A Study on the Fashion Design imaged by Hand Work (핸드 워크 감각(感覺)의 패션 디자인 연구(硏究))

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the fashion images and the aesthetic characteristics of hand work imaged design. The 'hand work' has not only affected the contemporary life style but also the current fashion trend. The primary source of data has been a collection of recent books, news repots, and many articles from various kinds of mass media and fashion magazines since the year 2000. The results of this study can be summarized as follow. First, hand work imaged fashion design can be divided the background into three parts : post-materialism, aesthetics of slowness, personalize trend. Second, hand work imaged fashion design can be identified with the following images : folklore & craft image, second hand image, high touch image. Third, the aesthetic characteristics of hand work image reflects the concepts of sustainability and process communication.

  • 3D printing, which designs product in three dimensions, draws attention as a technology that will lead the future for it dramatically shortens time for production without assembly, no matter how complex the structure is. The paper studies the latest researches of 3D-printed electronics and introduces papers studied electronics components, power supply, circuit interconnection and 3D-printed PCBs' applications. 3D-printed electronics showed possibility to simplify facilities and personalize electric devices by providing one-stop printing process of electronic components, soldering, stacking, and even encapsulation.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of exercise intervention applying various devices to increase the physical activity of the disabled, and to suggest the exercise intervention using converged devices that meet the needs of the times due to the increase of elderly people with disabilities. Exercise intervention using converged devices applicable to the disabled is divided into two types: first, exercise intervention using virtual reality-based gamification, and second, exercise intervention based on wearable devices of wearable or body-attached such as bands and watches. For exercise intervention using converged devices that can be enjoyed by the elderly with disability, minimize of environmental limitations, and easy to personalize, there is a need for configuration requirements such as easy operation and simple rules of operation, easy device installation and wearing, a trainer who can complement immature device utilization. In order to maintain and improve the daily living performance of the elderly with disabilities who experience a significant decrease in their cognitive and physical functions, it is necessary to use a physical activity game that can be experienced and can be interested in everyday life or a variety of devices to increase the amount of physical activity.
