  • This study aims at developing the high speed/intelligent machining system using the plug/play method of an open architecture controller. The plug/play technology by the application Specific Function (ASF), can readily implement the open architecture controller into various machining system or other automatic devices. The plug/play method integrates the ASF, visual builder, controller OS technology. This study, as an example, presents a schematic diagram for integration of an open architecture CNC and individual component technology for the high speed/intelligent machining system.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 센서 디바이스 Plug & Play (Sensor Device Plug & Play for Ubiquitous Computing)

  • When mounting the sensor device in the way of Plug&Play, sensor device drivers need to be loaded and linked dynamically. Since a sensor node platform is based on small 8 bit MCU, dynamic loading and linking technique used in Windows and Linux can not be applied. In this paper, we present how to link and load dynamically sensor device drivers for sensor device Plug&Play. We implement a prototype and evaluate it to make sure that there is no performance degradation like sensor device driver connection speed and memory usage. Connection speed overhead increases to 0.2ms. Memory usage overhead increases to hundreds byte. It shows that there is no heavy influence in running the actual program.

유격을 고려한 노즈 랜딩기어의 비선형 쉬미 해석 (Non-linear Shimmy Analysis of a Nose Landing Gear with Free-play)

  • 본 논문에서는 유격을 고려한 항공기 전방 착륙 장치의 쉬미 현상을 연구하였다. 쉬미는 항공기의 이착륙 시 랜딩기어가 주행도중 측방향과 조향방향으로 진동에 놓이는 현상이다. 이 현상은 스트럿의 낮은 강성, 랜딩기어 내부의 마찰과 유격, 휠의 불균형이나 마모된 부품 등으로 인해 발생하며, 항공기의 안정성을 저하시킨다. 유격은 비선형 요소이기 때문에 기술 함수로 선형화 하여 주파수 영역에서 안정성해석을 수행하였고, 4차 Runge - Kutta를 이용하여 시간영역에서 안정성해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 수치적인 해석법을 통해 쉬미현상의 선형 동특성과 비선형 동특성을 조사하였다. 유격을 고려한 비선형 수치 해석결과, 선형 임계속도보다 낮은 속도에서 제한주기진동이 발생하는 등, 유격으로 인해 쉬미 안정성이 저감되는 결과를 관찰하였다.

  • An image data compression method for a digital VCR must satisfy special requirements such as high speed playback. various edting capabilities and error concealment to provide immunity to tape dropouts. Taking these requirements requirements into consideration, this paper proposes a new interframe subband coding algorithm for a digital VCR. In the proposed method, continuous input images are fist partitioned into four frequency bands. The lowest frequency subband is coded with 3-D block adaptive quantization that removes the level redundancy within each level. The other higher frequency subbands are coded by an intraframe coding method using the property of the human visual system. To keep reasonable image quality in high speed palyback, a segment forming method in the frequency domaing is also proposed Computer simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has the potential of achieving virtually lossless compression in normal play and produces an image with less mosaic errors in high speed play.

  • This study aims at developing the high speed/intelligent machining system suing the plug/play method of an open architecture controller. The plug/play technology by the Application Specific Function (ASF), can readily implement the open architecture controller into various machining system or other automatic equipments. For the open architecture controller, this study developed the open HMI, screen editor, ASF, visual builder, and controller OS technology as software components. On the other hand, we developed the I/O module and main board as control hardware system. This study, as an example, presents integration of individual component technologies for the plug/play type open architecture CNC system.

  • Under the condition of variable density and specific heat, maximum pressure, maximum temperature, bearing load, friction and side leakage in high-speed journal bearing operation are examined within some degree of Journal misalignment. The results are compared with the calculation results under the conditions of constant density and specific heat, and variable density and constant specific heat. It is found that the condition of variable density and specific heat play important roles in determining friction and load of Journal bearing at high speed operation.

  • Speed-run is a gameplay style in what the player tries to finish the game as quickly as possible. The purpose of this study is to observe and analyze the difference between a normal player and a speed runner in a speed run to better understand their interaction with the game and to extrapolate the applications of the analyzed frameworks to scenarios that extent normal gameplay. For this purpose, MDA (Mechanic, Dynamic, Aesthetics) and DPE (Experience, Design, Play) were used. As a result, the average player was found to focus on aesthetics or affects while the speed runner focused on mechanics and gameplay.

속도저감형 시설이 차량 주행 속도에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effects on the Vehicle Running Speed Analysis according to the Speed Reduction Road Facilities)

  • It has been applied several ways in order to prevent traffic accidents and speed management on the road which is one of very important factors to prevent accidents. In this study, it is analyzed whether the facility such as the flashing and crosswalk, speed cameras and intermittent warning signs affect on a driving deceleration or not. It has been shown that the flashing and crosswalk and speed cameras except intermittent warning signs play a role of reducing the driving speed. The result showed that these traffic safety facilities help to improve the average speed as well as velocity distribution which was derived by the speed deviation even if there were the difference between facilities. Speed limit display does not affect the deceleration of the driver. Therefore, it was founded in this research that there were the driving speed reduction effect due to the facilities on the road. In order to control the driving speed on the road, it is necessary to install facilities with appropriate location and spacing on the road. In addition, place that turns out suppressed speeding through speed management also are required adequate facilities such as speed cameras.

유동 섭동에 의한 난류예혼합화염의 열발생 모델에 관한 연구 (A Heat Release Model of Turbulent Premixed Flame Response to Acoustic Perturbations)

  • The unsteady heat release characteristics play a significant role in combustion instabilities observed in low emissions gas turbine combustors. Such combustion instabilities are often caused by coupling mechanisms between unsteady heat release rates and acoustic perturbations. A generalized model of the turbulent flame response to acoustic perturbations is analytically formulated by considering a distributed heat release along a curved mean flame front and using the flame's kinematic model that incorporates the turbulent flame development. The effects of the development of flame speed on the flame transfer functions are examined by calculating the transfer functions with a constant or developing flame speed. The flame transfer function due to velocity fluctuation shows that, when a developing flame speed is used, the transfer function magnitude decreases faster with Strouhal number than the results with a constant flame speed at low Strouhal numbers. The flame transfer function due to mixture ratio fluctuation, however, exhibits the opposite results: the transfer function magnitude with a developing flame speed increases faster than that with a constant flame speed at low Strouhal numbers. Oscillatory behaviors of both transfer function magnitudes are shown to be damped when a developing flame speed is used. Both transfer functions also show similar behaviors in the phase characteristics: The phases of both transfer functions with a developing flame speed increase more rapidly than those with a constant flame speed.
