비례전자식 유량제어벨브의 해석에 관한 연구 (A study of electromagnetic proportional flow control valve)

  • In this study, it is analyzed that an electromagnet whose generating force is proportional to constant current through coil in its coperating range. To find arelation between magnetic force and the structure in electromagnet, computer simulation method is used by permeance modeling method. When the electromagnet is applied to flow control valve, the relation between input current and flow is found. In order to get a reliability of computer simluation, the simulation results are compared to the experimental result. As the simulation is processed repeatedlyl. it is found that the gap size between plunger and guide steel and the length of tapered brass ring are important factors in electromaget.

테스트 프로브 접점 위치와 구조의 신호 전달 특성 영향 (Effect of Contact Position and Structure of Test Probe on Its Signal Transmission Characteristics)

  • 본 논문은 테스트 프로브의 플런저 접점 위치와 구조에 따른 신호 전달 특성 변화를 분석하였다. 플런저 접점 위치는 실제 동작 상황을 고려하였으며, 플런저 내부 접점과 바렐 입구 접점으로 나누어 테스트 프로브의 고주파 성능 변화를 조사하였다. 또한 테스트 프로브는 더블, 싱글, 아웃스프링의 3 가지 구조로 나누고 구조 차이에 따른 신호 전달 특성 변화를 분석하였다. 고주파 전자기 해석 툴 HFSS를 사용하여 삽입손실과 반사손실을 계산하고, Q3D 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 테스트 프로브의 임피던스를 분석한다. 접점 위치에 따른 계산 결과, 바렐 입구 접점의 삽입손실이 플런저 내부 접점보다 감소하였다. 이를 통해 테스트 프로브의 접점 위치에 따라 테스트 프로브의 고주파 성능이 달라질 수 있음을 확인하였다. 구조에 따른 신호 전달 특성의 비교 분석에서는 아웃스프링 프로브가 보다 우수한 삽입손실과 반사손실 주파수 특성을 보여주었다. 테스트 프로브 구조별로 특성 임피던스를 계산하였으며 더블 프로브와 싱글 프로브는 $30.8{\Omega}$으로 동일한 결과를 보여주었다. 반면에 아웃스프링 프로브는 $47.1{\Omega}$의 결과가 나타났다. 아웃스프링 프로브의 특성 임피던스가 $50{\Omega}$에 보다 근접하여 높은 신호 전달 특성을 보인 것으로 분석된다. 아웃스프링 프로브가 높은 삽입손실과 반사손실 특성을 보여 고속 동작 제품의 성능 검사에 적합한 것으로 예상한다.

대형 2행정 디젤기관에 있어서 일체형 전자제어 축압분배 실린더 주유기 시스템의 주유 불균일률에 관한 연구 (A Study on Inequality Rate of Integrated Cylinder Lubricator System with an Accumulated Distribution by the Electronic Control in a Large Two-stroke Diesel Engine)

  • Minimizing the cylinder wear and the consumption rate of cylinder oil in a large two-stroke diesel engine is of great economic importance. A motor-driven cylinder lubricator for Sulzer RT-flex large two-stroke diesel engines developed by authors is in need of improving the lubricating system to lubricate cylinder parts optimally by an electronically controlled quill device according to changes of engine load and revolution speed. In order to apply the developed accumulating distributor to an integrated cylinder lubricator by the electronically controlled system as the third research stage, the lubricating system is improved in the electronically controlled quill device with a solenoid valve. In this study, the effects of lubricator revolution speed, driving pressure(or plunger stroke) and cylinder back pressure on oil feed rate and lubrication inequality rate are investigated by using the integrated cylinder lubricator system with an accumulated distribution by the electronic control(I.C.S.), and the oil feed rate and lubrication inequality rate of I.C.S. are compared with those of the motor-driven cylinder lubricator by the electronically controlled quill system equipped with an accumulating distributor(E.D.S.). It is found that the oil feed rate of I.C.S. is smaller than that of E.D.S. due to the reduction of delivery velocity by the higher delivery pressure, and the variances of lubrication inequality rate for I.C.S. have become smaller than those of E.D.S. as the driving pressure in all experimental conditions increases, except for the driving pressure of 26 bar(plunger stroke 2 mm) at the cylinder lubricator speed of 120 rpm.

  • This paper presents an analysis of the permanent magnet overhang effect for the permanent magnetic actuator. Generally, the overhang is often used to increase the force density in permanent magnet machineries. The overhang is particularly profitable in reducing the volume after increasing the force density per volume when using the overhang effect of the permanent magnet. Therefore, the 3D Equivalent Magnetic Circuit Network Method (3D EMCN) has been used in this paper. According to the plunger position, the flux distribution per overhang length and the holding force are quantitatively compared. Furthermore, an appropriate length of the overhang has been proposed. To confirm the accuracy of the analysis method, the results of 2D FEM and 3D FEM are compared for the basic model.

  • The compleete joining method for dissimilar hot die punch materials and its real-time evaluation method are not available at present. Brazing method has been used for joining them, but it is known that the welded joint by the brazing has the lower bonding efficiency and reliability than the diffusion welding. The friction wleding with a diffusion mechanism in bonding was applied in this study. So, this work was carried out to determine the optimal friction welding conditions and to analyze mechanical properties of friction welded joints of hot die punch materials (STD61 for the blade part of hot die punch) to alloy steel (SCM440 for the shank park of hot die punch) such as plunger. In addition, acoustic emission test was carried out during friction welding to evaluate the weld quality.

3.9 리터 기계식 디젤 엔진을 이용한 DME 엔진 개발 연구 (Development of DME Engine Using 3.9 Liter Diesel Engine with Mechanical Type Fuel System)

  • The 3.9 liter diesel engine with a mechanical fuel injection system was converted to di-methyl ether (DME) engine and performance optimized. In order to switch to the DME engine, the plunger of the high pressure fuel pump was replaced and the diameter of the injector nozzle was increased. Through this, the disadvantage of DME having low calorific value per volume can be compensated. To optimize the performance, the number of injector nozzle holes, injector opening pressure, and fuel injection timing were changed. As a result, the optimum number of injector nozzle holes was 5, the injector opening pressure was from 15 MPa to 18 MPa, and the injection timing was 15 crank angle degree before top dead center (CAD BTDC). The power was at the same level as the base diesel engine and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions could be reduced.

열간공구강 DH32 소재의 열간단조품 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Hot Forged Component of Hot Tool Steel DH32)

  • Hot tool steel, in general, has not been used as a material in hot forging. However such a hot tool steel is recently applied to forging materials by recent forging technology. DH32 is known as a kind of hot tool steels, which is developed for characteristics of excellent strength and toughness in high temperature. Feasibility of DH32 to hot forging material has been researched to develop the hot forging technology of a plunger used for a large-sized marine fuel pump. Hot compression experimental works were performed to investigate the hot strain characteristic of DH32 and with the experimental results FE simulations were also conducted for the design of forging processes and preform. It is found out through the hot compression experimental works that DH32 has a hot brittleness at more than $1150^{\circ}C$.

피에조를 이용한 초소형 단일 솔더볼 연결부의 전단 시험장치 개발 (Development of a Shear Testing Machine for a Miniature Single Solder Ball Joint using Piezoelectric Loading Device)

  • A miniature shear testing machine was designed and developed, adopting a piezoelectric actuator with mechanical advantage using 4 levers in order to investigate shear behavior of a small solder ball. The final output displacement was initially expected to be 2.88 mm without load resistance, considering the lever ratio of 24 and the piezo displacement of 0.12 mm with an exciting voltage of 10 V. However, the final plunger displacement ${\Delta}{\upsilon}$ can be expected as ${\Delta}{\upsilon}=2.88-3.04{\times}10^{-4}F$ as a function of piezoelectric force F due to the stiffness of various levers and connectors and piezo actuator. The shear behavior of lead-free solder ball in diameter of $760{\mu}m$ was successfully investigated in a speed range of 2 mm/s~0.0035 mm/s using this designed device.

온도 영역에 대한 선형 액추에이터의 실험적 고찰과 유한차분 방정식 (An Experimental Approach to the Linear Actuator with a Finite Difference Equation on the Temperature Domain)

  • 본 논문에서는 선형 액추에이터의 권선부에 구형파 전압을 인가시 권선부의 표면에 나타나는 온도의 변화에 대해서 고찰하였다. 또한 테일러급수로부터 구할 수 있는 유한차분 방정식을 유도하였고, 이를 바탕으로 직선형 피스톤 액추에이터의 권선에서 일어나는 온도 변화에 대한결과를 고찰하였다. 그 결과 액추에이터 표면의 온도가 주위온도에 비해 시간에 따라 증가하는 에너지 표출 현상을 확인하였으며 이를 바탕으로 선형 액추에이터의 동작시 온도 특성을 실제 시스템에 고려하여 적용할 수 있는 실험적 자료를 도출할 수 있었다. 이에 관한 결과는 액추에이터 뿐만 아니라 권선을 사용하는 전동기나 변압기와 같은 전기기기와 전자기력을 이용하는 분야에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 사료되며, 앞으로는 여러 조건 하에서 권선의 내부와 외부에서 일어나는 온도 및 동작 특성의 정밀한 해석 결과를 구하기 위해 좀더 구체적인 계산 방범과 개선이 필요하다.

사판식 피스톤 모터의 트라이포드 기구의 거동 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Behavior of Tripod Mechanism in Swashplate Type Piston Motor)

  • A swashplate type piston motor with a tripod joints is introduced to improve compactness and starting torque in conventional types of motor. If the driving torque of motor shaft is transmitted by utilizing the mechanism, its friction torque loss would be drastically reduced and mechanical efficiency would be improved because the lateral force on the piston of the rod type motor with tripod joints mechanism is relatively smaller than that of the conventional plunger type motor. In particular, kinematics analysis for the mechanism are done as a preliminary study to investigate the feasibility of the mechanism in the axial piston motor. General formulas are derived from the displacement and velocity analysis of the mechanism, showing relationships between output shaft and shoe holder motion. A series of numerical calculations are carried out for a medium size motor with 160cc/rev using the formulas and their graphical plots are shown as well.
