  • The objective of tole study was to compare nutritional knowledge, attitudes and food practices of competitive athletes, recreational athletes and non-participants. All students enrolled at the University of Nebraska in an Introductory Nutrition course in which sports nutrition was stressed, were asked to participate in the study. The course was typical of many introductory nutrition courses ; about two thirds of the students were from the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, and most of the students were encouraged to take this course by their advisers. The students were divided into three groups : 20 competitive athletes (mostly runners, swimmers, basketball players and football players for the University), 14 recreational athletes (who were involved in a planned exercise program at least 2 hours per week), and 19 non-participants. At the beginning of the semester, students completed a food frequency questionnaire, and a 24-hour food record based on the Food Guide Pyramid. A nutrition knowledge and attitude questionnaire was formulated specifically for this study, covering normal nutrition and sports nutrition. The results showed that consumption of foods from all Food Guide Pyramid food groups except the fats/oils/sweets group was not significantly different among the three student groups. Regarding the fats/oils/sweets group, competitive athletes consumed significantly more numbers of servings than recreational athletes, while the recreational athletes consumed significantly more than non-participants (p<0.01). The total mean scores from the nutrition attitude and knowledge questionnaire were not significantly different among the three student groups. However, combined athletes (competitive athletes and recreational athletes) obtained significantly higher scores on some of the nutrition attitude questions (p<0.05). The results of the study indicate that athletes, significantly lower scores on some of the nutrition knowledge questions (p<0.05). The results of the study indicate that athletes, whether competitive or some of the nutrition knowledge questions (p<0.05). The results of the study indicate that athletes, whether competitive or recreational, had a very positive attitude regarding the effects of nutrition on their sports performance and health: however, these athletes did not appear to apply scientific principles of sports nutrition to their diet. In conclusion, advising athletes to simply increase or decrease their intakes of certain foods is too simplistic an approach for maintenance of good health and for better sporting performance. Athletes and non-athletes need continuous nutrition education to help with improving their competitive edge and food choices.

In the location, north from Han river occupied 54.6%, south were 45.2%. 2. According to the status of experiencing an accident, boys were more experienced then girls(p〈0.05). From the section, home accident(56.8%) occupied most followed by school accident, traffic accident, sports accident and poisoning. The accident happening most often in detailed category is sports accident such as basket ball, foot ball and dodge ball. The actual condition of the subject's using a school health facility shows that boys students use it more often than girl students(p〈0.01) 3. In attitude toward safety, the subject showed lower interest in safety issues than other social issues. But attitude in seriality of safety problems were high. • The purpose of this study is to conduct an empirical study on brand authenticity targeting sportswear brand consumers. Through this, we intend to provide the accumulation and implications of authenticity research. For the research model, first, the authenticity of sportswear brand companies was selected as an independent variable. Brand image and brand attitude were selected as the next parameters. Finally, the dependent variable was the intention to pay the premium. Structural equation model analysis was conducted for the structural relationship between these variables. The subjects of this study are consumers who have purchased sportswear brands within the past year. Convenience sampling was used for the sample survey, and 262 people were finally selected as valid samples. The survey was conducted as a non-face-to-face online survey due to the COVID-19 infection. For data processing, frequency analysis was conducted using SPSS 23 to identify the individual characteristics of the survey subjects. In addition, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were performed to refine the scale of the survey tool. Next, using AMOS 21, confirmatory factor analysis and correlation analysis were conducted to verify the measurement model. In addition, structural equation model analysis was conducted to verify the hypothesis. As a result of the analysis, all six hypotheses selected from the research model were adopted.

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate knowledge and attitudes of students majoring in health-related fields toward automated external defibrillator (AED) and to identify the influencing factors of knowledge and attitudes in AED use among the students. Methods: Data were collected from 346 students and analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, post hoc $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis, with SPSS Win 20.0 program. Results: Overall knowledge of AED in health-related major students, except paramedics and physical therapy was relatively low while attitudes were at moderate level. There were statistically significant differences in knowledge according to age, grade, major, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) awareness, exposure to AED and CPR education; and differences in attitude according to major, health status, health awareness, CPR awareness, exposure to AED, and CPR education. Significant factors explained 63% of knowledge on AED (F= 43.96, p<.001) and 37% of attitudes on AED (F= 15.84, p<.001). Conclusion: The study findings suggest that systemic education programs on AED should be implemented during undergraduate curriculum to improve survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest.
