  • Environmental conservation is becoming the major conversation topic in the 21st century, the era of environment. In the Law for the Preservation of Water Quality, article 53 states "A business unit which is doing business causing pollution caused by non-point pollutant or builds waste water discharge facilities, should report the installation of the non-point pollutant and install the required pollution control facilities". Environmental pollution caused by oil leaks during operation or maintenance has been found in the railway sector. Especially, rolling stock depot is most likely to be affected by environmental pollution. Therefore, in this paper We have investigated non-point pollutant in the rolling stock depot area and have studied adequate disposal method to minimize the effect of the non-point pollutant, hoping to supply the preliminary data for building an environment-friendly rolling stock depot.

회전날을 이용한 홍고추의 꼭지 절단 경향 분석 (Analysis of Red Pepper Calyx Cutting Using a Rotational Cutter)

  • Red pepper calyx cutting devices using a impacting force by a rotational cutter were devised and tested to obtain the fundamental data for development of a calyx removal unit. Fresh red peppers with 80∼87%(w.b.) of initial moisture contents were used as experimental materials. Square and wire type of rotational cutters were used to cut the red pepper calyx and the fresh red peppers were fed into the device both manually and automatically. Three rotational speeds of 250, 500, 700rpm were selected for a square, and 1000, 1500, 1800rpm for a wire type cutter respectively. Four types of red pepper fixing unit were used in manual feeding. The cutting rate of the square type cutter was over 50% regardless the shape and specification of the cutter. For the wire type cutter, the copper wire and nylon chord could not be applied to cut the red pepper calyx because of the low cutting rate. But for the fine wire, the cutting rate was higher and the cutting mechanism was more steady than copper wire and nylon chord. The cutting rate of automatic feeding and wire type cutting unit was about 70% for all levels of the rotational speed. The cutting rate was highly related to the impacting point of red pepper in carrier box. To increase the cutting rate using the rotational cutter, a proper device and mechanism was required to keep the impacting point consistently.

  • 구현하기 위하여 고정 소수점 연산기에 적합하도록 최적화를 수행하였다. 최적화 과정은 크게 부호화기의 음질을 고려하여 프로세서의 데이터 워드 길이를 결정하는 과정과 자주 사용되는 초월 함수를 고정 소수점 연산을 통해 구현하는 것으로 구성된다. 데이터 워드 길이를 결정하기 위하여 심리음향 모델 과정의 고정 소수점 연산 오차와 이 오차가 비트 할당 과정에 영향을 미칠 확률 사이의 관계를 통계적 모델로 정의하였다. 여기서 정의된 모델을 사용하여 고정 소수점 연산 오차에 의한 영향이 1% 이내가 되도록 24비트의 데이터 워드를 선택하였다. 최적화된 고정 소수점 심리음향 모델을 사용한 MP3 부호화기의 음질은 부동 소수점 부호화기에 비해 W-R의 음질평가 점수를 기준으로 평균 -0.2 이내의 구분하기 힘든 수준의 음질 저하를 보였다

한강유역의 면적감소계수 산정 (The Estimation of Areal Reduction Factor(ARF) in Han-Rwer Basin)

  • 설계홍수량 산정에는 강우-유출 모형이 주로 사용되고 있으며 이 모형의 가장 중요한 인자는 확률강우량과 단위도이다. 따라서, 확률강우량을 합리적이고 정확하게 산정하는 것은 가장 중요한 과정이다. 국내의 경우, 확률강우량은 유역면적이 일정 기준을 초과할 경우에는 면적확률강우량을 사용하여야 하나 지점평균확률강우량을 주로 사용하고 있다. 이에 따라 확률강우량은 상당히 높게 사용하는 반면 단위도는 상대적으로 낮게 사용하고 있어서 개선 이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 1일, 2일 강우량을 24시간, 48시간 강우량으로 변환하기 위한 계수를 제시하였으며, 유역의 동시간 강우자료를 이용하여 임의시간 면적강우량 자료계열을 작성하였다. 또한 자료계열의 빈도해석을 통하여 기존의 지점평균확률강우량과 면적확률강우량을 산출한 후 면적에 따른 지점평균확률강우량의 면적확률강우량으로의 감소율인 면적감소계수론 산정하였다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 면적감소계수는 지점평균강우량에서 면적확률강우량을 손쉽게 환산할 수 있는 방안이 된다.

지적도면정보 좌표등록의 통일화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Unified Method of Coordinate Registration in Cadastral Map Information)

  • 지적도면정보는 필지단위로 소재지, 지번, 지목, 경계 등의 일정한 사항을 지적측량 등에 의해 등록함으로써 생성된다. 그러나 전산화된 지적도면정보는 경계점좌표가 소수점 3자리인 mm 단위의 등록과 소수점 2자리인 cm 단위로 이원화되어 등록되고 있어 지적행정과 지적측량에 혼란을 초래하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지적도면정보의 좌표등록과 면적산정에 대한 문제점 분석을 통하여 지적도면정보 좌표등록의 소수점 자리수 통일방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 소수점 자리수에 의한 면적의 변화량을 실험한 결과 토지이동으로 인한 면적의 변동과 미세폴리곤의 발생은 좌표의 등록을 소수점 2자리의 등록을 소수점 3자리로 변경한다면 해결이 가능함을 제시할 수 있었고, 이를 위해 제도적으로 소수점 3자리까지 등록할 수 있도록 법을 개정하여 운용하여야 함을 제시하였다.

  • This study modifies the present total maximum daily load (TMDL) system of Ministry of Environment and applies to the Anyangcheon watershed. Hydrologic Simulation Program-FORTRAN (HSPF) model is used to simulate both runoff and non-point source pollution, simultaneously, instead of QUAL2E. The drought flow (355th daily flow) is proposed for the target water quantity since it is easier to satisfy low flow (275th daily flow) for the target water quality than drought flow. The increase of discharge is more than the increase of pollutant load except for the period under low flow. The measured unit loads for non-point source are used to consider the regional runoff characteristics. The measured water quantity and quality data are used since the ministry of environment supports only water quality. This analysis results show some reasons for the improvement of the present TMDL system of Korea.

화공플랜트 견적 소프트웨어 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of the Estimation Software for a Petrochemical Plant)

  • The current dual-watchdog estimation system has individually calculated the construction, the engineering and the procurement cost. The dual-watchdog estimation system is inefficient and prolonged estimation period because of the lack of the interoperability and the difference of material unit cost and construction unit cost. In order to resolve this problem, new estimation software was developed. The estimation software is developed by making up for the weak points in existing estimation method. The cost data with the same standard is the key point. And this software enhanced accuracy and speed of the data search in stylized estimation standard. A summary of the construction, the engineering and the procurement cost was generated in this estimation software. The unit rate about the labor cost, equipment and expense through a sheet was handled. The developed estimation software has five categories on engineering cost, procurement cost, construction cost and subcontractor management sheet. In this study, the estimation software to supplement the faults of the existing estimation method was developed. And estimation software on petrochemical projects increases an efficiency of the estimation work.

수중 데이터 통신 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구 (I) -에코 신호 전송 시스템- (development of Underwater Data Communication System (I) -Echo Signal Transfer System-)

  • This paper describes a Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) modulator and demodulator and the experimented underwater data ommunication equipment to transfer the analog echo signal in real-time from an underwater vehicle to the mother ship. The system consists of an echo signal transfer unit equipped to the vehicle and an ultrasonic receiver equipped on the ship. The former includes an ultrasonic transceiver unit of 180kHz for echo detection and a continuous wave transmitter of 50kHz with a FSK modulator for echo transmission to the ship. The latter includes an ultrasonic receiver of 50kHz and the FSK demodulator. The results of experiment are as follows. 1. The characteristics of the FSK modulating and demodulating circuits designed with the use of C-MOS IC 4046 was good and confirmed its usefulness in underwater data communication system.2. The prototype ultrasonic transceiver unit shows profitable driving power while the pulse duration was short less than 3 msec, but it was found that the driving power is not sufficient while the long pulse duration or continuous wave is used. The gain of the ultrasonic receiver was 80 dB and the receiving bandwidth 700Hz (at - 3 dB point).3. It was found that the system designed by the author has some possibility to use in underwater echo transfer.4. At the FSK modulator, the widths of voltage and frequency which represent linearity were 3.5 V, 1600Hz, respectively, at the FSK demodulator 2.6 V, 700Hz, respectively.

중환자실 간호사의 임상 적응 경험 (Experience of Clinical Adaptation among Nurses in Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to explore and describe intensive care unit (ICU) nurses' experience of clinical adaptation. Methods : The participants were 14 ICU nurses with more than two years of working experience in the ICU. Data were collected through in-depth individual interviews conducted between July and October 2021. Theoretical sampling was used to the point of theoretical saturation. Data were analyzed using the Strauss and Corbin method. Results : A total of 79 concepts, 37 subcategories, and 16 categories were identified through open coding. Axial coding based on the paradigm model revealed that the central phenomenon was "The harsh adversity faced in the nursing field where life and death are determined" and the core category was "Enduring the adversity of caring for critically ill patients and achieving self-realization." ICU nurses' clinical adaptation process was explained in five phases: "confrontation period," "turbulent period," "seeking period," "struggling period," and "stabilized period." The five phases that affect interventional conditions were "Support from reliable people," "Recognition of administrative and financial support." Conclusion : This study provided novel insights for a comprehensive understanding of ICU nurses' clinical adaptation processes. Furthermore, the findings are expected to be used as basic data to develop multifaceted strategies to help ICU nurses' adaptation to critical care.
