디젤 차량 플런저 부품의 스트립 레이아웃 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the strip layout design in the plunger parts of diesel vehicles)

  • 플런저(Plunger)의 부품 용도는 점화 플러그와 조립 되는 부품으로 연료 분사장치에 적용하여 연료 효율이 약 15~20% 개선됨이 일본에서 검증되어 일본은 상용화 되었다. 국내에서는 개발단계로 처음에 냉간단조로 개발하였다가 원가 및 생산성 문제로 프로그레시브금형(Progressive Die)로 개발 하려는 단계이다. 디젤기관에 사용되며 기관의 출력을 조절하기 위해 플런저를 이용하여 연료의 토출량을 조절할 때 사용이 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 디젤 차량에 장착되는 플런저를 냉간단조방식이 아닌 원가 및 생산성을 확보할 수 있는 프로그레시브 금형에 적용하여 양산할 수 있는 스트립 레이아웃을 개발하고자 하였다.

진공다이캐스팅시 국부스퀴즈 효과가 주조품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Partial Squeeze on the Quality of Casting Products in the Vacuum Die Casting)

  • The effect of partial squeeze on the quality of casting products in the vacuum die casting was investigated to make defect free casting products with excellent mechanical properties. The partial squeeze and vacuum die casting process was industrially implemented in making reaction shaft support which was made of a hypereutectic Al-15%Si alloy. To combine squeezing and vacuum effects, the plunger injection system was designed and attached on the chill vent type vacuum machinery system. The combination of vacuum effect before injection and partial squeezing effect after injection resulted in defect free die casting products. The uniform distribution of fine eutectic and proeutectic Si obtained from trial process also provided excellent mechanical properties.

ATM 게이트 모듈의 응답속도 개선 (Reduction of the Response Time of an ATM Gate Module)

  • ATM is a machine that receives and pays money. The gate module of ATM separates forgeries from bills and changes the transfer direction of bills. In this paper, the dynamic behavior of the gate was analyzed numerically and experimentally. The moment of inertia of the gate lever, the driving force of the solenoid and the spring force were measured, respectively. And the displacements of the plunger, the Input voltage and current were measured experimentally. The measured dynamic behaviors were simulated numerically using Maxwell program which can accommodate the electromagnetic problem of the solenoid. Through the analysis, the design factors were found to make a fast and reliable new ATM gate module.

  • The operating speed of PWM controlled high speed magnet is affected by mass of plunger magnetic motive force inductance and return spring It is impossible to change the value of them for the purpose of increasing the speed because these factors are related with each other This paper introduces a speed increasing method using a non magnetic ring which is welded in the middle of magnetic guide tube and also presents the characteristic equations results of FEM analysis for magnetic flux distribution and computer simulation results for the dynamic characteristics of plunger motion And we proved the effect of non magnetic ring by experiments using a prototype

  • The electromagnetic force of magnetic plunger for electromagnetic pump system are calculated by finite element method which consider the eddy current, the plunger motion. The mechanical motion equation are solved Rune-Kutta method, and coupled with the finite element method. With the external circuit equation dynamic simulation of the pump system are achieved. Electrostatic flux is verified by comparing with other commercial analysis software. Similar analysis of other type solenoidal actuators can be done by this procedure.

  • The control performances for active re-reflecting wave control suggested in the previous paper have been verified in cases of regular and irregular waves in a real two dimensional wave basin. For regular waves, the control performances are investigated in terms of reflection coefficients, expected amplitudes of propagating waves and wave absorbing capabilities after cessation of wave generation, compared with those of no-control cases. For irregular waves similar verification procedures were adopted. Though there are certain constraints due to the geometrical non-linearity of wave maker and certain nonlinear characteristics due to the near field and gravity waves these experiments show that the control logic could be useful in realizing re-reflecting wave control in conditions of real wave basin.

한국형 고속전철 집전 시스템의 동적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Design of Current Collection System for the Korean High Speed Train)

  • The dynamic performance design of catenary-pantograph system which collects current for the next generation Korean high speed train(KHST) was considered. Used was the same dynamic model of the catenary-pantograph system as that of TGV-K which will be introduced for Kyung-bu corridor. Using the model , sensitivity analysis fer design variables were made to improve dynamic performance of KHST system. The results of sensitivity analysis and performance improvement are as follows: (1) It was found that aerodynamic force, tension of contact wire, mass of contact strip, mass of supporting contact strip, mass of clamp, mass of steady arm, and stiffness of plunger were the design variables most influencing the dynamic performance of the system. (2) Pantograph with reductions of 20% aerodynamic force, 34% weight of supporting contact strip, 20% spring constant of plunger, and 34% equivalent mass of steady arm was very possible system for the KHST which will be running at maximum operating speed 350 km/h.
