The terminology of data prefetching is introduced, which includes stride, repeat distance, stall, pending stall, prefetch degree, prefetch distance, and prefetch offset. The effectiveness of hardware data prefetching in reducing cache misses is shown by presenting a square matrix multiplication example. Thereafter the pitfalls of prefetching and possible solutions are discussed.

Recently, research in blockchain technology has grown in popularity. Most of these researches have pointed out designing and improving conceptual structures to create digital systems that are more secure, accessible, and effective. Although blockchain offers a wide range of advantages, it also has some pitfalls. This research aims to present an understanding of the properties of blockchain, the advantages, pitfalls, and applications based on blockchain technology. To achieve the goal of understanding blockchain technology concepts, a systematic literature review approach was introduced. 93 papers were chosen and reviewed in total. Therefore, this research provides a summary of recent studies that have been published in the field of blockchain. Moreover, we have created concept maps and tables that aid in a deep understanding of blockchain technology concepts and exhibit some of the blockchain applications. In blockchain-based applications, we focused on two areas, namely the Internet of Things (IoT) and healthcare.

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cytology is based on the cytopathologic findings of other body fluids. However, CSF's cytologic features are less familiar to physicians than are those of the other body fluid's cytology because of the small number of cases. The low overall diagnostic accuracy and the presence of false positivity still remain as problems. The incidence of lymphoreticular malignancies and metastatic carcinomas are rather higher than that of primary brain tumors. In this review, the characteristic cytologic findings of conventional CSF cytology are reviewed along with a brief note on the technical preparation and diagnostic pitfalls.

This paper reflects on the relationship between postcolonial criticism (PC) and Southeast Asian Studies. The emphasis is on the apparent premature retreat from PC as well as its unfulfilled promises and persistent pitfalls. I argue that it is premature to abandon PC because it remains relevant, even essential, in the context of the much ballyhooed age of "knowledge economy" or "information society." There is a need to take another look at its promises and to work towards fulfilling them, but at the same time be conscious of its persistent problems.

Purpose: The purpose of the present article is to help orthopedic surgeons better understand the function and performance of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, and also to help them perform the most proper surgical technique for reconstruction. Materials and methods: In this article, the specific technical aspects and pitfalls of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty were reviewed in depth. Additionally, the current issues relevant to the reverse total shoulder arthroplasty such as scapular notching and restoration of active external rotation were discussed. Results and conclusion: An understanding of the biomechanics of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and the technical details and pitfalls of its implantation are critical in order to provide the best functional outcome without increasing the risk of complications.
