  • Mold Analysis is crucial factors in the design of injection molding process. Since the qualify of products depends on filing, shrinkage and etc, the procedure of prediction through analysis in the design of injection molding process is needed. In many cases, this kind of analysis makes it possible to predict pressure pattern which determines the condition of injection molding process. Crystallinity is the factor that determines the shrinkage of products. The studies showed the factors that had been related to the degree of crystallinity, which were mostly Weight Reduction, mold temperature and melt temperature. Therefore, the objective of this study is to see the differences of the degree of crystallinity depending on the positions of foamed plastics. The procedure of this study is as the following. First, Simulate the pressure gradient in mold cavity that can produces specimen by using Moldflow. Secondly, produce specimen and measure the degree or crystallinity of each part of specimen by using XRD. Lastly, identify the sensitivity of conventional plastic and foamed plastic on pressure gradient by comparing the simulation and the results of measurement.

서중환경에서 표면피복 양생재 종류변화가 콘크리트의 초기 온도이력 및 균열발생에 미치는 영향에 관한 현장적용성 평가 (Field Application to Evaluate the Effect of Various Surface Covered Curing Blankets on Temperature Profile and Crack Occurrence of the Concrete under Hot Weather Condition)

  • Concrete placed under hot weather condition suffers from larger slump loss, rapid moisture evaporation due to high air temperature. Proper measures for material, transportation and curing should be taken to prevent the quality deterioration of the concrete under hot weather condition. In Korea, Although the period of hot weather concrete in Korea occupies only 2 months, there are a lot of quality problems including plastic, drying shrinkage and cold joint. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to investigate and compare the temperature history and crack occurrence of the concrete, which was placed in the actual apartment house construction field under hot weather condition, in response to the application of surface covered curing blankets including PE film, single layer clear bubble sheet, white colored bubble sheet and aluminum metalized bubble sheet. Test results indicated that the application of white colored bubble sheet and aluminum metalized bubble sheet showed most favorable results in terms of reduction in temperature rise and crack occurrence as well as easiness in handling. But, due to light reflection by aluminum metalized bubble sheet, it is believed that white colored bubble sheet is preferable.

Chamotte-점토-골석계 및 랍석 첨가계 소결체의 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Characteristics of the Bodies composed of Chamotte-Plastic Clay-Talc and added Agalmatolite System)

  • In this study, we are observe to the sagger which is composed of cordierite-mullite system. And especialy, we investigated the characteristics of the body which composed of Chamotte-Kaolin-Plastic clay-Talc (or Clinochlore) system and Chamotte-Kaolin-Plastic clay-Agalmatolite-Talc (or Clinochlore) system. The obtained results are as follows. 1. Modulus of rupture and apparent porosity were improved by particle size of talc and clinochlore in order that -16 mesh, -6 mesh, 6-16 mesh. 2. When the body composed of talc, the modulus of rupture was increased as firing temperature was rising up but composed of clnochlore, it was reversed. 3. When added to the agalmatolite, firing shrinkage, modulus of rupture and apparent porosity were improved. 4. Mineral phases of samples fired at 125$0^{\circ}C$ above consist of cordierite, mullite and $\alpha$-cristobalite.

  • It is the real circumstance in the country that not only the data and special books but also people who have an expert knowledge are short of the field of the study about plastic wastes, so that to build the Database carrying out gathering info of that is the present question obviously. The business on recycling plastic, for some reason or other, is one of the best ways as called bright prospect industry to prevent environmental pollution and obtain economical outcome by using limited resources. Plastic wastes with construction industry especially using Polymer may have a good effect on the environment and human beings and have a fine view to produce functional and Eco-friendly concrete as well. In this study, Chemical resistance and Water Absorption test in Polymer concrete using bentonite as a shrinkage control agent was made an experiment by comparing with influence on concrete strength and used to offer some valuable data about Polymer concrete.

  • The production method of micro sacrificial plastic mold insert metal injection molding, namely ${\mu}-SPiMIM$ process has been proposed to solve specific problems involving the miniaturization of MIM. Two types of sacrificial plastic molds (SP-mold) with fine structures were used: 1) PMMA resist, 2) PMMA mold injected into Ni-electroform, which is a typical LIGA (${\underline{L}}ithographie-{\underline{G}}alvanoformung-{\underline{A}}bformung$) process. Stainless steel 316L feedstock was injection-molded into the SP-molds with multi-pillar structures. This study focused on the effects of metal particle size and processing conditions on the shrinkage, transcription and surface roughness of sintered parts.

불소-실리카 복합형 균열저감제가 첨가된 콘크리트의 재료 특성과 수축균열 저항성 (Material Properties and Shrinkage Crack Resistance of Concrete Produced with Fluorine-Silicate Hybrid Type Crack Reducing Agent)

  • 본 연구에서는 배합강도 30MPa로 설계된 25-30-18 규격의 콘크리트 배합에 불소화합물 및 실리카로 구성된 불소-실리카 복합형 균열저감제(FS)를 시멘트 중량을 기준으로 0.5% 간격으로 2.0%까지 첨가한 후 슬럼프 경시 변화, 공기량 경시 변화 및 블리딩 등의 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 재료특성을 평가하였다. 또한, 콘크리트 수화온도 변화에 미치는 영향과 소성수축 및 건조수축의 저항성에 미치는 효과를 파악하였다. FS가 첨가된 콘크리트의 재료특성에서 슬럼프 및 공기량 경시 변화는 무첨가 콘크리트에 비해 큰 차이가 없었으나 블리딩과 수화온도는 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 경화 전 후 소성수축 및 건조수축에 기인된 콘크리트의 수축균열 저항성이 FS를 $1.0{\sim}1.5%$의 첨가함으로써 크게 저감됨을 알 수 있었다.

LCD Monitor사출금형에 대한 연구 (A Study of the Injection Mould of LCD Monitor)

  • The injection-molded plastic parts have many surface defects: warpage, weldline, flowmark, zetting, scratching, shading and so on. As weldline was one of the major surface defects in the case of desktop monitor, warpage and surface shrinkage are the bigger problems of LCD monitor in the pursuit of light weight and thinner thickness of parts. Some measures to improve these defects were introduced in this paper. Based on these, the laboratory work to find out the optimum processing conditions and to get the best parts was repeated injection moulding try-out after reflecting these improvements. The defects of warpage and surface shrinkage was significantly improved after the improvements in the case of the 20.1 inch even if in the 15 and 17inch case the warpage size was a lttle over the allowed specification because of not taking the measure for parts design within the allowable limits from the required specification in the cause of cost down.

알루미늄 판의 용접변형해석 (Analysis of Weld-induced Deformation in Aluminum Plates)

  • A three-dimensional finite element model has been developed to simulate the MIG P/S welding process of two aluminum plates. The finite element calculations are performed using ANSYS finite element code, which takes into account the thermal and mechanical non-linear material properties. The results of finite element analysis compared with those of experiment to show its validity in view of distortions. Parametric studies are carried out on the validated model to assess the effects of various factors on the final residual distortion. Large deformations, temperature dependent material properties are included in the model. Finally, the formulas of fitting curves of angular distortion transverse shrinkage, and longitudinal shrinkage have been proposed.

CFRD 표면 차수벽 콘크리트의 기본 물성 및 균열 제어 특성에 관한 실험 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Basic Properties and the Control Properties of Crack for Face Slab Concrete in CFRD)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the optimum mix design of concrete to be placed at the face slab concrete in CFRD(Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam) for pumped storage power plants. The basic performance tests including compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, flexural strength and the control properties of crack including plastic shrinkage, drying shrinkage were conducted for concrete using fly ash and polypropylene fiber. From this study, the fly ash concrete represented the better results in the aspects of basic performance, control properties of crack and economy than ordinary portland cement concrete. Especially the concrete mix design containing 20% of fly ash is recommended to be applied in the construction of the face slab concrete in CFRD for pumped storage power plants.

다수캐비티 사출금형에서 충전 불균형이 성형 품질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Filling Imbalances on the Molding Quality in the Multy-Cavity Injection Mold)

  • The injection molding process is a predominant method for producing plastic parts. In order to maximize productivity and molding quality in a injection mold, it is important that each cavity in a multi-cavity injection mold is identical. This requires that cavity dimensions should be identical and delivery system of melt to each cavity have to be the same. Despite the geometrically balanced layout in multi-cavity injection mold more than 4 cavities, it has been observed that the filling in each cavity results in imbalances. Most of cases, this phenomenon of filling imbalances have a bad effect on dimension accuracy, warpage, molding appearance and strength of molding parts. In this study, experiment were conducted to investigate the effect of filling imbalances on the molding quality(surface gloss, shrinkage, tensile strength) in the multy-cavity injection mold.
