recorded by the inspector. Results: The total number of personal air samplers including high and low flow rates operated in Korea was 5,418, with average of 50.2. Average operation number of noise dosimeters was 35.0, while 3,780 dosimeters were used in 108 work environment monitoring organizations. There were 10,488 monitoring instruments in total. All service providers possessed at least one AAS and GC in their analytical laboratory. Total number of HPLC/MS was five, followed by ICP/MS of seven, with an average of 0.07. Conclusions: Based on the data, domestic work environment monitoring service providers possessed relatively reasonable measurement and analytical instruments. Nearly all instruments had been imported from advanced countries such as USA, UK and Japan. Periodic gathering of data on these instruments may help maintain good workplace monitoring results and the health of workers at the sites.

  • Liberal education in colleges and universities embrace the concept of general education to enhance individual's morality, intelligence and identity. In consideration of physical education aim to develop cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains as a whole person education, liberal education and general physical education share the same values and objectives. Suppose physical education and liberal education shared same initial values, general physical education should take possession of the core means to achieve liberal education goals. To this end, it is necessary to inspect the actual statement of general physical education curriculum carefully, to find potential problems and prevent them in advance, and also explore future directions. In the current investigation, researchers found potential problems through identifying operation status of general physical education in 10 national universities. In addition, researcher provided future directions of general physical education in college and university including 'take possession of core means for liberal education', 'making diverse general physical education curriculum', 'move away from physical skill-centered education', 'general physical education as a whole body education' and 'increase opportunity of general physical education'.
