  • A two-dimensional velocity map of natural convection in a rectangular cavity is determined using laser speckle photography. Isovelocity contour drawn by spatial filtering and local velocity by pointwise method are obtained. These results are compared with those of numerical analysis.

  • 고압의 주위 압력 영역에서 토모그래피 기법을 이용하여 분무의 단면을 구성하였다. 구성된 분무 단면은 Indirect Photography method를 이용한 이미지와 함께 비교되어 분무 단면의 크기를 확인하였고 토모그래피에 의해 재구성된 단면의 경계를 설정할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 고압의 주위 압력 영역에서도 토모그래피를 적용하여 분무를 구성할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 항공사진을 이용하여 제작된 수치지도를 객체관계형 DBMS에 저장하기 위한 방안을 제시하고, 실험을 통해서 그 효율성을 분석하였다. 수치지도는 관리 및 공급을 위해서는 파일단위로 관리되고 있는데, 이로 인해서 연속적인 도형자료를 얻을 수 없으며, 단지 한 개 도면에 포함된 도형개체를 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문은 타일(Tile)기반의 수치지도 개체를 ORDBMS에 입력할 수 있는 형태로 변환한 후에, 일괄적으로 ORDBMS에 저장하였다. 그리고, 전체 도면 중 필요로 하는 도형 개체를 추출할 수 있는 방안을 실험을 통해 증명하였다.

  • Purpose: Direct anthropometry is an ideal method for preoperative planning and postoperative evaluation in plastic surgery, but it requires highly skilled specialty. Indirect anthropometry, especially photogrammetry, is an alternative method. In photogrammetry, standardized clinical photography is essential. Photogrammetry-based standardized clinical photography has several advantages over direct anthropometry. It is easier to measure and has less chance to make errors during measurement. Furthermore, it is possible to repeat measurements, and available for follow up study based on permanent custody. But, it is still different from actual measurement, and inherently less accurate than anthropometry. Methods: The authors revised the standardized clinical photography and then, carried out photogrammetry using Photoshop(Adobe, U.S.A.), and compared each data with those of anthropometry. The subjects were 50 males and 50 females, undergraduate medical students in twenties. Standard head position was obtained from the wire, fixed to cephalostat which indicates the Frankfort horizontal plane. All photographs were taken at the same situation such as fixed position of light, subject and camera, etc. Results: Total 96 measurements, based on 40 landmarks, consist of linear measurements, angular measurements and inclinations include 3 measurements in head, 22 in face, 15 in orbit, 28 in nose, 16 in lip and mouth, and 12 in ear. Conclusion: Normal photogrammetric data of face of Korean in twenties was obtained. Reliable photogrammetric measurements, not significantly different from anthropometric measurement statistically, accounted for 44 in 96 measurements(45.8%). Anthropometric values different from those of photogrammetric values were obtained by multiplying coefficient by photogrammetric value.

  • This is the study which appear the relation between the situation of Anchor point and the qualities of lithographic prints using the uncoated paper. Anchor point were measured by microscopic photography and Kubelka-munk`s method. The situation of Anchor point increased with print density and print though, but it decreased with evenness and rub off. In case of commercial uncoated paper, the situation of Anchor point was optimized when it was 25~35% apporoximately. In preparation of samples for microscopic photography, the samples were used by the resin testing methods. This method used that the resin fixes the printed papers of sample very hard, in preparation of samples for microscopica potography a good result could be gained by this method.

  • Laser speckle photography-one of the Laser speckle measurement methods which, recently, are used widely in various science, and engineering applications are succesfully used in the non-contact measurement of In-plaane displacement. In this study, automated measurement and analysis are tried in the laser speckle photo- graphy method using a video camera, computer control and processing, and a X-Y positioning table driven by computer controlled stepping motor. The experiment was compared with the theorecial strain and stress data from finite element method. The result showed that displacement, strain and stress can be measured more accurately and conveniently by using this approach.

사진의 자동 구도 보정 제시 기법 (A Method of Auto Photography Composition Suggestion)

  • 본 논문에서는 일반 사용자가 카메라로 사진을 촬영할 경우에 시선을 집중시키면서 안정적인 구도의 영상을 얻을 수 있는 자동 구도 제시기법을 제안한다. 일반 사용자는 대부분 사진의 구도에 대한 배경지식이 없이 사진을 촬영하고, 촬영된 사진은 피사체의 위치가 적절하지 않아 전문가들이 촬영한 안정적인 구도의 사진과 대조된다. 따라서 비전문가 사용자들에게 촬영 후 영상을 처리하는 방법이 아닌 촬영 시 안정적인 구도를 자동으로 제시해주는 방법을 제공한다. 제안하는 방법은 Saliency Map, Image Segmentation, 윤곽선 검출 등을 통해 피사체를 분석하고 피사체를 안정적인 구도가 구성될 수 있는 위치에 황금분할 가이드라인과 함께 출력한다. 실험결과를 통해 피사체를 분석하고 윤곽선을 검출하여 사용자에게 자동으로 구도가 제시되는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • The surface change of upperarm and shoulder blade area are caused by the extensive upper limb movement, thus it is necessary to measure the amount of change for constructing the clothing. Moire photography was taken after plastic casters of upperarm and shoulder blade area was prepared. 1. For the shoulder blade area, subjects showed the same change of surface area for the various limb positions, wherease, for the upperarm only at the $0^{\circ}\;and\;180^{\circ}$ limb position, same change was observed. 2. As the movement of the upperarm was increased, surface area of axillary part was increased and that of shoulder part was decreased. 3. To make a bodice pattern, the minimum size of the back with the ease were $\frac{B}{4}$+3.13 cm R for normal wear and $\frac{B}{4}$+5.75 cm for active wear. 4. As the movement of the arm was increased, the cross section for the upperarm were changed to elliptical shape. 5. For each horizontal basic line, there was a positive correlation between the amount of change of shoulder blad area and that of upperarm area.

  • The consumption became a virtue of social in 20th century, and this consumption culture created an ideal body image through mass media. Sexual image became a new standard of 'beauty' in a modern fashion, and designs which expressed sexual image appear every season. Individuals were fascinated with some parts of human body. These body parts are different based on the time period and the culture that the individual belonged to. This study focused on the erotic body parts and expression on the editorial fashion photography. Eroticism represented in the editorial fashion photographs can be divided into the expression by clothing design and by creating erotic atmospheres. Erotic expressions by clothing design can be presented by 1)exposing directly 2)exposing indirectly 3)emphasizing the body parts. The most frequently presented erotic body parts in fashion photographs were legs(25%), followed by the bodice with breast (21%), the waist (16%), the hip (12%), neck & shoulder (10%), arms (9%), and abdomen (7%). The results indicated that legs were considered to be a erotic body parts often than the traditionally referred erotic body parts, such as bodice with breast or hip. While direct exposing method (e.g., adhesion, see-though) was frequently used for other body parts.

연속파 레이저 스페클 사진법(寫眞法)과 화상처리(畵像處理)에 의한 면내섭위(面內燮位) 측정(測定)에 관한 연구(硏究) (A Study of Measurement of In-plane Displacement by CW Laser Speckle Photography and Image Processing)

  • This paper presents experimental results which explore the capability of a CW laser speckle photography for tile measurement of in-plane displacement at high temperature. The serious restrictions on the application of the method seem to be the ambient air turbulence and the change of surface texture caused by the oxidation, as they tend to decorrelate the double exposured speckle patterns. In order to assess only the effect of air turbulence, a ceramics-coated stainless steel plate is heated in air and Ar-laser specklegrams are made with combination of temperature and lateral translation displacement. The slight reduction in visibility of Young's fringes is observed at $1000^{\circ}C$. The analyses of Young's fringes are carried out by a image processing system using a TV-camera and computers, and the result agrees well with the micrometer reading. Futhermore, uncoated stainless steel and Hastelloy X plates are tested and the effect of oxidation is also evaluated. The experimental results demonstrate that a CW laser speckle photography is applicable at temperatures up to $1000^{\circ}C$.
