  • This paper compares and analyzes the domestic OTT services to access their success factors, strategies and examine the domestic OTT leader's wavve's unique differentiation strategy. It is a comparative study of the top five market share services based on the operator and content's key success factors criteria, revenue structure, personalization, interactive media and cooperation. As a result, the common success factors were contents that reflected the characteristics of the operators, hybrid VOD, hybrid filtering, real-time participation interaction, alliances between the same and heterogeneous industries, and utilization of existing business areas. In addition, the study confirmed that it expanded the scope of the project and operated the contents efficiently by introducing one or more business strategies. wavve has been widely validated with its content, while B2C has long-term benefits and overseas use services, and B2B has a systematic use system, differentiating itself from other services. This paper can be the foundation for identifying the strengths and differences of each service on 2021, entering the domestic OTT industry, and establishing competitive strategies.

  • Petri dishes and glass slides have been widely used as general substrates for in vitro mammalian cell cultures due to their culture viability, optical transparency, experimental convenience, and relatively low cost. Despite the aforementioned benefit, however, the flat two-dimensional substrates exhibit limited capability in terms of realistically mimicking cellular polarization, intercellular interaction, and differentiation in the non-physiological culture environment. Here, we report a protocol of culturing embryonic rat hippocampal neurons on the electro-spun polymeric network and the results from examination of neuronal cell behavior and network formation on this culture platform. A combinatorial method of laser-scanning confocal fluorescence microscopy and live-cell imaging technique was employed to track axonal outgrowth and synaptic connectivity of the neuronal cells deposited on this model culture environment. The present microfiber-based scaffold supports the prolonged viability of three-dimensionally-formed neuronal networks and their microscopic geometric parameters (i.e., microfiber diameter) strongly influence the axonal outgrowth and synaptic connection pattern. These results implies that electro-spun fiber scaffolds with fine control over surface chemistry and nano/microscopic geometry may be used as an economic and general platform for three-dimensional mammalian culture systems, particularly, neuronal lineage and other network forming cell lines.

  • Interleukin-4 (IL-4) and IL-13 are cytokines secreted by immune cells. Cytokines induce the proliferation of macrophages or promote the differentiation of secretory cells. The initiation and progression of allergic inflammatory diseases, such as asthma, are dependent on cytokines acting through related receptor complexes. IL-4 and IL-13 are N-glycoproteins. Glycan structures in glycoproteins play important roles in protein folding, protein stability, enzymatic function, inflammation, and cancer development. Therefore, the glycan structure of IL-4 and IL-13 needs to be elucidated in detail for the development of effective therapies. We report the first attempt to characterize the site-specific N-glycosylation of recombinant IL-4 and IL-13 via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis. The tandem mass spectra of intact N-glycopeptides were identified using the Integrated GlycoProteome Analyzer (I-GPA) platform, which can automatically and rapidly analyze multiple N-glycopeptides, including their glycan composition and amino acid sequences. The recombinant IL-4 and IL-13 were identified with amino acid sequence coverages of 84% and 96%, respectively. For IL-4, 52 glycoforms on one N-glycosylation site were identified and quantified. In IL-13, 232 N-glycopeptides from three N-glycosylation sites were characterized, with the site Asn52 being the most extensively glycosylated (~80%). The complex glycans were the most abundant glycan on IL-4 and IL-13 (~96% and 91%, respectively), and the biantennary glycans were the most abundant in both recombinant IL-4 and IL-13 proteins.

  • Recently, technological differentiation(sensor, AI) of products using IoT technology to satisfy consumer needs in the mature market for smart home appliances has received a lot of positive responses. However, air conditioner products are in the early stages of convergence technology. Therefore, air conditioner products are fields that require ICT technologies for information production, collection, processing, storage, and service development beyond IoT. In this paper, we collect and store contactless bio-signal using IR-UWB radar technology. The blowing direction of the air conditioning is controlled according to bio-signal and user's sleep is monitored to provide an optimal sleep environment. In addition, we propose a service algorithm that can provide comfort with changes in the optimal conditions of air conditioning and emotional lighting depending on the discomfort index environment. Through this study, we developed an intelligent smart air conditioning service platform with ICT technology of bio-signal, discomfort index, and emotional lighting.

  • Development, availability and users' participation in the information service of agricultural food sector is slower than that of other sectors in Korea. This phenomenon comes from the lack of development strategies and comparative analyses with other sectors, as well as the agricultural food industry's own characteristics which is developed based on the offline market. In this research, we will discuss about how to improve the public information service of agricultural food sector based on the example of establishing service improvement strategy by the most representative Okdab. In this research, we have drawn the following implications for development strategy of Okdab service based on three core keywords derived from benchmarking KOSIS. Three core subjects for upgrading public information service are 'analysis information with expertise and differentiation,' 'user cooperation-oriented platform,' and 'intuitive nd effective UX,' and to strength B.I. as an integrated information service of agricultural food sector, we need to identify the users' satisfaction and needs for the existing service, establish an optimized operating strategy on a short-term, mid-term and long term bases, and implement them in a positive way. Based on this positive action, it can become a trustworthy information service for the users, and we can expect the improvement of the users' recognition for its consistent usability and efficiency.

  • Tissue engineering has been extensively investigated and proffered to be a potential platform for novel tissue regeneration. The utilization of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from various sources has been widely explored and compared. In this regard, MSCs derived from bone marrow have been proposed and described as a promising cell resource due to their high yield of isolated cells with colony-forming potential, self-renewal capacity, MSC surface marker expression, and multi-lineage differentiation capacities in vitro. However, there is evidence for bone marrow MSCs (BM-MSCs) both in vitro and in vivo from different species presenting identical and distinct potential stemness characteristics. In this review, the fundamental knowledge of the growth kinetics and stemness properties of BM-MSCs in different animal species and humans are compared and summarized. Finally, to provide a full perspective, this review will procure results of current information studies focusing on the use of BM-MSCs in clinical practice.

  • This study analyzed the current operational status, business continuity, and business continuity strategies of 11 Soho fashion shopping malls through a longitudinal case study (2019/2020 and 2022/2023). The aim was to determine how Soho fashion shopping malls are continuing their business having been successfully established in the fiercely competitive current online fashion market. Regarding changes in shopping mall operation status, all cases displayed changes in items, distribution channels, marketing channels, core values, and profit structures. After establishing the businesses, a crisis arose due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to difficulties in creating new customers. Moreover, there was excessive business expansion, resulting in saturation of the online platform store market. This meant companies were experiencing reduced sales (5) or difficulties in maintaining their business (3). However, there were differences in the direction of overcoming the crisis and continuing or converting the business. These revealed that to continue the business after successful establishment of an online fashion shopping mall, it is essential to have the expertise of entrepreneurs, work performance, and marketing ability, as well as differentiation capabilities such as product power and management strategy and core competitiveness that provides a relative advantage over other shopping malls. Customized government support at the level of the start-up ecosystem is also essential for the survival and business continuity of a SOHO online fashion shopping mall with poor human and material resources.

  • This study evaluates the efficacy of a decellularized intestine tissue-derived extracellular matrix (Intestine ECM) as a scaffold for culturing colorectal cancer (CRC) organoids and establishing cell-derived xenograft (CDX) models, comparing its performance to traditional Matrigel. Intestine ECM demonstrates comparable support for organoid formation and cellular function, highlighting its potential as a more physiologically relevant and reproducible platform. Our findings suggest that Intestine ECM enhances the mimetic environment for colon epithelium, supporting comparable growth and improved differentiation compared to Matrigel. Moreover, when used as a delivery carrier, Intestine ECM significantly increases the growth rate of CDX models using patient-derived primary colorectal cancer cells. This enhancement demonstrates Intestine ECM's role not only as a scaffold but also as a vital component of the tumor microenvironment, facilitating more robust tumorigenesis. These findings advocate for the broader application of Intestine ECM in cancer model systems, potentially leading to more accurate preclinical evaluations and the development of targeted cancer therapies.

  • The aim of the current study is to look at the mediating effects of structural features (i.e. decentralization, formalization, and specialization) on the relationship between product variety and the performance of product family. This study investigates the impact of decentralization and formalization for platform and derivative projects separately and in the context of the performance of the product family as a whole, as opposed to individual projects. In addition to relationships between people and groups, the current study considers physical element of an organization such as geographical location in which business tasks are conducted. The current study focuses on spatial differentiation which refers to the number of different sites or locations operated by an organization. Based on a cross-industry sample of 103 Korean manufacturers, this study examines the role of organizational structure features in which firms successfully increase product variety. The study examines that formalization in platform projects and decentralization in derivative projects enhance high variety firms' product family performance. The study finds significant mediating effect of spatial proximity on the relationship between product variety and product family performance.
