Control of G/MX/1 Queueing System with N-Policy and Customer Impatience

  • We introduce a queueing system with general arrival stream and exponential service time under the N-policy, where customers may renege during idle period and arrival rates may vary according to the server's status. Probability distributions of the lengths of idle period and busy period are derived using absorbing Markov chain approach and a method to obtain the optimal control policy that minimizes long-run expected operating cost per unit time is provided. Numerical analysis is done to illustrate and characterize the method.

한방병원의 서비스 품질요인이 고객 만족도와 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Service Quality Factors on Customer Satisfaction and Intention of Revisit in Korean Medicine Hospital)

  • This study was performed to analyze systematically and validate empirically the influence of korean medicine service quality on satisfaction factors and revisiting intention. The candidates were patients visiting the one korean medicine hospital in Gyeongnam. We took a direct survey collected during 15 days May 1 to 15, 2016. For the survey I distributed a total of 250 questionnaire and used the final 230 of them in verifying this research model except unreliable data. The collected data were used statistics program SPSS WIN 22.0 and the research model were examined by AMOS 18.0. The main research results are follows. First, the most influencing factors on consumer satisfaction were public image factors and then human factors. and then effectiveness factors. Second, the most influencing factors on reuse intention were public image factors and then physical factors. Third, human and effectiveness factors of service quality factors in korean medicine hospital did not effect on revisiting intention directly but, effected on revisiting intention through mediation role of the customer satisfaction. Forth, satisfaction on the significant effect on reuse intention. so satisfaction has proved to be a important factor for reuse intention. The results of this study are expected to contribute to management efficiency and developmental improvement on korean medicine hospital policy and management efficiency and be used as a basis for leading to national health promotion through the development of korean medicine service.

The Study on the Effect of Casino Tourism Policy : Focused on the Casino Tourists Service in Macau Area1

  • Purpose - This study is regarding customer service environment in casino marketing under a study on the factors affecting casino tourist satisfaction based on casino tourists' various needs. Research design and methodology - The study of casino tourism policy factors is proceeded by interviewing tourists of Macao casino. A total of 220 copies were distributed and 193 copies were collected, but 13 copies were not conceded due to insincere responses, and a total of 180 cases were analyzed for this study. Based on the analysis results, the casino tourism policy factors were derived through satisfaction level of casino tourist service as follows. Results - Firstly, the casino tourist satisfaction is a positive influence on casino visits, so efforts should be made to enhance tourist satisfaction when establishing cultural experience programs and casino marketing strategies. Casino culture for tourist should be matured to develop casino tour. In order to increase the satisfaction level of revisiting casino resorts, various cultural products such as clean environment should be developed to enhance the satisfaction level of casino visitors in the future. Secondly, a positive impact of cultural, experiential visits and psychological motivations affect to tourists' psychological stability through cultural experiences as well as casino games. Thirdly, casino tourist satisfaction has been shown to provide a positive impact on behavior intention. Conclusions - Based on the results of this research, the marketing of casino tour is to identify tourists' needs and increase satisfaction.

종합슈퍼마켓(GSM)에서 서비스품질, 보증 및 서비스가치의 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of factor of Service Quality, Service Guarantee and Service Value in General Super Market.)

  • Purpose - This study plans to adopt a more sophisticated approach toward service recognition by customers in general supermarkets in order to revise the service quality measurement methods that suit the context of Korean distribution channels. In particular, in general supermarkets, where much of the shopping process is in the form of self-service, there is high reliance on the service recognized by the consumers; therefore, it is highly likely that consumers would make their purchasing decisions based on their recognition of service quality or guarantees. It also utilized service quality elements of a basic level in the KD-SQS development model in order to indicate that the quality recognized by consumers impacts their loyalty to the stores with financial value and abstract value. Research design, data, and methodology - The study suggested a theoretical model comprising 13 hypotheses on relations between theoretic variables, and conducted surveys with consumers using discount stores in Seoul and Gyunggi Metropolitan area in order to verify the hypotheses, while using SPSS 20.0, AMOS 21.0 as the verification program. The survey sheets used amounted to 332, and a structural equation model was used to analyze the reliability and validity of constituent elements and to verify the suggested hypothesis. Therefore, this study analyzes the interrelations between service quality and guarantee factors in the distribution channel and their relations with the loyalty to stores as a dependent variable. Results - First, the results of the hypotheses tests helped identify the relations between service quality, service guarantees, service value, and customer loyalty, providing an opportunity to define the relations between constituent elements. In particular, service convenience in service quality has no impact on financial values. Further, stores' service policy had no impact on abstract values. Service recognition by service convenience has an impact on abstract values such as good image, comfort, and usability, while mileage systems promote financial values for consumers. In order to improve consumer values in service quality and values, general supermarkets should improve their service convenience, membership, and mileage programs using various strategies. Further, as service guarantee systems have a significant and direct impact on customer loyalty, rather than customer value recognition, service guarantees should be used to encourage customers to re-visit the stores. Finally, this study applied the findings of preceding studies in terms of service quality measurement; it had limitations in referencing preceding studies in a comprehensive manner. It also had limits in expanding upon various preceding studies because it was difficult to apply new measurement tools due to the lack of service quality measurement tools for general supermarkets. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct more studies on service quality to measure service quality and develop measurement tools by incorporating various industry characteristics.

  • 본 연구는 복합기 제품에 있어서의 지각된 품질 요인, 브랜드이미지, 고객충성도 간의 관계를 규명함으로써 충성고객 확보에 효과적으로 접근할 수 있는 컨설팅 영역을 알아보고자 진행하였다. 연구목적의 달성을 위하여 관련 선행연구를 근거로 연구모형과 가설을 수립한 후 산업체의 구매의사 결정자를 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 타당성 분석 및 신뢰도 분석과 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 복합기의 지각된 품질 구성요인이 브랜드이미지에 미치는 영향 정도는 제품품질, 판매원 서비스 속성, 서비스 품질의 순으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 복합기 제품의 브랜드이미지는 고객충성도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 복합기 제품과 관련한 연구범위를 경영분야까지 확장하였다는데 의의가 있으며 복합기 제품과 유사한 사업구조를 갖는 산업에 있어서의 경영전략 수립 실무 및 경영 컨설팅에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

베트남 모바일결재시스템 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on Factors Affecting Customer Intention to Use Mobile Payment System in Vietnam)

  • Nowadays, mobile commerce is having an increasingly profound impact on our daily lives, and offer interesting and advantageous new services. Mobile payment is an emerging and important application of mobile commerce in smart work, enabling users to use their mobile devices (especially mobile phones) for paying goods and services wherever they go. The appearance of m-payment is expected to provide us a convenient and bright future to enjoy. That is the common trend on over the world, but in Vietnam, although the number of smart phone users has been increasing rapidly, the adoption of m-payment system still didn't succeed completely. The research reviewed literature regarding mobile payment services, analyzed the impact of customer characteristics and system characteristics on m-payment adoption in Vietnam. To analyze the adoption behaviors of m-payment users, m-payment research model which consists of three customer-characteristics (m-payment trust, personal innovativeness, m-payment knowledge) and four m-payment system characteristics (mobility, reachability, convenience, compatibility) were studied. The results indicate that perceived usefulness, trust, and compatibility are the important predictors to the intention to use m-payment. This study will assist m-payment services suppliers in implementing appropriate business models and service strategies to successfully attract customer to use m-payment in Vietnam, allowing managers to exert appropriate investment, time, and effort for m-payment system development in designing smart working.

Entrepreneurial Ecosystem - What Boosts Herders' Business Most in Mongolia?

  • Entrepreneurship is a creation of new combinations of goods and services. Today, every aspect of business operations has been changing, which we call development. The conventional business included production and manufacturing of goods and serving things the customer needed. Today, the business has changed form so that the demands of customers are shaped by the good or service which has been created by the businesses. Entrepreneurship in Mongolia is not a new concept but nowadays the number of entrepreneurs in Mongolia has grown sharply. Mongolia was a nomadic culture during its history and is probably the only nomadic culture left in the world today. Mongolian herders are the largest and the most powerful representation of successful entrepreneurs in Mongolia. Another practice of herders in the world are in Australia. Along with a comparison of the policy and government support system of Australia, this study intends to assess how 6 factors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem fit herders in Mongolia. As a result of this assessment, we propose policy to support the entrepreneurial mechanism of herders and identify cultural factors which support the existence of herding.

온라인 쇼핑몰의 이용동기가 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 중국 유학생을 중심으로 (The Effects of online shopping mall Usage Motives in e-commerce on Repurchase Intention: Centered on international Chinese students)

  • 본 연구는 한국의 중국유학생들을 대상으로 온라인 쇼핑몰의 이용 동기가 재 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 중국유학생 255명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 SPSS 23.0을 통해 온라인 쇼핑몰의 이용 동기 및 고객만족도, 재 구매의도의 구조적 관계를 규명하였다. 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 온라인 쇼핑몰의 이용 동기 중 제품 지각, 고객 서비스 및 쇼핑 경험은 고객 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이용 동기 중 제품 지각, 쇼핑 경험, 고객 서비스가 재구매 의도를 명확하게 표현하는 것이 일반적이며 이 부분을 실증적으로 재확인하였다. 셋째, 만족도는 재구매 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과에 따르면 한국에서 중국인 유학생들의 온라인 쇼핑몰의 이용 동기는 만족도 및 재 구매의도의 영향을 미치는 중요 요인으로 기여하는 것으로 확인되었다. 향후 연구에서는 온라인 쇼핑몰의 유형에 따라서 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

  • 최근 금융산업의 글로벌 트렌드인 오픈뱅킹(Open Banking)이 향후 금융시장 내 다양한 혁신을 일으키는 원동력이 되고 금융업의 분화와 재결합을 촉발하기 위해서는 올바른 정책방향과 세부 과제의 추진이 중요하다. 본 연구는 오픈뱅킹의 등장배경, 국내외 동향 그리고 한국의 오픈뱅킹 정책을 조사·분석하고, 오픈뱅킹 제도의 성공적인 안착과 활성화를 위한 정책방향과 추진과제를 제언하고자 한다. 오픈뱅킹은 고객의 명시적 동의를 전제로 제3자(TPP: Third Party Provider)에게 은행 계좌 등에 대한 접근을 허용하고 지급결제(Payment) 기능을 개방하는 정책이다. 오픈뱅킹 시대 개막은 은행과 핀테크 기업 간의 경쟁과 협력이 본격적으로 시작되는 계기가 되어 금융산업의 경쟁력을 높이고 금융소비자의 효용 증대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다. 이를 위해 정책당국은 개방형 금융결제 인프라 의 고도화, 오픈뱅킹 법적 근거 마련과 함께 고객 데이터 유출, 금융시스템 안정성 저하 등의 부작용을 최소화하는데 만전을 기해야 한다. 은행과 핀테크 기업은 흩어져 있는 고객 금융정보를 하나의 플랫폼으로 단순 집중하여 상품 또는 서비스를 추천하는 금융서비스의 표면적 결합을 넘어 진정한 금융서비스의 융합과 차별로 발전시켜야 할 것이다.

  • Recently, software distribution method, along with advent of era of Web 2.0, is rapidly evolving from ASP(Application Service Provider) method into SaaS(Soft as a Service) method due to development in concepts and technologies including SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) Web Service, On Demand and Component. Determining factor in market competitiveness of newly emerging SaaS business model will be analyzed by focusing on Group-Wares, POS(Point of Sale) System, CRM(Customer Relationship Management) and ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), which are the most representative SaaS business models in Korea. It is anticipated that the outcome of analysis of determining factors for market competitiveness for each of the main SaaS Business Models acquired through questionnaire survey can be utilized as important benchmarking material in setting the direction of cultivating SaaS market by the government as well as new entries into SaaS market.
