From May 1 to May 25 in 1997, data were collected from the mothers of children attending five day care centers and kindergartens located in Seoul, which had been selected for the study. The tools used for the study, which were developed by the researchers, surveyed the type of burns suffered by children, mothers' knowledge of burns and attitudes toward burn accidents. The data were analyzed through real numbers percentages and analysis was done using SPSS computer programs. The results of the study show that the most frequent type of burn accidents were those caused by hot water(55.4%) and these were frequently related to everyday habits that easily lead to danger. Further, the first aid treatment following a burn was weak. The majority of the mothers had not instructed their children on who to contact in the case of a fire, first aid for burns, or how to take escape in the case of a fire. This left the children in a defenseless position in case of a fire. The mothers showed a lack knowledge, on what to do when a blaze is discovered, how to put out a fire, first aid for burns, escaping from a fire and appropriate water temperature, in that 50% of the time they answered incorrectly. From this study a prevention program, HIPP (Home Injury Prevention Program) could be developed that includes fire prevention habits and first aid for burns. This program can be used with kindergarten and elementary school children for group education on fire prevention and can be used as a foundation for construction of a system of facilities and equipment to prevent fires and also prevent injury from fires.

Finally, 220 questionnaires were analyzed by t-test One way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and etc. The results of the study are as follows. First, 52.7% of the subjects were interested in prevention of dementia, but only 5.9% of them had experience of receiving education related to dementia. Second, fear of dementia was higher than cancer, cerebrovascular disease, and cardiovascular disease, but confidence in coping with the disease, expectation of the possibility of maintaining the daily life, expectation of the help of the family and the surrounding people, expectation of the national medical and economic support were significantly lower. Third, as the dementia preventive behaviors were implemented, the confidence in overcoming the disease, the expectation of the possibility of maintaining the daily life, the expectation of the help of the family and the surrounding people, the expectation of the medical and economic support of the country increased and the burden of the treatment cost was lowered. • The aim of the present study was to examine the effects of school forests on the cognition and mental health of elementary school students. Data were obtained through the surveys of sixth graders in an elementary school in Seoul that took part in the School Forest Project run by Korea Post, the Korea Forest Welfare Institute, and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. Students were surveyed before and after the creation of green spaces in their schools, and changes in their environmental sensitivity, attitude toward forests, depression, anxiety, and aggression were analyzed. The findings indicated that the creation of green spaces showed significant effects on the students in terms of encouraging them to strengthen their environmental sensitivity, helping them develop more positive attitudes toward forests, and reducing anxiety and physical aggression, which are the subfactors of aggressive behavior. In other words, creating school forests had positive effects on cognition and mental health, reduced bad behavior, and improved attitudes toward nature in children. The findings of this study are significant in that they reinforce the requirement of school forests by indicating the positive effects of school forests on children's cognition and mental health.

The PBL cases were analysed in the aspects of school levels, target grades, subject clusters, teaching patterns, information sources, cooperative teaching status, library cooperative teaching status, and educational effects. The results were like these; 1)The PBL was applied at the elementary schools the most, the next middle schools, and high schools. 2)The teaching pattern was the exclusive teaching the most, and the next pattern was team teaching with other teacher, and the lowest pattern was with librarian teacher. 3)The subject cluster was natural science cluster the most and the next was the human & social science cluster and the art, music and physical education cluster. 4)The PBL performed with school library was low. 5)The main effects of PBL were the improvements of academic achievement, learning satisfaction degree, creative ability, problem-solving ability, and self-directed learning capability. • This study examines the relative usefulness of the TPB and Extended TPB with the addition of the "Battery" variable to participants in marine sports experiences. The characteristics of behavioral theories (attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and revisit intention) were compared. A total of 420 questionnaires were distributed and surveyed using the convenience sampling method to the general public who participated in the marine sports experience in S city in 2019. Finally, 385 copies of valid samples were extracted, except for the questionnaire. The following analyzes were performed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, concept reliability, AVE value, Cronbach's α correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and independent sample t-test were performed. First, in the TPB, three predictors were found to have a positive effect on revisit intention. Attitudes, subjective norms, and prior knowledge, except for behavioral control, were found to have a positive effect. Second, the explanatory power to explain the return intention was 51.8% (3.3% more than plan behavior theory, p = .000). It can be seen that when prior knowledge is added as a new variable, it is an important factor in explaining intention to return. Third, prior knowledge variables were classified into high and low groups to compare the characteristics of the extended planning behavior theory. The results of the analysis showed that the group with higher prior knowledge had a higher mean value for the constituent variables of the extended planning behavior theory.
