심전도 기저선 흔들림 잡음 제거를 위한 적응형 필터 설계 (Adaptive Filter Design for Eliminating Baseline Wandering Noise of Electrocardiogram)

  • 모바일 심전도(ECG) 신호 측정은 수 mV의 작은 소 신호를 측정하는 기술로서 동적 잡음을 제거하기 위한 많은 연구가 진행 되어 왔다. 특히 심전도 전극 케이블의 흔들림이나 피부의 움직임으로 인하여 유발 되는 등 전위선 잡음의 제거는 심전도 측정을 위한 핵심 연구 내용 중 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 심전도 신호의 등전위선 동적 잡음을 제거하기 위해 정규화 최소 자승법(NLMS)와 지연 최소 자승법(DLMS) 방식을 결합한 적응 필터의 스텝 사이즈를 결정하여 적용하는 기법을 제안 하였다. 제안한 기법은 필터의 초기 스텝 사이즈를 조정하여 기본 노이즈를 차감 한 후, 해당 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 심전도 신호 특성의 왜곡을 줄이는 방법이다. 본 논문에서의 제안한 기법에서, 필터 계수의 값은 필터 순서 사이즈 및 왜곡 최소화 인자에 의해 직접적으로 스케일링 설정 된다. 그리고 제안된 필터는 실시간 필터링에 필수적인 계산의 복잡성을 줄이도록 하여, 연산시간을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대되므로 소형 프로세서 및 저전력 소비가 요구되는 모바일 심전도 측정기기에 적합한 장점을 가진다. 또한 종래의 NLMS 적응 필터와 신호대잡음비(SNR)를 비교하여 우수함을 확인하였다.

  • 주요 국산재의 여러 가지 응용물성을 지난 3년에 걸쳐 조사하였다. 전보(강 외 4인 2008, 변 외 5인 2008)에 이어 본보에서는 우리나라의 활엽수 주요 수종인 백합나무, 거제수나무, 오동나무를 재료로 사용하였다. 매년 동일한 장치와 실험조건으로 실험하였기 때문에 모든 수종에 대한 결과를 상호 비교 할 수 있었다. 수분흡착성 실험은 80메시 목분을 이용하였으며, 넓은 범위의 상대습도조건에 따른 평형 함수율과 흡착등온선을 구하였다. 열전도율과 열확산률은 열선열전도장치를, 전기의 부피저항률과 저 항은 고전기저항계를 이용하여 측정하였다. 정목재와 판목재의 열적 전기적 특성차이가 관찰되었는데 이는 해부학적 차이에 의한 것으로 보인다. 음향적 성질은 음향측정시스템을 사용하여 동적탄성률, 내부마찰을 측정하였다. 본 논문의 결과들은 목재구조물 설계, 휴대용 목재수분계 보정, 음향적 성질 등에 필요한 기본 자료를 제공한다.

국민 건강관리 및 체력증진을 위한 스마트 1RM 시스템 개발 및 효과 검증에 관한 연구 (Study on the Smart 1RM System Development and Effect Verification for Health Improvement and Management of National Healthcare)

  • 본 연구에서는 디지털 풀리 기술을 이용하여 다양한 운동 형태에서 정량적인 1RM 측정이 가능한 국민건강관리 및 체력증진을 위한 스마트 1RM 시스템을 개발하고 이를 이용하여 훈련 시 그에 대한 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 휴대용 근력 측정 장치, 블루투스 통신 기반 휴대폰 데이터 전송 및 회로도, 높낮이 조절이 가능한 시스템 몸체로 구성된 디지털 풀리 기반 스마트 1RM 측정시스템을 개발하였다. 피험자는 신체 건강한 20대 성인남녀 30명을 대상으로 15명씩 무작위로 개발된 시스템을 이용하여 훈련을 수행하는 그룹과 수행하지 않는 그룹으로 나뉘었다. 피험자는 스마트 1RM 시스템을 이용하여 팔꿈치, 요추, 무릎관절 신전/굴곡 운동을 10회씩 5세트를 수행하였고, 실험 기간은 주 3일, 총 8주간 진행되었다. 개발된 시스템에 대한 유효성 검증을 위해 주관절, 요추관절, 슬관절의 최대근력을 BIODEX System 3를 이용하여 측정하였고 운동 모드에 대한 유효성 검증을 위해 호흡가스분석을 평가하였다. 또한 개발된 1RM 시스템의 최대근력 평가 결과 값에 대한 유효성 검증을 위해 기존 검증된 시스템인 등속성 근기능 측정 모듈인 Biodex system3 결과 값과 비교 분석하였다. 실험결과, 훈련그룹에서 최대근력 증진 운동 전 후 주관절, 요추관절, 슬관절의 최대 근력이 유의하게 모두 증진되는 결과를 얻었다. 1RM 운동모드 중 산소섭취량은 근력강화 운동이 근지구력강화 운동 보다 약 10.91% 더 많은 산소소비량을 나타냈다. 또한 개발된 스마트 1RM 최대근력 측정데이터에 대한 유효성을 검증하기 위해 기존 Biodex system3 데이터와 신뢰도분석을 실시한 결과, 신뢰도는 0.895(*p<0.00)로 매우 높은 신뢰 수준 일치하는 결과를 얻었다. 본 연구는 향후 국민 건강관리 및 체력증진을 보다 정량적으로 활용하고 또한 고령자나 재활환자들의 조기 재활치료에 적용 가능하다고 생각된다.

다채널 ISFET 측정용 단일 바이어스 회로의 설계 (Design of Bias Circuit for Measuring the Multi-channel ISFET)

  • ISFET을 측정할 때 다채널 센서를 이용하면 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있고 노이즈를 제거할 수 있다. 향후 하나의 소자를 이용하여 여러 가지 이온을 측정할 수 있는 센서를 제조하기 위해서도 다채널 센서는 반드시 필요한 과정이다. 그러나 다채널 센서를 개발시 각 센서에 개별적으로 바이어스를 인가한다면 센서의 개수만큼 바이어스 회로가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 영전위회로에 스위칭방식을 도입하여 4개의 pH-ISFET을 바이어스 하는 방식을 제안하였다. 제안된 회로는 4개의 센서에 대해 단지 하나의 바이어스 회로가 필요하므로 개별적인 바이어스 인가방식에 비해 전력을 적게 소모하며 적은 면적에 구현할 수 있다. 제안된 회로는 이산소자를 이용하여 성능을 검증하였다. 또한 최근 센서시스템이 휴대화 되어지는 경향에 따라 검증된 바이어스 회로를 CMOS를 이용하여 집적화 하였다. 설계된 바이어스 회로의 마스크 면적은 $660{\mu}m{\times}500{\mu}m$이다. ISFET은 반도체 집적회로 공정에 의해 제조되므로 향후 CMOS를 이용한 신호처리 회로와 함께 하나의 칩에 집적화 하여 다기능, 다채널, 그리고 지능형의 스마트센서 시스템으로 개발되어져야 바람직할 것이다.

  • 직접 메탄올 연료전지는 간단한 구조와 디자인 그리고 높은 에너지 밀도와 에너지 변환 효율등의 장점으로 인하여 휴대용 장치들의 전력원으로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 직접 메탄올 연료전지의 연료 농도를 감지하기 위한 얇은 나피온 막과 Pt 촉매전극의 합성으로 만들어진 메탄을 센서를 제작하였다. 제작된 메탄을 센서를 사용하여 메탄올 농도와 촉매전극(Pt)의 두께 변화에 따른 전류-전압 특성을 분석하였다. Pt 촉매전극 10nm, 전압이 1V 이고 메탄올 농도 1, 2, 3M일 때 전류 값이 각각 $1.30{\times}10^{-6}A,\;1.96{\times}10^{-6}A,\;2.80{\times}10^{-6} A$ 이었다. 메탄올 농도를 2M로 고정하고 촉매전극의 두께를 5, 10, 15nm로 변화시켰을 때 전류 값은 각각 $3.06{\times}10^{-6}A,\;1.96{\times}10^{-6}A,\;1.00{\times}10^{-6}A$ 이었다. 촉매전극이 얇을수록 전류가 증가하고 전기화학반응이 더 활발히 일어나는 것으로 사료된다.

두개천골요법이 장기요양시설노인의 뇌기능지수에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Cranio-Sacral Therapy on Brain Function Quotient of Elderly with Long-term Care Insurance Service)

  • 최근 CST 효과에 대한 많은 과학적 근거들이 활발히 제시되고 있으며, CST를 실제 임상에서 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 CST가 장기요양시설노인의 뇌기능 향상에 효과가 있는지를 확인하기 위한 비동등성 대조군 전후 설계의 유사 실험연구이다. 2015년 1월 3일~2015년 2월 28일까지 장기요양시설노인 12명(실험군 6명, 대조군 6명)을 대상으로 Upledger가 개발한 10단계(10-Step Protocol) CST를 1회 50분, 주 1회, 8주간, 총 8회 적용하였다. 뇌기능 측정은 2 Channel neuro-feedback system 이동식 뇌파 측정기를 이용하여, CST 시술 시작 전과 마지막 시술 후에 뇌파를 측정하였으며, 한국정신과학연구소에서 개발한 뇌기능 분석 프로그램인 BQ test로 뇌기능지수를 분석하였다. 집단 간 자료의 분석은 SPSS Windows(Version 18.0)프로그램의 Mann-Whitney U-test를 사용하였다. 연구결과 뇌기능지수 중 주의지수(좌)(우), 주의지수의 하위지수인 긴장도(좌)(우), 항스트레스지수(좌)(우), 정서지수, 브레인지수에서 유의한 변화가 나타났고, 주의지수의 하위 지수인 주의비율에서만 유의하지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 CST가 시설노인의 뇌기능지수를 증가시켜 뇌기능을 향상시켰음을 확인할 수 있었으며, CST를 노인요양시설에서 건강과 뇌기능 향상을 위한 효과적인 중재방법으로 활용할 것을 제안한다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction.
