Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the relationships between health literacy competencies and patient-centered care among clinical nurses. Methods: The participants of this study were 254 nurses working in two hospitals in the D region. The data were collected from July to August 2020. The health literacy competencies for registered nurses scale and individualized care scale were utilized. Descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. Results: The mean of health literacy competencies was 3.16±0.31 points on a four-point scale, and the average of patient-centered care was 3.69±0.50 points on a five-point scale. Regarding the nurses' general characteristics, patient-centered care showed significant differences according to age (F=4.68, p=.010), marital status (t=-2.38, p=.018), religion (F=3.03, p=.030), total clinical experience (F=2.94, p=.021) and prior health literacy knowledge (t=3.20, p=.002). As a result of a hierarchical multiple regression analysis, health literacy competencies (β=.63) were found to significantly influence patient-centered care. The explanatory power of the model was 41.0% (F=25.58, p<.001). Conclusion: The study suggests that nurse's health literacy competencies should be developed in order to improve patient-centered care. Nursing education should include an emphasis on integrating health literacy into the nursing school curriculum.

Graphene by one of the two-dimensional (2D) materials has been focused on electronic applications due to its ultrahigh carrier mobility, outstanding thermal conductivity and superior optical properties. Although graphene has many remarkable properties, graphene devices have low on/off current ratio due to its zero bandgap. Despite considerable efforts to open its bandgap, it's hard to obtain appropriate improvements. To solve this problem, heterojunction barristor was proposed based on graphene. Mostly, this heterojunction barristor is made by transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), such as molybdenum disulfide ($MoS_2$) and tungsten diselenide ($WSe_2$), which have extremely thickness scalability of TMDs. The heterojunction barristor has the advantage of controlling graphene's Fermi level by applying gate bias, resulting in barrier height modulation between graphene interface and semiconductor. However, charged impurities between graphene and $SiO_2$ cause unexpected p-type doping of graphene. The graphene's Fermi level modulation is expected to be reduced due to this p-doping effect. Charged impurities make carrier mobility in graphene reduced and modulation of graphene's Fermi level limited. In this paper, we investigated theoretically and experimentally a relevance between graphene's Fermi level and p-type doping. Theoretically, when Fermi level is placed at the Dirac point, larger graphene's Fermi level modulation was calculated between -20 V and +20 V of $V_{GS}$. On the contrary, graphene's Fermi level modulation was 0.11 eV when Fermi level is far away from the Dirac point in the same range. Then, we produced two types heterojunction barristors which made by p-type doped graphene and graphene treated 2.4% APTES, respectively. On/off current ratio (32-fold) of graphene treated 2.4% APTES was improved in comparison with p-type doped graphene.

Diagnosis and treatment procedures in cancers and resulting anxiety negatively affect the individual and the family. Particularly treatment methods may generate psychological symptoms. The aim of this study was to determine the level of such symptoms in Turkish gynecologic cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. A total of 41 patients who were referred to our gynecologic oncology research clinic between January-March 2012, receiving 3 months or more chemotherapy and who agreed to participate were enrolled in study. All the data were collected using a personal information form, Edmonton Symptom Assesment System and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. Patients received highest point average from fatigue symptom ($6.53{\pm}2.67$) and lowest point average from dyspnea ($1.53{\pm}3.03$) according to Edmonton Symptom Assesment System. The mean State Anxiety score of patients was $43.1{\pm}9.77$ and mean Trait Anxiety score was $46.7{\pm}7.01$. Comparing symptoms of patients and mean State Anxiety score it was found that there was a statistically significant corelation with symptoms like pain (p<0.05), sadness (p<0.001), insomnia (p<0.05), state of well being (p<0.001) and dyspnea (p<0.05). Similarly comparing symptoms of patients and mean Trait Anxiety score demonstrated significant correlations for fatigue (p<0.05), sadness (p<0.01), insomnia (p<0.01) and state of well-being (p<0.01). As a result, patients with gynecological cancers experienced symptoms related to chemotherapy and a moderate level of anxiety. In accordance, appropriate interventions should recommended for the evaluation and improvement of anxiety and symptoms related to treatment in cancer patients.

The following are the results from the infrared body temperature image test to verify the changes in facial temperature according to call duration with a cellular phone. As for the body temperatures, it appears to be the mean value at the upper central point of phone's battery among 7 different points that are measured, and to be the highest at srernocleido-mastoid and scapular trapezius muscle triangle zone$(34.25^{\circ}C\; and\;34.05^{\circ}C\;each)$. The changes of body temperature according to the time duration shows that the body temperature rises according to the length of phone use because of the heat emitted from the battery. As for the temperature changes according to blocking materials, the one without processing appears to be higher in the mean temperature compared to the others that are processed, NSS(Nano Silver Silk) and NSG(Nano Silver Silk Gold) appear to be the lowest in the temperature to show the best blocking property. As for the temperature changes according to measuring points, it appears to be the highest at P4, P5 with all materials, and one with NSG to be the lowest at Pl, P2, P3, and one with NSS to be the lowest at P3, P4, P5, P6, which is due to the thermal conduction of Au and Ag. And the mean temperature at each point appears to be different according to the materials. Therefore, the study conducted with human participants requires a proper particle size of it which would not penetrate cellular tissues and a proper binder and binding treatment for it, to prevent the physical fatigues and the potential diseases. However, it is highly required for back-up researches to verify various aspects in applying nano silver to textile products.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Ga-Al-As (Gallium-Aluminum-Arsenid) laser radiation on the tail-flick latency in rat. Thirty Sprague-Dawley male and female rats Were divided into five groups : that is control, laser 15sec radiation, laser 30sec radiation, laser 60sec radiation, and Tramadol Hcl injection groups. The continuous Ga-Al-As laser with, wave length 780-830nm and diameter of probe in the 3mm, averse output of 100mw radiation was applied to the meridian point(Gv 1 : Governing vessel) of the rats. Tail-flick latency were measured with hot plate at $55^{\circ}C$ : before treatment and immediately, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 24 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after treatment. The result were as follows ; 1. The tail-flick latency according to time varition, control group was not significance. 2. The tail-flick latency according to time varition, laser 15 sec irradiate rats in post-treared was significance(P<0.05). 3. The tail-flick latency according to time varition, laser 30 sec irradiate rats group was not significance. 4. The tail-flick latency according to time varition, laser 60 sec irradiate rats in post 30 minute was significance(P<0.05). 5. The tail-flick latency according to time varition, Tramadol Hcl injection rats in post-treated (P<0.05), post 30 minute(P<0.05), post 60 minute (P<0.01) and 2 hour(P<0.05) was significance. This study suggest that Ga-Al-As (Gallium-Aluminum-Arsenid) laser applied to meridian point of the rat with 15 sec, 30 sec, and 60 set radiation could induc no analgesic effect, but Tramadol Hcl injection rat is good analgesic effect.
Objectives The aim of this study was to investigate clinical factors of SQD syndrome by tracking plasma gut hormone (active ghrelin, active Glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1), pancreatic polypeptide(PP), total peptide YY(PYY)) profiling of pre-post prandial standard meal between SQD group and normal group. Methods A total of 24 adult participants were consecutively recruited on April 2014. They were diagnosed as either by SQD syndrome or normal by Spleen Qi Deficiency Questionnaire (SQDQ). On the experimental day, blood samplings of 2 ml were repeatedly collected at 6 points from 2 groups for measuring plasma levels of gut hormones. At every point, subjective appetite sensations were self-registered. Results & Conclusions 1. There were significantly lower subjective 'Appetite' (p=0.012) and higher 'Satiety' (p=0.012) in SQD group. At each time point, subjective 'Appetite' was significantly lower at 60 min after breakfast (p=0.034) and 'Satiety' were significantly higher at 15 min (p=0.020) and 120 min (p=0.044) after breakfast in SQD group. 2. There were no significant differences in plasma levels of gut hormones (active ghrelin, active GLP-1, PP, total PYY) between SQD and normal group. Also at each time point, there were no significant differences of plasma levels of gut hormones between SQD and normal group. 3. Changes in plasma levels of gut hormones compared to baseline were not significantly different at each time point between SQD and normal group. Plasma PYY levels compared to baseline increased in SQD group following 15 min and 30 min after breakfast but decreased in normal group. 4. Further investigation is needed to construct gut hormone profiling and in this perspective, we can approach evaluation tool on variable appetite in Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) syndrome in the future.

The use of sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine (SP) for treatment of vivax malaria is uncommon in most malarious areas, but Plasmodium vivax isolates are exposed to SP because of mixed infections with other Plasmodium species. As P. vivax is the most prevalent species of human malaria parasites in Iran, monitoring of resistance of the parasite against the drug is necessary. In the present study, 50 blood samples of symptomatic patients were collected from 4 separated geographical regions of south-east Iran. Point mutations at residues 57, 58, 61, and 117 were detected by the PCR-RFLP method. Polymorphism at positions 58R, 117N, and 117T of P. vivax dihydrofolate reductase (Pvdhfr) gene has been found in 12%, 34%, and 2% of isolates, respectively. Mutation at residues F57 and T61 was not detected. Five distinct haplotypes of the Pvdhfr gene were demonstrated. The 2 most prevalent haplotypes were F57S58T61S117 (62%) and F57S58T61N117 (24%). Haplotypes with 3 and 4 point mutations were not found. The present study suggested that P. vivax in Iran is under the pressure of SP and the sensitivity level of the parasite to SP is diminishing and this fact must be considered in development of malaria control programs.
The utilized coefficient of friction (UCOF) as a ratio of the shear force to the normal force on the ground during walking is used to identify the point at which slip is likely to occur. Shoe walking will change the utilized coefficient of friction by shoe design such as sole thickness and hardness, heel shape, and outsole pattern. In this study, subjects are 21 adults (10 female, 11 male, age: $25.2{\pm}2.3yrs$, height: $165.6{\pm}7.2cm$), analysis variables were walking speed, GRF, when the UCOF is maximal, and Tangent of CoP-CoM angle, and correlation analysis with the utilized friction coefficient (UCOF). As a result, First, for the shod walking the time point which UCOF is maximum about heel strike was faster and the magnitude was larger than for barefoot walking. Second, the correlation between the tangent of CoP-CoM and UCOF of right foot was higher at the left heel striking point (UCOF2_h) which occurred in the post propulsion phase than at the right heel striking point (UCOF1_h). This suggests that the right foot UCOF is related to the braking phase of left foot( which is the propulsion phase of right foot) rather than the braking phase of right foot.

In this work we present a robust and fast approach to estimate 3D vehicle pose that can provide results under a specific traffic surveillance conditions. Such limitations are expressed by single fixed CCTV camera that is located relatively high above the ground, its pitch axes is parallel to the reference plane and the camera focus assumed to be known. The benefit of our framework that it does not require prior training, camera calibration and does not heavily rely on 3D model shape as most common technics do. Also it deals with a bad shape condition of the objects as we focused on low resolution surveillance scenes. Pose estimation task is presented as PnP problem to solve it we use well known "POSIT" algorithm [1]. In order to use this algorithm at least 4 non coplanar point's correspondence is required. To find such we propose a set of techniques based on model and scene geometry. Our framework can be applied in real time video sequence. Results for estimated vehicle pose are shown in real image scene.
