대학생의 성격 유형에 따른 헤어 스타일과 의복 이미지 선호 연구 (The Relationship between Hair Style and Clothing Image Preference by Personality Types in College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine if personality types affect hair style and clothing image. Personality types was applied using Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI). Subjects were 101 students at Keimyung University in Daegu, Korea. Data analysis was performed using SPSS package, which included ANOVA, t-test and ${\chi}^2-test$. The results were summarized as follows. 1. There was only significant relationship between hair style and personality type. Sensing type preferred hair wave style than intuition type. 2. There were several significant differences between clothing image and personality type. Extroversion preferred avantgarde clothing image more than introversion type. Intuition type preferred exotic and avantgarde clothing image more than sensing type. Feeling type preferred active clothing image more than thinking type. Judging type preferred elegance clothing image more than perceiving type. 3. There was significant relationship between hair style and clothing image preference by personality types in college students. Intuition type preferred exotic and avantgarde clothing image and waveless hair style.

프리셉터의 지도유형과 신규간호사의 성격특성에 따른 신규간호사의 간호업무수행과 조직사회화 (Nursing Performance and Organizational Socialization of New Nurses according to Teaching Style of Preceptors and Personality of New Nurses)

  • Purpose: In this study, we examined the differences and relationship between teaching style of preceptors, and personality, nursing performance, and organizational socialization of new nurses. Methods: The participants were 118 new nurses. The data collected from March to May 2011 were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Teaching style of preceptors was most frequently judgement-initiative, and personality of new nurses was most frequently extraversion. Nursing performance ($3.05{\pm}.59$) and organizational socialization ($3.05{\pm}.59$) of new nurses were at an average level. Nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses were not significantly different according to teaching style of preceptors. Significant correlations were found between personality and nursing performance, and between personality and organizational socialization. Conclusion: These findings indicate that changes in perceived teaching style of preceptors and personality of new nurses may be necessary to increase efficiency of preceptorship related to nursing performance and organizational socialization of new nurses. The above-mentioned results should be reflected in the development of effective preceptor training programs.

프리셉터의 지도유형과 성격특성에 따른 직무스트레스와 직무만족도의 차이 (Differences in Job Stress, and Job Satisfaction according to Teaching Style, and Personality of Preceptors)

  • Purpose: In this study, differences and relationship between teaching style, personality, job stress, and job satisfaction among preceptors were examined. Method: The participants were 121 preceptors. Data were collected in November and December 2010 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: The most frequent teaching style was judgement-initiative, and personality scores were highest for conscientiousness. Job stress was average (3.05${\pm}$.59), and job satisfaction was below the mid-point level (2.76${\pm}$.39). Job stress and job satisfaction were significantly different according to teaching style. Significant correlations were found between personality and job stress, and personality and job satisfaction. Conclusion: These findings indicate that changes in perceived teaching style, and personality may be necessary to decrease job stress, and to promote job satisfaction among preceptors. The results of this study should be considered in the development of effective preceptor training programs.

  • Professional micro account officers create top-notch state-owned bank human resources using their knowledge, attitudes, characteristics, and talents. Therefore, it is vital to undertake study to ascertain how the performance of micro account officers will impact the personality and leadership style mediated through motivation. The goal of this study is to identify the mediated role of motivation (MOT) in the relationship between micro account officers' performance (citizenship behavior/CB) and leadership styles (LS) and personalities (BFP). Data was collected from 1.510 micro account officers of banks in Indonesia using the causal survey method to determine their citizenship behavior, leadership styles, personality, and role of motivation. The data collected was analyzed by structural equation modeling (SEM), with the result that leadership style, personality, motivation, leadership style, and personality have a significant effect on motivation and citizenship behavior. The interesting findings are related to the role of leadership style, micro account officer's personality, and citizenship behavior mediated by motivation. It was determined that micro account officers' enhanced performance (CB) was assigned by taking into account how their perceived superordinate leadership style, whether transformational direction or reversely by transactional propensity, and features of micro account officer including their personality, which was affected by five factors as well would then be well mediated by motivation.

경호업무수행자의 성격특성과 직무스트레스 대처행동 및 대처효과의 관계 (The Relationship of Safeguard Accomplishment Personality and Stress Coping Behavior)

  • The purpose of this research is to find relationships between safeguards' personality traits and stress coping behaviors. The findings then could provide data to adapt safeguards to their duties. For that, personality traits such as sociability, stability and stress coping behaviors and the effects were investigated. In addition, cognitive aspects which were known to influence stress coping behaviors were appraised. The findings of this research are as follows, First, regarding personality traits and stress coping behaviors, the unstable and unsocial group used the emotion-focused coping style more than the stable and social group. The two groups didn't show any significant differences in the problem-focused coping style. The A-type group used both the problem-focused style and the emotion-focused style more than the B-type group. The common characteristic of the unstable, the unsociable and the A-type groups was the heavy use of avoidance behaviors of the emotion-focused coping style. Second, In the correlation between the personal traits and the stress coping effects regarding adaptability, the stability influenced stress coping effects. Third, regarding the personality traits, the coping styles and the coping effects, A-type group showed high correlation with the sociability but not with the stability. The problem-focused coping style showed high correlation with the emotion-focused style. Fourth, the cognitive appraisal on the stress causes influenced the stress coping styles but not the stress coping effects. Fifth, the cognitive appraisal on the same stress causes didn't show any significant differences among the personality traits.

고혈압 환자의 D유형 성격 양상에 따른 생활습관과 삶의 질 (The Life Style and Quality of Life according to the Pattern of Type D Personality in Patients with Hypertension)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to describe the pattern of type D personality, to compare the life style and quality of life between type D personality and non-type D personality patients, and to investigate the factors influencing quality of life in patients with hypertension. Methods: A cross sectional, descriptive study was used. The participants in this study were 193 outpatients who were diagnosed with hypertension at two university hospitals in urban area, Korea. The data was collected from December, 2006 to January, 2007. Type D personality was measured by the DS-14 scale. Results: The prevalence of type D personality was 83.9%. Patients of type D personality were significantly different in educational status, monthly income, fat intake and exercise, and had a lower overall quality of life than patients of non-type D personality. Under controlled general characteristics and life style factors, multiple linear regression analysis was performed. The most significant factor influencing quality of life in hypertensive patients was type D personality, and this factor explained their quality of life with a variance of 14.8%. Conclusions: Various programs for psychological intervention are required to control for the distressed personality of patients with hypertension. Further studies should be conducted prospectively on a larger patient population.

여자 청소년의 성격양식과 정서조절곤란이 섭식태도에 미치는 영향 : 신체질량지수(BMI) 집단별 차이를 중심으로 (The Effect of Personality Style and Emotion Dysregulation on Female Adolescents' Eating Attitude : A Comparison between Different Body Mass Index(BMI) Groups)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the effect of personality style and emotional dysregulation on female adolescents' eating attitude, and the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between personality style and eating attitude. For this research, questionnaires on personality style, emotional dysregulation and eating attitude were administered to 1370 female high school students based in Seoul. Among 1370 questionnaires collected, 1239 were selected and statistically analyzed by frequency analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS Win 21.0. The main findings of the study are as follows: First, according to female adolescents' BMI, the level of their eating attitude differed significantly. Second, according to female adolescents' BMI, female adolescents' personality style and emotional dysregulation were found to affect their eating attitude significantly. Third, emotional dysregulation had a mediating effect on the relationship between female adolescents' personality style and eating attitude. To be more specific, for the normal weight group of female adolescents, emotional dysregulation was found to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between sociotropy and eating attitude, and a full mediating effect on the relationship between autonomy and eating attitude. On the contrary, for the overweight and obese groups of female adolescents, emotional dysregulation was found to have a full mediating effect on the relationship between sociotropy and eating attitude, and a partial mediating effect on the relationship between autonomy and eating attitude. The results of the study show the ways in which personality and emotional traits contribute to female adolescents' eating attitude according to their BMI, and provide useful information for treatment of adolescents' eating disorder in clinical settings.

  • 스트레스는 현대인의 생활과정 중에서 피할 수 없는 일부분이다 .그러나 스트레스를 어떻게 대처하는가 하는 것도 업무의 효율성 측면에 있어서는 매우 중요한 요인이 되고 있다. 다시 말해, 스트레스는 대처행동에 따라 그 효과가 달라진다는 것으로, 동일한 스트레스원에 당면하더라도 개인적인 성격특성에 따라 어떤 사람은 강렬한 스트레스를 경험하기도 하고 또 다른 사람은 미약하거나 경험하지 않기도 한다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 개인적인 성격특성은 스트레스 대처행동에 영향을 줄 수 있는 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 성격특성과 스트레스 대처행동과의 관계를 규명하고 아울러 성격특성과 스트레스 대처효과 즉, 적응과의 관계를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 보다 효과적으로 적응할 수 있는 성격특성이 무엇인지를 규명하는 동시에 각 성격특성의 소유자들이 어떤 양식으로 스트레스원에 대처하는가를 밝혀줌으로써, 경호업무 수행자들의 행동을 이해하고 그들의 적응을 지도해 나가는데 필요한 자료를 제공하는데 의의를 두고자 한다.

성격특성이 스트레스 수준, 발생요인, 대처방식에 미치는 영향 : S고등학교 학생들을 중심으로 (The Effects of Personality Traits on Stress Level, Stressor, and Stress Coping Style : Focused on S High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to find and compare the differences in stress level, stressor, and coping style of high school students according to their personality traits. And to identify the personality traits contributing to stress reduction. The results of the study can be used as basic data for reducing the stress of adolescents to improve their academic achievement and maintain mental and physical stability. The questionnaire survey was conducted for 10 days from June 7 to June 16, 2017 for S high school students in Chungbuk Province. The study employed four measuring instruments as Ego-gram, Ok-gram, stressor scale, and stress coping type scale. Individual personality traits were classified into ego-states and ok-states in TA (Transactional Analysis). Stressors are classified into 5 categories (school life, home life, human relationship, myself, environment) and stress coping styles are classified into 4 categories (problem-focused coping, social-support coping, feeling-focused coping, hope-thinking coping) used in the previous studies. The collected data were analyzed using T-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. As a result, the stress level of high school students showed significant differences according to sex, year, grade, sleeping time, personality traits, and coping styles. Personality traits that contributed to the stress increase were NP, AC, 'you positive', 'i negative' and personality trait that contributes to stress reduction is 'you negative.' Therefore, we can judge that individual personality traits have significant effects on stress level, stressor, and coping style and need to find the effective stress management method suitable for individual personality traits using counseling, repetition training, self-suggestion etc.

성격유형별 의복 라이프스타일과 의복구매행동 (Clothing Life-Style and Clothing Buying Behavior on Personality Types)

  • The purposes of this study were to find the difference of clothing life-style and to examine clothing buying behaviors on personality types. Personality types were identified using Myers-Briggs Type indicator(MBTI). The data were collected from 360 female adults using a questionnaire to clothing lifestyle and clothing buying behavior. The data were analysed with factor analysis, one- way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. Results are summarized as follows: First, 'Fashion-oriented', 'self-regulate-oriented', 'activity-oriented', 'economic-oriented', 'social-oriented', 'leisure-oriented' and 'conservationoriented' clothing life-style had a significant difference of psychological types. Second, Extroverted(E) or Sensation(S) or Feeling(F) types regarded significantly higher in 'VMD', 'store atmosphere', 'famous brand name and store name' as criteria for store selection than combination types(IN, IT, NT) of Introverted(Ⅰ), iNtuition(N), Thinking(T). Third, Sensation Judgement types(SJs) of a patron temperament preferred a 'plan-oriented' life-style and considered 'famous brand name and store name' important. Sensation Perceiving types(SPs) of an artist temperament had an 'unplanned' clothing life-style and a significantly higher impulsive buying orientation than SJs.
