Shortest Path Planning and Robust Control of Two-wheeled Mobile Robot (이륜구동로봇의 최단거리계획과 강인제어)

  • 본 논문은 Dijkstra 알고리즘에 기초한 최단거리 경로계획을 하며 이 경로를 추적하기 위한 슬라이딩 모드 제어를 제시한다. 슬라이딩 모드 제어기는 동적매개변수 불확실성과 입력외란이 존재 시에도 강인 점근적으로 계획된 경로를 추적하도록 한다. 더불어 작업장 내의 이동로봇의 위치를 USB 카메라에 의해 감지하며, Pin-hole 카메라모델로 하여 카메라에 의해 관측되는 작업장 내의 이륜구동로봇의 위치좌표를 결정하였으며, 이 위치를 정확히 감지하기 위해 Tsai법을 사용하여 카메라 보정한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 성능을 검증하기 위해 보였다.

Prediction of Fatigue Life for Hole-notched Weave CFRP Plate (평직 CFRP 홀 노치재의 피로 수명 예측)

  • Recently, CFRP composite is more and more used in the various fields because of a higher specific modulus, chemical property and so on. Most products using CFRP composite are manufactured by construction of components. Various components are joined with those by bolts and pins. Holes for bolts and pins decrease strength and fatigue life of components, because those act as notch in structures. In this paper, we experimentally evaluated the fatigue life of hole-notched and unnotched weave CFRP plate. Then, we compared the two results and proposed an equation for prediction of fatigue life.

A High Power SP3T MMIC Switch (고출력 SP3T MMIC 스위치)

  • The monolithic single-pole three-throw(SP3T) GaAs PIN diode switch circuit for the broadband and high power application was designed, fabricated and characterized. To improve the power handling capability, buffer layers of the diode employ both low temperature buffer and superlattice buffer. The diode show the breakdown voltage of 65V and turn-on voltage of 1.3V. The monolithic integrated switch employed microstrip lines and backside via holes for low-inductance signal grounding. The vertical epitaxial PIN structure demonstrated better microwave performance than planar type structures due to lower parasitics and higher quality intrinsic region. As the large signal characteristics of the fabricated SP3T MMIC switch, the insertion loss was measured less than 0.6dB and the isolation better than 50dB when the input power was increased from 8dBM to 32dBm at 14.5GHz.

Non-HF Type Etching Solution for Slimming of Flat Panel Display Glass (평판디스플레이용 유리의 박판화공정을 위한 비불산형 식각액)

  • The purpose of this research was to develop a flat panel display device's glass etchant which can replace hydrofluoric acid. The glass etchant was composed of 18~19% wt% of ammonium hydrogen fluoride, 24~25 wt% of sulfuric acid, 45~46 wt% of water, 4~5 wt% of sulfate and 7~8 wt% of fluoro-silicate. By replenishing the etchant which has the amount of 5% of initial solution's mass, it was possible to reuse the etchant continuously. The developed etchant showed $5{\mu}m/min$ of etching rate at $30^{\circ}C$. The reusable etchant, with replenishing 5% of initial etchant mass showed the stable etching rate, which has the deviation of less than $0.1{\mu}m/min$ etching rate. The glass surface of flat panel display device created from our etching process was in good condition with any defects such as pin hole and dimple.

  • Coating films of $SiO_2-TiO_2-AgO$ have been prepared on soda-lime-silica slide glasses and single crystal silicon wafer by the sol-gel method using a spin-coating technique. Commercially available tetraethyl orthosilicate, titanium trichloride, and silver-nitrates were used as starting materials. The heat treatment temperature of this coating films was $500^{\circ}C$ properly, obtained from TG-DTA result. The films with thickness of 310 nm were prepared by 5 times coating. In the case of l0 mol% AgO, the film showed a crack-free and smooth surface, but the higher Ago content exhibited the more pin hole and the segregated cluster of AgO. The IR absorbance of the films decreased in the range of 400 nm to 700 nm with the increase of annealing temperature. And the reflectance of the coating films decreased and the color was changed light yellow to white yellow with the increase of Ago content.

  • For a reconstruct draft of the Gyupyo (Gnomon) in King Sejong Era, we collected a lot of documents of the Chosen Dynasty. With the result we made a reduced model by 1/10 and drawing set for the Gnomon in Sejong Era. It is composed of the Gyu, Yongpyo, Hoengryang (a beam), Yeongbu and granitic prop. You can read the scale where the shadow of vertically-standing stick touches the horizontal Gyu. A Shadow-Define. (Yeongbu) was used to focus the shadow cast by the sun's center, measuring the (gnomon) shadow length precisely. A Yeongbu is made of a leaf of copper in the middle of which is pierced a pin-hole for the tiny optical image of the sun which tilted to face the incident sunlight, used the principle of the a pin-hole camera and Scheimplug principle.

A Study on DeNOx Characteristics of Corona/Catalyst Hybrid System (코로나/촉매 일체형 시스템의 탈질특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the reaction characteristics of corona/catalyst hybrid $DeNO_x$ process. The experiments were performed by using the multi-staged pin-to-hole type corona reactor which is enable to control the pin-to-hole gap and to insert the catalyst. Also, used for this study, were catalysts which commercially used Pt, Pd and $TiO_2$, and oxygen and hydrocarbon ($C_2H_4$) as reagents. In the syn-gas test, at high temperatures in the range of $100{\sim}200^{\circ}C$, the corona-only $DeNO_x$ process did not reduce the $NO_x$ concentration effectively. However in the presence of ethylene and oxygen as reagents, the $NO_x$ removal efficiency was better at these high temperatures than corona-only $DeNO_x$ process. In addition, coronal catalyst hybrid process with $TiO_2$ showed more efficiency of $NO_x$ removal than Pt and Pd catalyst, because the $TiO_2$ catalyst was more active than Pt and Pd catalyst to converse the $NO_2$ to $HNO_3$. Furthermore, at the condition of real diesel exhaust gas, the $DeNO_x$ efficiency of corona/catalyst hybrid process was not good at higher reaction temperature and plasma density.

Super Multi-view Display Method using Pin-hole Array (핀홀어레이를 이용한 슈퍼 멀티-뷰 3D 디스플레이)

  • In this paper a Super Multi-view display method using a pinhole array with full parallax was proposed. The proposed method was simulated and its parameters analyzed. Also, the distribution and irradiance of light through each pinhole on the retina receiver, according to the change of crystalline lens focal length, were found by simulation. As a result, an image free of blurring was obtained while the crystalline lens focused on the depth plane of the three-dimensional image created by the imaging lens.

  • The exhaustion of fossil fuels and serious environmental pollution put the concern about non-po llution energy into the world. On the developments of technology, wind energy has been spotlighted as a non-pollution energy in many countries. This study has carried out the aerodynamic and structural design procedure of the lightweight composite rotor blades with an appropriate aerodynamic performance and structural strength for the 500㎾ medium class wind turbine system. The previous design, which is shell-spar structure, is redesigned to shell-spar- sandwich structure for light weight. Large deformation problem from light weight is examined by non-linear analysis. Local buckling occurred under lower stress than failure stress. The buckling analysis is accomplished to confirm the safety of the composite blade. The stress analysis around pin hole joint part at hub is carried out and it is confirmed that the pin hole is not failed. The results show that the resonance of redesigned blade does not happen in operation range.

Hole Identification Method Based on Template Matching for the Ear-Pins Insertion Automation System (이어핀 삽입 자동화 시스템을 위한 템플릿 매칭 기반 삽입 위치 판별 방법)

  • In jewelry industry, the proportion of labor costs is high. Also, the production time and quality of products are highly varied depending on the workers' capabilities. Therefore, there is a demand from the jewelry industry for automation. The ear pin insertion automation system is the robot automatically inserts the ear pins into the silicone mold, and this automated system require accurate and fast hole detection method. In this paper, we propose optimal binarization method and a template matching method that can be applied in the ear pin insertion automation system. Through the performance test, it was shown that the applied method has an accuracy of 98.5% and 0.5 seconds faster processing speed than the Otsu binarization method. So, this automation system can contribute to cost reduction, work time reduction, and productivity improvement.
