CPS에서 효율적인 데이터분배 기술 (Efficient Data Distribution Service in CPS)

  • As the convergence between the conventional physical systems and IT computing resource is increased, the new paradigm of embedded system called Cyber Physical System (CPS) emerged. CPSs have many sensors, actuators and computing devices to understand and to control the physical system. As these all components are tightly coupled each other, standardized middleware such as Data Distribution Service (DDS) is considered to be deployed. But DDS takes too long time to discover each other in the large-scal CPS environment and has not precise specification of its execution architecture to provide efficient data exchange. In this paper, we design the efficient DDS architecture for development with interoperability to provide the high reliable data distribution. in real-time and propose the communication entity discovery procedure.

조선시대 불전의 건축적구성과 창호형식의 관련성 연구 (A Study on the Interrelation of Architectural Composition and Type of Windows and Doors of the Main Buddhist Halls in Chosun Dynasty)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the interrelation of architectural composition and type of windows and doors in Korean traditional architecture. Windows and doors type, in Korean traditional architecture, is one of the important element which used to playa great role in building's physical fasade, so that used to subjected the building as a whole. In this study, the investigations on the totally 88 Korean Buddhist Temples are made, and the analysis are made according to the physical size of buildings (length and height of JUGAN), composition of JUGAN, and existence of RUGAK. The result of this study indicates that there are outstanding typical differences of traditional windows and doors in advance to variation in the physical size of building, though there are numerous interrelation between typical differences of traditional windows and doors and composition of building as a whole.

배재대학교 캠퍼스 외부 공간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Outdoor Space of Campus in Paichai University)

  • This study aims at reconsidering the spacial structure and suggesting guidelines for campus planning and design with spatial reference to the Campus of PaiChai university, area $208,499m^2$, Taejon. This study is mainly based on user's behavior and physical traces and questionnaire survey. User's behavior and physical traces were carefully observed by 20 students of dept. of landscape architecture at each alloted zone, 6 zones in Campus. Questionnaire survey, consisted of user attitudes, use satisfaction factors and personal items was carried out to 320 persons. As a result, the item of 'rest' shows the highest mean and the item of 'chatting' and 'meeting' follows to utilization purpose. The length of stay is generally 30minute to 1hour. The factor analysis, on the object of 32 items except 4 item, appeared 8 factors: visual elements, activity, vehicle, plants, practicality of street furniture, bench, spacial use and shade.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems in assumption of the distinguished behaviors of hospitalized dementia patients- which can be easily emerged and recognized in senile dementia patients and their distinctive behavior characters in different physical environment per person. Furthermore, it is to suggest a fundamental data to improve physical environment of the different facilities and the design guidelines for reconstruction in terms of the new and therapeutic function of the dementia specialized department. For planning on the dementia specialized hospital, considerablely, security and safety, comfortableness, personal identification of the facility, emotional stability and the proper stimulation for the patients are emphasized according to the research on the frequent and major issues of the patients from their own dwelling place.

  • Although physical modeling synthesis is becoming more and more efficient in rich and natural high-quality sound synthesis, its high computational complexity limits its use in portable devices. This constraint motivated research of single-instruction multiple-data many-core architectures that support the tremendous amount of computations by exploiting massive parallelism inherent in physical modeling synthesis. Since no general consensus has been reached which grain sizes of many-core processors and memories provide the most efficient operation for sound synthesis, design space exploration is conducted for seven processing element (PE) configurations. To find an optimal PE configuration, each PE configuration is evaluated in terms of execution time, area and energy efficiencies. Experimental results show that all PE configurations are satisfied with the system requirements to be implemented in portable devices.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of brick paved under-surface soil physical properties which are changed by fixed trampling. Thus, a sandy loam which is known as a profitable soil for plants is used an experimental soil to study the changes of the soil physical properties. It is related to sand bed's thickness & particle size which are settled by experimental variable factors. According to the variation of sand bed's particle size, bulk density and soil hardness at natural dryed soilcondition result in 0.075~2.00mm>2.00~5.00mm>2.00~8.00mm>5.00~8.00mm, and water content at natural dryed soil condition are observed being insensible change rate from the point that sand thickness is 30~40mm and more sand bed's thickness constructed by the variation of sand bed's thickness.

Reference Model and Architecture of Interactive Cognitive Health Advisor based on Evolutional Cyber-physical Systems

  • This study presents a reference model (RM) and the architecture of a cognitive health advisor (CHA) that integrates information with ambient intelligence. By controlling the information using the CHA platform, the reference model can provide various ambient intelligent solutions to a user. Herein, a novel approach to a CHA RM based on evolutional cyber-physical systems is proposed. The objective of the CHA RM is to improve personal health by managing data integration from many devices as well as conduct a new feedback cycle, which includes training and consulting to improve quality of life. The RM can provide an overview of the basis for implementing concrete software architectures. The proposed RM provides a standardized clarification for developers and service designers in the design and implementation process. The CHA RM provides a new approach to developing a digital healthcare model that includes integrated systems, subsystems, and components. New features for chatbots and feedback functions set the position of the conversational interface system to improve human health by integrating information, analytics, and decisions and feedback as an advisor on the CHA platform.

물리적 환경의 고령친화 디자인 가이드라인 개발 (Development of Aged-friendly Design Guideline in Physical Environment)

  • The purpose of this research is to provide a basic framework of design guideline for elderly people who can live without inconvenience. It is time to think about how to create an age-friendly city for the Korean society which is rapidly advancing in population aging. Design guidelines studied in this research cover not only architecture but also urban, landscape and transportation fields, and consist of 90 items in 7 areas (park&open space, buildings, pedestrian street, crosswalk&bicycle lane, bus stop&subway station, parking housing). The importance of each item and each area were surveyed to verify objectivity. The result of importance of each item can be used to select design guidelines which can be applied first to create an aged-friendly physical environment.

공원 내 물리적 환경인식이 건강증진 목적의 공원이용에 미치는 영향 - 대구광역시 수성구 근린공원을 대상으로 - (Influence of Physical Environment Perception on Park Use for Health Improvement - Focused on Neighborhood Parks in Suseong-gu, Daegu City -)

  • 본 연구는 건강증진 목적으로 공원을 이용할 경우, 물리적 환경에 관한 인식이 이용자의 만족도 및 공원이용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구대상지는 대구광역시 수성구의 근린생활권 근린공원으로 설정하였으며, 총 143부의 설문지를 분석에 활용하였다. 먼저 공원의 물리적 환경에 대한 인식평가에서는 거주지로부터 공원까지의 접근 및 보행환경에 관한 항목들이 4.04로 높게 평가된 반면, 수공간과 공원 내 볼거리에 관한 항목들은 각각 2.32, 2.66으로 낮게 평가되었다. 다음으로 22개의 물리적 환경 인식요소들을 대표 요인으로 유형화하기 위해 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 안락성, 이용성, 쾌적성, 시설편의성, 시각성 등 5개 요인으로 유형화되었다. 이를 토대로 만족도 및 공원이용에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 공원이용 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 안락성, 이용성, 쾌적성, 시설편의성으로 나타났으며, 이 중 쾌적성이 0.315로 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 분석되었다. 공원이용에 영향을 미치는 요인은 이용성과 쾌적성으로 분석되었으며, 이용성이 0.396으로 쾌적성 0.293보다 더 높은 영향성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 건강증진 장소로서 공원이용 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 충분한 녹지면적 확보, 수목 및 시설 관리를 통한 쾌적한 환경 조성이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 공원이용을 활성화시키기 위해서는 거주지에서 공원까지의 보행환경 정비, 산책로 개선 등의 노력이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

자연형 하천복원을 위한 하천자연도 평가 -수원천을 중심으로- (An evaluation of stream naturalness for Close-to-nature stream restoration -In case of Suwon stream-)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate Suwon stream naturalness Index(S.N.I). and tofind out stats, problems and opportunities of the Suwon stream by assessment standard. Assessment standard is mainly based on physical structure of stream environment. the purpose evaluating sectors and elements are physical form and structure restoration of stream. To find out assessment standard of stream naturalness index, conceptual frame of assessment standard has been established, for which four sections, for example, longitudinal section, lateral section, stream bottom structure and water environment, have been selected. Overall stream naturalness index of the Suwon stream has been distributed at 3rd to 4th grade, and 3.3 of assessment index and mode were 3rd grade respectively. stream naturalness index of each section was as follows: Longitudinal section accounted for 3.7in average to be 4th grade, lateral section did 3.8 to be 4th grade, and water environment did 2.4 to be 2nd grade. Analysis of assessment outcome of stream naturalness index has checked status, problems and opportunities of corresponding stream. Assessment of stream naturalness index of the study provides useful information for restoration of close-to-nature stream, and furthermore has its meaning in checking problems and opportunities of Suwon stream.
