Polyethylene대 저견이 조사에 미치는 영향 (Silk Reelability of the Cocoon Stored in a Pelyethylene Bag)

  • 본보는 Polyethylene대에 저견한 고치와 면대에 저견한 것을 수개월간에 걸쳐서 조사시험한 것으로서 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 살용견은 재건시까지 Polyethylen대에 저장하여 옥외에 방치할 수 있다. 2. Polyethylene대에 저견한 것은 면대저견한 것의 생계량비율보다 약 0.5% 증가되었다. 3. 본 대장으로 곰팡이 해를 방지할 수 있었다. 그러나 서해는 방지할 수 없었다. 4. 본 대장견은 면포대장견보다 수시렁이 유인이 다소 있으나 나프타린 방충제를 대대직전에 견대에 넣으므로서 방지할 수 있다.

투명 폴리백과 반창고를 이용한 간편한 유방 부피 측정법의 소개 (New Measuring Method of Breast Volume Using Polyethylene Bag and Plaster Molding)

  • Purpose: Breast volume is one of the crucial measurements in preoperative planning and postoperative evaluation of the results in mammoplasty. There are several methods suggested by different authors, but there is still no commonly accepted standard methods for measuring breast volume. To help the surgeons to base their estimation on an objective evaluation, we developed a simple method using Polyethylene bag and plaster molding. Methods: After Polyethylene bags were put in suitable size on both breasts of the patient in upright position, silk plaster was molded on the surface evenly. Then molds can be obtained after marking boundaries of breasts with a pen. Breast volume measurement can be done by filling water in the molds and measuring it. Moreover, postoperative design for natural skin brassier was possible using the molds. Results: This method was applied to 2 patients for reduction mammoplasty and the breast volume measurement was simple, hygienic and accurate, done within 10 minutes. Conclusion: This method using Polyethylene bag and plaster molding has several advantages. 1. It is comparatively accurate regardless of the size and shape of patient's breasts in upright position. 2. Measurement time is short and inconvenience and shame of patients can be reduced by making molds after putting on Polyethylene bags. 3. It is relatively economical and uses easily available hygienic materials. 4. The postoperative shape and volume of breasts can be predicted by using molds preoperatively.

저장중(貯藏中) 참깨의 당지질(糖脂質) 및 인지질(燐脂質)의 지방산(脂肪酸) 조성변화(組成變化) (Changes in Fatty Acid Composition of Glycolipid and Phospholipid of Sesame Seed Lipid during Storage)

  • The change in fatty acid compositions of the glycolipid and phospholipid of sesame seed was analyzed during the storage for 4, 9, and 15 months at four different storage conditions, that is, storage under light with linen bag(LA), storage under light with polyethylene bag(LS), storage in dark with linen bag(DA), and storage in dark with polyethylene bag(DS). In the fatty acid composition of glycolipid, palmitic and stearic acid decreased during the storage but the linoleic acid increased significantly, particularly, between 4 to 9 months of storage. The content of palmitic and stearic acid in phospholipid decreased until 9 months, then increased until 15 months of storage, but reverse tendency was, observed in the content of oleic and linoleic acid. The ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids in glycolipid increased during the storage of 15 months in all the storage conditions. The ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids of phospholipid in DA and LA was slightly higher than that in DS and LS conditions during the storage for 15 months.

저장중 참깨의 스테롤 조성변화 (Change in Sterol Compositions of Sesame Seed during Storage)

  • 유리스테롤은 참깨종자유 1g당 $2.33{\sim}3.87mg$으로서 총스테롤의 $36.5{\sim}52.2%$이며 결합스테롤은 $3.47{\sim}4.06mg$이었다. 참깨종자유중 불검화물은 15.9mg/g이며 이중 4-데스매틸스테롤이 55.6%로 가장많고 4-데스메틸스테롤의 조성은 시토스테롤이 29.5%로 가장많고 캄페스테롤이 9.8%, $\Delta^5$-아베나스테롤은 6.6%, 스티그마스테롤은 5.9%이었다. 저장중 스테롤의 변화는 캄페스테롤은 포리에틸렌포대저장에서 4개월까지는 증가하다가 그 이후는 감소하였고, 스티그마스테롤은 암소저장에서 4개월까지는 증가하다가 그 이후는 다시 약간 증가하였다. 또한 시토스테롤의 변화는 무명포대저장의 경우 4개월까지는 증가하다가 그 이후는 급격하게 감소하였으나 포리세틸렌포대의 경우 4개월까지는 거의 변화가 없고 그 이후 9개월까지는 약간 증가하다가 다시 감소 하였다. 그러나 ${\Delta}^5$-아베나스테롤은 변화가 거의 없었다.

Optimization of Solid-State Fermentation for Improved Conidia Production of Beauveria bassiana as a Mycoinsecticide

  • The production of conidia of entomopathogenic Beauveria bassiana by solid-state fermentation was studied for the development of a biocontrol agent against aphid Myzus persicae. The optimal conditions for conidia production on polished white rice were 40% moisture content, $25^{\circ}C$ culture temperature, 2-day-old seeding culture grown in 3% corn meal, 2% rice bran, 2% corn steep powder medium, initial conidia concentration of $10^7$ conidia/g in the wet rice, 10% inoculum size, and use of a polyethylene bag as a container. The polyethylene bag containing inoculated rice was hand-shaken every 12 hr during fermentation. Using optimal conditions, the maximum conidia production obtained was 4.05 g conidia/100 g dry rice after 14 days of cultivation, a rate 2.83 times higher than conidia yield of pre-optimization.

  • 현재의 값비싼 광생물반응기를 대체하기 위하여 비닐백을 소재로 한 보급형 광생물반응기를 개발하고자 본 연구를 실시하였다. 앞선 연구에서 Spirulina platensis NIES 39의 최적배양조건을 확립하였으며, 이를 토대로 하여 이산화탄소 고정화 연구를 실시하였다. 이산화탄소 농도 및 유속에 따른 성장은 10% $CO_2$, 0.1 vvm의 조건에서 가장 높은 2.677 g/L의 건조균체량을 나타냈으며, 이산화탄소 고정화량($F_{CO_2}$)은 4.056 g ${\cdot}{CO_2}$/L, 이산화탄소 고정화속도($R_{CO_2}$)는 0.312 g $CO_2$/L/day로 나타났다. 반면, 이산화탄소 고정화 효율($FE_{CO_2}$)의 경우 5% $CO_2$, 0.1 vvm의 조건에서 나타난 데이터에 비해서 그 절반 수준인 52.372%를 나타내었다. 그리고 빛의 유무에 따른 이산화탄소 주입효과를 알아본 결과, 빛이 있는 조건에서 약 3 h 주기로 10 min간 주입하는 조건이 가장 우수한 성장 및 이산화탄소 고정화를 한 것으로 나타났으며, 빛이 없을 때는 이산화탄소 주입이 무의미하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

플라스틱 온실(溫室)의 열저장(熱貯藏) 시스템 개발(開發)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)(I) -수막식(水膜式) 열교환(熱交換) 시스템의 개발(開發)- (Development of Thermal Storage System in Plastic Greenhouse (I) -Development of Air-Water Heat Exchange System-)

  • For efficient use of solar energy in plastic greenhouse, thermal storage system was developed. The system was constructed with the counter-flow type air-water heat exchanger using a thin polyethylene film as a medium of heat exchange parts. Experiments were carried out to investigate the heat exchange rate, optimum water flow rate, overall heat transfer coefficient, and the effectiveness of the counter-flow type air-water heat exchanger with polyethylene film bags. Mathematical model to predict air temperature leaving heat exchanger was developed. The results obtained in the present study are summarized as follows. 1. Heat exchange rate in the counter-flow type air-water heat exchanger with polyethylene film bags was compared to that of polyethylene film. Heat exchange rate was almost identical at air velocity of 0.5m/s on polyethylene film surface. But, heat exchange rate of heat exchanger with polyethylene film bag was $32{\sim}55KJ/m^2$ hr higher than that of polyethylene film at air velocity of 1.0m/s. 2. Considering the formation of uniform water film and the sufficient heat exchange rate of polyethylene film bags, optimum water flow rate in polyethylene film bags was $3.0{\sim}6.0{\ell}/m^2$ min. 3. The overall heat transfer coefficient of polyethylene film bags was found to be $35.0{\sim}130.0KJ/m^2\;hr\;^{\circ}C$ corresponding to the air velocity ranging 0.5 to 4.0 m/s on polyethylene film surface. And the overall heat transfer coefficient showed almost linearly increasing tendency to the variation of air velocity. 4. Mathematical model to predict air temperature leaving the heat exchanger was developed, resulting in a good agreement between the experimental and predicted values. But, the experimental results were a little lower than predicted. 5. Effectiveness of heat exchanger for the experiment was found to be 0.40~0.81 corresponding to the number of transfer units due to the variation of air velocity ranging 0.6 to 1.7 m/s.

  • To develop a large scale countercurrent single pass heat exchanger for continuous transportation and sterilization of soybean paste, microflora and color value of sterilized soybean paste were examined at various sterile condition. Aerobes, anaerobes, molds, yeasts and lactic acid bacteria were 5.1 x 107 CFU/g, 7.1 x 107 CFU/g, 2.6 x 105 CFU/g, 4.3 x 106 CFU/g, 1.3 x 107 CFU/g, respectively in raw soybean paste. In gold band ampoule test, aerobes and anaerobes of soybean paste were viable up to 90$^{\circ}C$, but become unviable at 100$^{\circ}C$. Molds decreased rapidly and yeasts decreased slowly from 70$^{\circ}C$. Lactic acid bacteria were unviable at 60$^{\circ}C$ within 10 min. In color test, Hunter L, a, and b values of soybean paste were 50.2, +5.6, and +17.8, respectively. After heating in polyethylene film bag at 80$^{\circ}C$, Hunter values were not so much changed and become 50.2, +4.7, and +19.7, respectively. The micorflora and color of soybean paste sterilized in a large scale heat exchanger system resulted in very similar to those of gold band ampoule and polyethylene film bag by effective heat transfer.

감마선 조사(照射)에 의한 쌀 저장에 관한 연구(제1보) (Studies on the Preservation of Korean Rice by Gamma-irradiation(I))

  • 쌀 저장중 곤충과 미생물에 의한 손실을 방지하기 위하여 팔달, 농광 두 품종을 현미와 백미로 도정하고 Polyethylene bag에 포장후 6-400K rad 의 $Co^{60}$${\gamma}$선을 조사하여 8개월간 실온에 저장하면서 곤충, 미생물의 발생상태와 방사선조사에 의한 쌀중 수분과 Amylose, Reducing Sugar, Rancidity 의 변화를 검토하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1)Polyethylene bag에 저장된 쌀은 대조구도 곤충의 발생이 없었으나 가마니에 저장된 것은 5월달부터 곤충이 발생되었다. 2)400K rad 조사로는 쌀중 Yeast와 곰팡이의 살균에 부족하였고 Yeast는 쌀 표면에, 곰팡이는 균사가 쌀 입자에 깊이 뿌리박고 있었다, 3) 저장중 쌀의 수분은 방사선의 영향을 받지 않았다. 4) 선량증가와 저장기간에 따라 전분중 Amylose의 함량은 증가하는 경향이 있다. 5) Free reducing Sugar의 함량은 방사선에 의해 영향을 받지 않았고 저장중 감소하였다. 6) Rancidity는 선량과 저장기간에 따라 증가하였다.
