대형평판재하시험의 지중응력 측정결과를 이용한 연암의 변형계수 산정 (Estimation of deformation modulus for rock mass using stress distribution under ground in Large Plate Load Test)

  • The field plate test has a good potential for determining since it measures both plate pressure and settlement. The deformation modulus of rock mass is differently measured for status of structures. The values of deformation modulus are obtained from laboratory test (uniaxial and triaxial test) and field test (pressuremeter test). Plate load test should be conducted by different loading plate sizes for geological structure of rock mass and scale of structures. In this paper, large plate load tests were performed to predict of structure's behavior and evaluate the ultimate bearing capacity of the foundation on soft rock. Simultaneously, deformation modulus of rock mass was estimated by back analysis of stresses measured in field test under rock mass. Finally, we verified the validation of deformation modulus of rock mass through result of large plate load test and numerical simulation.

  • This study investigated the design factors of the opening area in order to consider the kinematic stability of a valve plate, conducting an analysis of the reduction effects of pressure pulsation and flow ripple depending on the design factors, using the $SimulationX^{(R)}$ (Germany) hydraulic analysis program. Further, we performed a structure analysis to confirm the kinematic stability of the valve plate in a swash plate type piston pump, and analyzed the effects of pulsation on a 1-step V-type notch, 2-step V-type notch, and 2-step U-type notch to determine the effects of pulsation reduction. Finally, we show the effectiveness of our proposed design of the pre-compression sections on a valve plate in terms of low pulsation by using the hydraulic analysis program, $SimulationX^{(R)}$.

발전소 수중방류구조 내 수평유공판 설치에 따른 거품발생 저감효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation on the Efficiency of Reducing Air Bubble Formation by Installing Horizontal Porous Plate in the Submerged Outlet Structure of Power Plant)

  • 이 연구에서는 보령화력발전소 방수로 수중방류구조에 대한 수리모형실험을 수행하여 수중방류구조 내 흐름 특성을 고찰하고, 수평 유공판 설치에 따른 거품저감 효과를 검토하였다. 수중방류구조 내 단면평균유속은 설계시 거품의 외해 유출 방지를 위해 고려한 목표값 1 m/s 이내에 분포하였다. 또한, 수중방류구조 내 2차 낙하 위치에 수평 유공판을 설치함에 따라 거품의 수중 최대관입깊이가 30~50% 감소함을 확인하였다. 특히, 2차 낙하 위치에 구멍의 크기가 20 cm 정도인 사각구멍형 유공판을 설치하고, 중앙부는 무공 구조로 제작하여 낙하 에너지를 소산시키게 될 경우, 가장 효과적으로 수중에 관입되는 거품 발생량을 저감시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

보강된 평판구조물의 음향방사특성에 관한 실험적 고찰 (Radiation characteristics on a stiffened plate structure)

  • It is very important to understand the vibration and noise characteristics of a structure to developed quiet machines and lessen their noise. In this paper, the vibration and sound radiation characteristics of a simple and a bar-stiffened plate have been investigated using numerical and experimental techniques. In numerical process, FEM analysis has been performed for the vibration level ; the time-space squared and averaged velocity and BEM analysis for sound radiation parameters ; sound power and radiation efficiency. In experimental process, FFT signal processing method has been used. While a power from an exiciter is applied to the structure by using a point contact, sound intensity and vibration level has been measured. Based on these two data, the radiation efficiency has been calculated. Results show that the radiation efficiency for the stiffened structure increases compared to the simple plate, due to the extra edges provided by the stiffener.

  • To Recently, the buckling is easy to happen a thin plate and High Tensile Steel is used at the structure so that it is wide. Especially, the buckling is becoming important design criteria in the ship structure to use especially the High Tensile Steel. Consequently, it is important that we grasp the conduct after the buckling behaviour accurately at the stability of the body of ship structure. In this study, examined closely about conduct and secondary buckling after initial buckling of thin plate structure which receive compressive load according to various kinds aspect ratio under simply supported condition that make by buckling formula in each payment in advance nile to place which is representative construction of hull. Analysis method is F.E.M by ANSYS and complicated nonlinear behaviour to analyze such as secondary buckling.

Hydroelastic Effects in Vibration of Plate and Ship Hull Structures Contacted with Fluid

  • The present study deals with the hydroelastic vibration analysis of structures in contact with fluid via coupled fluid-structure interaction (FSI) embedded with a finite element method (FEM) such that a structure displacement formulation is coupled with a fluid pressure-displacement formulation. For the preliminary study and validation of FEM based coupled FSI analysis, hydroelastic vibration characteristics of a rectangular plate in contact with fluid are first compared with the elastic vibration in terms of boundary condition and mode frequency. Numerical results from coupled FSI analysis have been shown to be rational and accurate, compared to energy method based theoretical solutions and experimental results. The effect of free surface on the vibration mode is numerically studied by changing the submerged depth of a rectangular plate. As a practical application, the hull structural vibration of 4,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) container ship is considered. Hydroelastic results of the ship hull structure are compared with those obtained from the elastic condition.

  • In order to improve discharge characteristics in AC PDP, we suggest FDFA (Facing Discharge Front plate Address Electrode) structure. By adopting both long facing discharge electrodes and address electrodes in front plate, the FDFA structure make it possible to gain a high luminance, low power consumption, and a high luminous efficiency.

  • Optimal design of disk shaped piezoelectric actuator and sensor mounted on the plate structure is studied for the control of noise radiated fro the structure. The sensor signal is returned to the actuator through negative gain. Finite element modelling is used for the plate structure and the disk shaped piezoelectric sensor and actuator. The objective function is the total radiated sound power and the design variables are the locations and sizes of the piezoelectric actuator and sensor. The optimal is performed at the resonance and the off resonance frequency and the results show good noise reduction.
