The Effects of Family Restaurant's Social Servicescape on Positive Emotion and Voluntary Behavior (패밀리 레스토랑의 사회적 서비스 스케이프가 긍정적 감정과 자발적 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose - The study aims to provide the relationships between the social servicescape and customer's emotion and voluntary behaviors were investigated in this study. The social servicescape was largely divided into service employee's image and other customers (in customer's similarity, physical appearance and suitable behavior). Firstly, the relationship between service employee's image and customer's positive emotion was investigated as a specific purpose of study. Secondly, this study attempted to understand the relationship between other customers (in customer's similarity, physical appearance and suitable behavior) and customer's positive emotion. Lastly, the relationship between customer's positive emotion and customer's voluntary behavior dimension (intention to cooperate, intention to participate in and loyalty) was examined. Research design, data, & methodology - In order to prove the hypotheses in this study, the customers who have experienced family restaurants during the last two months were targeted for a survey. A total number of 300 survey papers were distributed and as a result, 248 papers could be used for analysis, except the papers with insincere answers. After the analysis of the reliability and validity of each major variable, the hypothesis was verified through the structure method by using Amos 20.0. Results - First, the results of hypothesis testing on the relationship between social servicescape and customer's positive emotion showed service employee image gives a positively meaningful impact on customer's positive emotion. Secondly, the results on the relationship between other customers and customer's positive emotion indicated that the customer's similarity and physical appearance has a positively significant impact on customer's emotion while customer's suitable behavior has not a significantly positive impact on customer's positive emotion Lastly, customer's positive emotion was shown to have a significantly positive influence on customer's voluntary behavior dimension, that is, intention to cooperate, intention to participate in and loyalty. Conclusions - This study aims to focus on and emphasize the social servicescape and its importance, which is different from the previous studies that have been focused largely on physical servicescape. Such results in this study indicated the social servicescape (service employee's image and other customers) as an important factor that affects customer's positive emotion and voluntary behavior.

Attitudes of Nursing Educators Toward Percussional Nursing (간호학 교수들의 간호전문직에 대한 태도 조사연구)

  • This study of nurse educator's attitudes which found aspects of professional nursing was carried out from September 10 to 30, 1977. Subjects were 205 respondents from a total population of 314 nurse educators from the level of instructors to professors in all the diploma (post high school 3 year), professional junior college (3 year level) and university (4 year) nursing schools in Korea. Specific objectives were to determine their attitudes about the 1. social position of nursing as a profession, 2. nurses attitudes towards their word, 3. factors influencing the development of nursing, 4. the future of nursing, 5. nursing educational problems, 6. their own educational position's intrinsic job satisfaction and 7. their salary and benefits. The instrument used was a questionnaire developed from consultations with nursing educators and sociologists, and based on earlier. worts by Burke (1976), Mason (1974) and Hong 1969. Data were analysis by computer using one-way analysis. Statistically significant findings included the following; 1. Responses were positive toward all seven aspects of professional nursing. 2. Compared to diploma nursing school staff whose responses were positive, professional and university school faculty response toward the social position of nursing were neutral. 3. Faculty with clinical experience of 10 to 19 years were most positive in their responses about nurses' attitudes towards their work. In all three types of schools, in comparison to professors, associate professors' responses were more positive about nurses' attitudes toward their work. Faculty with longer clinical experience expressed high agreement with statements about factors which influence the development of nursing. Without any differences between school, all faculty had positive attitudes towards the future of nursing, the younger the staff member, the more positive were the responses. 4. faculty in diploma schools and those with 10 to 19 years clinical experience expressed high agreement with statement about nursing educational problems, 6. their own educational position's intrinsic job satisfaction and 7. their salary and benefits.   • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the compaction and virtue experienced by police officers in the organization on positive emotion and, second, to demonstrate the effect of positive emotion on the organization uniformity, which is subordinate variable. Third, we intend to verify the mediated effect of positive emotion in the relationship between compassion and organization uniformity, and fourthly, to demonstrate the coordination effect of collective self-esteem in the relationship between positive emotion and organization identicalness. Sampling of this study was conducted on 353 male and female police officers working at police stations belonging to the National Police Agency and used these samples for hypothesis testing. Studies have confirmed that the compaction and virtue experienced by police officers have a positive effect on positive emotion, and that positive emotion has a positive effect on the phenomenon of tissue co-ordination. And it has been shown that positive emotion plays a full role in the relationship between compassion, virtue and organizational co-ordination, and that positive emotion and collective self-esteem plays a controlling role in the relationship with organizational co-ordination. The theoretical implications of this study will contribute to creating a positive organizational culture by maintaining a strict hierarchical relationship and spreading the compaction and virtuous behavior to police organizations with high task stress.

HEMAGGLUTINATION AND COLONY HYBRIDIZATION FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF ENTEROTOXIGENIC Escherichia coli ISOLATED FROM HEALTHY PIG

  • Erythrocytes from three different animal species were used to determine mannose-sensitive hemagglutination (MSHA) and mannose-resistant hemagglutination (MRHA) of 755 isolates obtained from rectal swabs of healthy pig. In addition, colony hybridization using digoxigenin-dUTP labeled polynucleotide probes was performed for the detection of heat-stable and heat-labile enterotoxin genes carried by MRHA positive isolates. Of 755 strains, 9, 4 and 28 strains gave a positive MRHA with bovine, equine and pig erythrocytes, respectively. Of these isolates, 28 (3.7%) were characterized for positive MRHA by at least one blood. Seven isolates gave a positive MRHA with two kinds of blood. Three gave a positive MRHA with three kinds of blood. Twenty-eight strains, while positive in MRHA, yielded negative signals in the colony hybridization assay for the detection of heat-stable (STaI and STaII) and heat-labile (LT) enterotoxin genes in E. coli.

The Relationships among Coffeehouse's Physical Environment, Self-Congruity, Positive Emotion, and Revisit Intentions

  • This study sought to describe the relationships among physical environment, self-congruity, positive emotion, and revisit intentions in the coffeehouse setting. This study adopted second-order factor of physical environment in a structural equation model, imploying trend(fashion), cleanliness, reliability, spatial, convenience, and appropriacy as the second-order factors. The conceptual model in this study used responses from 338 college students who visited coffeehouse at least once in the past month. The proposed relationships were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 6.0. The results of data analysis indicated that the six secondorder factors of physical environment significantly affected coffeehouse visitor's self-congruity and positive emotion, and self-congruity as well as positive emotion significantly influenced revisit intentions. Further discussion and theoretical/practical implications of the findings along with directions for future studies are provided. In essence, the findings highlight significant role of coffeehouse's physical environment toward self-congruity and positive emotion in the formation of customer's revisit intentions in the coffeehouse context.

  • To investigate the relations between the physical constitutions, the acid-base balance, and the autonomic nervous function, the blood gas, the heart rate and the concentrations of Na, K of serum were measured pre-and poststimulation. As the result, it is shown that in the normal condition the macro-negative(strong liver- weak lung type) is the metabolic alkalosis, the macro-positive (strong lung-weak liver type) is the metabolic acidosis, the micro-negative(strong kidney-weak spleen type) is the alkalosis and the micro-positive (strong spleen-weak kidney type) is the acidosis. And the ntacro-positive and micro-positive are the sympathetic lead, the macro-negative and micro-negative are the parasympathetic lead. In the macro-positive and micro-positive subjects, the concentration of K in serum is relatively high. This si coincided with the acidosis. But in the macro-negative and micro-negative subjects, the concentration of K in serum is relatively low. This is coincided with the alkalosis.

The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Salesperson's Behavior and Customers' Perceived Service Quality

  • This study discusses salespersons' emotional intelligence, one of the key abilities necessary to meet customers' needs effectively, and express positive emotions in frequent interactions with customer. Emotional intelligence refers to self-controllability and social ability emphasizing pro-social aspect and understanding of others. This study investigates how salespersons' emotional intelligence affects adaptive selling and positive emotional expression during the process of interaction with customers, and how such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression affects the quality of service perceived by customers. The results show that greater salespersons' emotional intelligence results in better adaptive selling and positive emotional expression. Such adaptive selling and positive emotional expression had significant effects on the quality of service perceived by customers. These results are important in that they address emotional intelligence as salespersons' emotional ability, which has been overlooked as an antecedent variable for improving adaptive selling and display of positive emotion, consequently provide another factor to help salespersons improve their selling behavior.

  • This purpose of this study was to examine the connections between positive maternal psychology, internal control, and parenting stress of mothers with young children. The subjects were 398 mothers living in Buchon city. Collected data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysiss, Pearson’s correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results showed that employed mothers had higher positive psychology and lower parenting stress than unemployed mothers. In addition, positive maternal psychology, internal-external control, and parenting stress were all related to each other. In particular, positive psychology was the strongest predictor for parental stress.

  • This paper considers the robust positive real problem for linear systems with linear fractional-type norm-bounded repeated scalar block parameter uncertainty. It is shown that the robust positive real problem can be converted into the standard positive real problem without uncertainty that can be used for the analysis of the given uncertain linear system and the synthesis of a controller that robustly stabilizes and achieves the extended strict positive realness property of the closed-loop transfer function. These results can be also applied to the linear system with general structured uncertainty containing repeated scalar block parameters and are extensions of the previous works that consider only norm-boundedness of the affine unstructured uncertainty.

Modeling of Positive Selection for the Development of a Computer Immune System and a Self-Recognition Algorithm

  • The anomaly-detection algorithm based on negative selection of T cells is representative model among self-recognition methods and it has been applied to computer immune systems in recent years. In immune systems, T cells are produced through both positive and negative selection. Positive selection is the process used to determine a MHC receptor that recognizes self-molecules. Negative selection is the process used to determine an antigen receptor that recognizes antigen, or the nonself cell. In this paper, we propose a novel self-recognition algorithm based on the positive selection of T cells. We indicate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by change-detection simulation of some infected data obtained from cell changes and string changes in the self-file. We also compare the self-recognition algorithm based on positive selection with the anomaly-detection algorithm.
