플랫폼 토크 명령에 의한 자세오차 미분방정식 유도 (Derivation of Attitude Error Differential Equations by Platform Torque Commands)

  • This paper presents new attitude error differential equations to define attitude errors as the rotation vector for inertial navigation systems. Attitude errors are defined with the rotation vector between the reference coordinate frame and the platform coordinate frame, and Platform dynamics to the reference coordinate frame due to platform torque command errors are defined. Using these concepts for attitude error definition and platform dynamics, we have derived attitude error differential equations expressed in original nonlinear form for GINS and SDINS and showed that these are equivalent to attitude error differential equations expressed in known linear form. The relation between attitude errors defined by the rotation vector and attitude errors defined by quaternion is clearly presented as well.

  • IoT(Internet of Things) 상용화에 따라 무선 통신이 가능한 하드웨어 구조 개발의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 디바이스 간 연동이 가능한 Smart Frame System이 내장된 SoC(System on a Chip) 플랫폼 하드웨어 구조를 제안한다. 기존 디지털 액자에 무선통신 기능과 실시간 처리가 가능한 하드웨어 구조를 적용하였고, Bluetooth를 이용하여 제어할 수 있는 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 제안하는 SoC 플랫폼의 하드웨어 구조는 CIS(CMOS Image Sensor) Controller 모듈, Memory Controller 모듈, 확대, 축소, 회전 등의 다양한 영상처리를 위한 ISP(Image Signal Processing) 모듈, 디바이스 간 통신을 위한 Bluetooth Interface, 영상 출력을 위한 VGA Controller 모듈, TFT-LCD Controller 모듈로 구성된다. IoT 서비스를 지원하는 Smart Frame System은 Virtex4 XC4VLX80 FPGA 디바이스가 장착된 HBE-SoC-IPD 테스트 보드를 사용하여 구현 및 검증하였으며, 동작 주파수는 54MHz이다.

A Theoretical Study on Free Gyroscopic Compass

  • The authors aim to establish the theory necessary for developing the free gyroscopic compass and focus on mainly two points. One is to suggest north-finding principle by the angular velocity of the earth's rotation, and the other is to suggest orthogonal coordinate transformations of the motion rate of the spin axis, which transforms the components of motion rate in the free gyro frame into those in the platform frame and that this transformed rate is, in turn, transformed into the NED(north-east-down) navigation frame. Subsequently, ship's heading is obtained by using the fore-aft and athwartship components of the motion rate of the spin axis in the NED frame. In addition it was found how to solve the transformation matrix necessary for transforming each frame.

  • The authors aim to establish the theory necessary for developing free gyro positioning system and focus on measuring the nadir angle by using the motion rate of a free gyro. The azimuth of a gyro vector from the North can be given by using the property of the free gyro. The motion rate of the spin axis in the gyro frame is transformed into the platform frame and again into the NED (north-east-down) navigation frame. The nadir angle of a gyro vector is obtained by using the North components of the motion rate of the spin axis in the NED frame. The component has to be transformed into the horizontal component of the gyro by using the azimuth of the gyro vector and then has to be integrated over the sampling interval.

복합굴절차의 하부 프레임에 대한 구조해석 (Structural Analysis of the Lower Frame in the Multi-aerial Platform)

  • 본 연구에서는 복합굴절차의 강도 해석을 통한 구조적 안정성을 평가하고자 한다. 3D CAD 데이터, 사용 재질에 대한 물성값, 하중 조건 및 경계조건을 바탕으로, 범용 구조 해석 프로그램인 Nastran을 활용하여 복합굴절차에 대한 정적 구조 해석을 실시하였다. 하부 프레임(Sub frame, Out-trigger, Chassis frame)에 대한 구조해석을 수행하기 위해, 각 Out-trigger가 최대 하중을 받는 4가지 경우를 산정하였다. 이러한 해석된 결과를 통하여 국부적으로 강도가 부족한 위치를 특정지어, 보다 안전한 설계에 도움이 되도록 하였다.

Pedagogical Mathematica Platform Visualizing the Coriolis Effects in 3-Cell Atmospheric Circulation Model

  • The atmospheric flow in the 3-Cell model of global atmosphere circulation is described by the Lagrange's equation of the non-inertial frame where pressure force, frictional force and fictitious force are mixed in complex form. The Coriolis force is an important factor which requires calculation of fictitious force effects on atmospheric flow viewed from the rotating Earth. We make new Mathematica platform to solve Lagrange's equation by numerical analysis in order to analyze dynamics of atmospheric general circulation in the non-inertial frame. It can simulate atmospheric circulation process anywhere on the earth. It is expected that this pedagogical platform can be utilized to help students studying the atmospheric flow understand the mechanisms of atmospheric global circulation.

  • The goal of this study is to investigate structural analysis and behaviors of an innovative aerial work platform truss frame whose ductility is improved by using high strength-steel UL-700. The present space truss frame can move or stop through tunnels for maintenance constructions by automatic facilities and workmanship within standardized limited building lines of tunnel. Most of all, this method overcomes problematic, which is to block cars during construction periods, seriously, of typical methods like as using truck and scaffolds for tunnel maintenance. According to evaluated appropriate design results of space truss frames of numerical examples by using a commercial MIDAS GEN program, it is verified that design parameters such as layered size, cross-sectional size, and steel material of the present space truss frame are determined to depend on characteristics such as lanes or shape of road tunnels.

평형식진동탄환암거천공기의 연구(II) -모수실험 : 진동에 대하여- (A Study on Balanced-Type Oscillating Mole Drainer (II) (Model Test For Vibration))

  • 1. When the frame of the experimental apparatus was directly fixed on the platform, result from the spectrum density analysis showed that the generated vibration frequecy of the system was nearly-same as the system's own characteristic vibration frequency, 80Hz, in the case of the forcing vibration frequency was 7.5 to 22.5Hz. The reduction ratio of acceleration by balanced type model compare to non-balanced type one was 26.66 percent. 2. When the frame of experimental apparatus was fixed on the platform with putting a shock absorbing rubber between the frame and the platform, the generated vibration frequency of the system was same as forcing vibration frequency. When either frequency or the amplitude of the forcing vibration was increased, the acceleration ratio was increased too. The average reduction ratio was resulted 44.77 per cent. It was concluded that this method of acceleration measurement(the method using a shock absorbing rubber) was a reaonable method, because actual machine will work under such condition. As the vibration frequency and aptitude were increased, the absolute magnitude of acceleration was increased. 3. unbalanced rotating parts, and unbalanced moment of inertia of links were supposed to be causing factors of residual vibration in spite of using the balanced type oscillating mole drainer. This fact suggested that the attachment of the counter weight on the rotating parts which satisfy the condition mw$.$rw=m0e, was necessary. And also, it was expected that the shock absorbing effect could be improved by putting the shock absorbing materials between the moving parts and their supports.
